• How do I convert PDF to HTML programmatically?

  Are there any classes, COM objects, command line utilities, or anything else that I can make an API for that can convert a PDF to an HTML document? Obviously the conversion might be a little rough since PDFs can contain a lot more than HTML can describe. I found a utility called pdftohtml on Source Forge, but quite honestly it does a horrible job with the conversion. I don't care if the software is free or commercial, but is there anything out there at all that I can incorporate with my own software to do this sort of conversion at least decently? I know Google's developed their own method of doing this, since you can click "View as HTML" on a PDF attached to an email through Gmail, but I was hoping there was something out available to the public. Remember, PDF to HTML. I'm NOT worried about HTML to PDF.

  Problem : How to redirect the user to a specific executed transaction screen in SAP? Generated the SAP shortcut and able to redirect the user to specific transaction screen. It is also possible to prefill the required input parameters. The corresponding line in the shortcut is- Command=AB12 RIWO00-input1=200001212; where AB12 is the trasaction, and input1 is the input parameter. This will open that SAP screen, with AB12 transaction and the input parameter would be filled with values. But this mandates the user to clicks on enter explicitly/click on execute button explicitly after opening through the shortcut file. Is it possible to include that enter also in the shortcut file? • Don't see Clean solution option in Visual Studio

  For one of the solutions, I don't see the Clean Solution option neither in the context menu when I right click on the solution name in the Solution Explorer nor in the Build menu. When I make any changes to the project and debug, VS never hits the break point and I get the "The breakpoint will not currently be hit. The source code is different from the original version." message. My understanding is that I need to clean the solution. For other solutions, I do see the Clean solution and I don't have the same issue.

  I want to catch itemEditEnd in a tree control, but i'm having a little trouble. • JTable.setRowHeight prevents me from adding more rows

  I'm working on a pretty simple Java app in order to learn more about JTables, TableModels, and custom cell renderers. The table is a simple table with 8 columns only with text in them. When you click on an "add" button, a dialog pops up and lets you enter the data for the columns. Now to my problem. One of the columns (the last one) should allow for multiple lines of text. I'm already putting HTML into the field, but it is not wrapping. I did some research and looked into JTable#setRowHeight(). However, once I use setRowHeight, I can no longer add rows to the table. The data is put into the table model, but it does not show in the table. If I remove the setRowHeight line, then it adds data just fine. Is there another step to adding data to my data model that I'm missing? Thanks a lot!

I've tried a couple of jQuery lightbox plugins, but I can't seem to get them to perform in a live function (correct me if I'm wrong in thinking I need to do this). Eventhough i click on the row. First column i.e radio button or checkbox is not set.. Please help me to solve this issue in firefox. Do let me know where my code needs to be changed...   There is only one text field on a HTML form. Users input some text, press Enter, submit the form, and the form is reloaded. The main use is barcode reading. However, when the user click somewhere outside the field within the browser window (the white empty space), the cursor is gone.   Hi guys, I'm working on a new test app (just out of curiosity really) which is an add on to iTunes. I'm trying fairly basic things at the mo, and have managed to control volume, pause etc etc. I have a function from some demo code which loops through all the tracks in my main library and gets their album name... I then show the individual album name in my listbox. This is FAR from the best way to do it! Is there a way to query the library to get just the album names? I ultimately want to get to a point where I can have a list of albums (with images) - I click on the album name and that loads the associated tracks.... thanks for any help! (I'm using VB.net btw)

• Python mechanize - two buttons of type 'submit'

  I have a mechanize script written in python that fills out a web form and is supposed to click on the 'create' button. But there's a problem, the form has two buttons. One for 'add attached file' and one for 'create'. Both are of type 'submit', and the attach button is the first one listed. So when I select the forum and do br.submit(), it clicks on the 'attach' button instead of 'create'. Extensive Googling has yielded nothing useful for selecting a specific button in a form. Does anyone know of any methods for skipping over the first 'submit' button and clicking the second?

Something like public void callByName(String funcName){ this.(funcName)(); } I have searched a bit into lambda funcions but they are not supported. I was thinking about going for Reflection, but I am a bit new to programming, so I am not so familiar with the subject. This whole question was brought up on my java OOP class, when I started GUI (Swing, swt) programming, and events. I found that using object.addActionCommand() is very ugly, because I would later need to make a Switch and catch the exact command I wanted. I would rather do something like object.attachFunction(btn1_click), so that it would call the btn1_click function when the event click was raised. Thank you Joao

  The WPF CommandManager allows you to do the following (pseudo-ish-code): <Button Name="SomeButton" Command="{Binding Path=ViewModelCommand}"/> And in the code-behind: private void InitCommandEvents() { CommandManager.AddExecutedEventHandler(this.SomeButton, SomeEventHandler); } The SomeEventHandler never gets called. To me this didn't seem like something very wrong to try and do, but if you consider what happens inside CommandManager.AddExecutedEventHandler, it makes sense why it doesn't. Add to that the fact that the documentation clearly states that the CommandManager only works with RoutedCommands. Nonetheless, this had me very frustrated for a while and led me to this question: What would you suggest is the best workaround for the fact that the CommandManager does not support custom ICommands? Especially if you want to add behavior around the execution of a command? For now, I fire the command manually in code behind from the button click event.

  I have an extension of the winforms TabControl, it's draws an X on each tab to allow the user to close the tab. How can I similate button look&feel on that image? It's not a button, it's not even an image control. It's just been drawn there. Is there a way to draw an inset border on MouseDown and Raised on MouseUp? Would I be better off generating another image, for the "inset" phase? anyone done this before? • jQuery change selected option's background on change of selected item

  I have a routine that dynamically changes a select list's "selected" option when the corresponding image from a carousel widget is clicked (it's a wordpress template selector). I'd just like to add a flash of background color, then fade to white, to give the user a visual cue that they've just changed the value of the template chooser select list. I've attempted at it below to assign the className "mySelectedOption" to the selected option, but its not working. • Cloud e-mail and portal integration: experiences?

  I am evaluating cloud e-mail solutions based upon: Google Apps for Education Microsoft Live@edu I work for a University and we currently have an institutional portal (based on uPortal). We currently have our local IMAP server and webmail client fully integrated with the portal. We would like to replicate the current portal e-mail experience with the new e-mail services. At present users can see a snapshot of their inbox in the portal and click through into the appropriate place in the webmail client. We expect that we need to solve similar problems when integrating with the cloud based e-mail solutions. We need to solve the single sign-on (SSO) problem. We need to be able to access the inbox messages on the users behalf. (e.g. proxy authentication) Does anybody have an experience or advice on this? Many thanks, Mark

• Annoying Blank pop-up window go away

  Hi All, Sorry about the wording for my question title. I have a basic HTML anchor tag that when clicked it is suppose to bring up a dialog box to download a file from a differnt website. I am using an attribute of target="_blank" so that when my hyperlink is clicked, I don't navigate away from my main window. This is all the easy part (if it was so easy I wouldnt be here though). When I do the above though, and click on the hyperlink, an annoying blank window pops up with my download dialog box behind it. How do I get rid of that annoying blank window and keep only my download dialog box on the screen?
