  • mySQL convert varchar to date

    I need to convert a varchar value of 1/9/2011 to a date in mySQL and I want only the month and year. So that I can then use the PERIOD_DIFF function (so I would need the above to be converted to 201101). I've tried various ways using the STR_TO_DATE function: SELECT STR_TO_DATE(CYOApp_oilChangedDate, '%m/%Y') FROM CYO_AppInfo But I get weird results... (for example: 2009-01-00) What am I doing incorrectly?

But becides shell, program have a gui interface, so I need to run editline's readline() function in separate thread, because it blocks until Enter pressed.     I'm trying to enable a button but the button that I would enable in this function changes. I have an array of the buttons but when I use the .enabled on the array index I want it says that this doesn't work for IDs.     Hello everyone. How can I remove the . and .. from a path in Delphi (not using .NET). I need a function, so I can pass it something like 'c:\program files..\program files...', and I want the function to return to me 'c:\'. Can Delphi do that on its own? Or do I need to do it myself?

    I have the following code block code when the document is ready: $(document).ready(function() { createDivs(); // creates some divs with class 'foo'; // iterate $(".foo").each(function(index) { alert(index + " - " + $(this).text()); }); } I find that the "iterate" part misses the divs I created in the createDivs() method entirely! Is there some timing issue I'm not aware of? Why doesn't jquery see the divs that were just created?
