• Problem with MIB_IFTABLE & MIB_IFROW

  Hello there, Im using MIB_IFTABLE & MIB_IFROW to get the no.of bytes transmitted & received. Everything looks fine, and values are correct in case of using WIFI alone. But when i use vpn connection over wifi these values are not correct for wifi adapter, interestingly i'm getting correct values for vpn adapter. And if i see status of any of these adapters(right click and see status), all these values given by windows are correct. here are my questions. 1) is there any other way of getting no.of bytes transferred over adapter? 2) is there a way to tell whether adapter is vpn or not? (as all vpn adapters are shows as Local Area Connection) 3) If you are connected to VPN, is there a possibility of bytes getting transferred through other than this vpn adapter?(forget about split tunneling, consider very simple case) i use vs2005, win7, Im new to these protocols, thanks for any help. -calvin

  There is only one text field on a HTML form. Users input some text, press Enter, submit the form, and the form is reloaded. The main use is barcode reading. I use the following code to set the focus to the text field: <script language="javascript"> <!-- document.getElementById("#{id}").focus() //--> </script> It works most of the time (if nobody touches the screen/mouse/keyboard). However, when the user click somewhere outside the field within the browser window (the white empty space), the cursor is gone. One a single field HTML form, how can I prevent the cursor from getting lost? Or, how to re-focus the cursor inside the field after the cursor is lost? thx!

  Hi my program launches a 3rd party program with a few switches to update itself. Once these updates are complete I need to manually click save from the applications menu. This can be done via the keyboard (Alt Gr + M then Alt Gr + S) The application will take several seconds to load at which point the application will open maximised and the save option will be enabled. Can anyone suggest a method or example for doing such a thing? Monitoring a lauched process? Macro? Thanks.

• CommandManager Executed Events don't fire for custom ICommands

  The WPF CommandManager allows you to do the following (pseudo-ish-code): <Button Name="SomeButton" Command="{Binding Path=ViewModelCommand}"/> And in the code-behind: private void InitCommandEvents() { CommandManager.AddExecutedEventHandler(this.SomeButton, SomeEventHandler); } The SomeEventHandler never gets called. To me this didn't seem like something very wrong to try and do, but if you consider what happens inside CommandManager.AddExecutedEventHandler, it makes sense why it doesn't. Add to that the fact that the documentation clearly states that the CommandManager only works with RoutedCommands. Nonetheless, this had me very frustrated for a while and led me to this question: What would you suggest is the best workaround for the fact that the CommandManager does not support custom ICommands? Especially if you want to add behavior around the execution of a command? For now, I fire the command manually in code behind from the button click event.

  I have sample exe say console.exe on "programfiles\myAppFolder" .It serves the purpose of logging the message to eventviewer EventLog.WriteEntry(sSource, sEvent, EventLogEntryType.Warning, 234); But whenever I click on the exe I need to call this exe on un-install of appcn from NSIS script .However it gives me an error always that "thisappConsole has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Can anyone help me with this. If I put any other sample consoleapp without any additional "using statements". it works ..

  Hi, I am creating hotel booking system which requires lots of modal dialogs. For this purpose I am using jqueryUI dialog widget. yesterday I embedded it on one of the features of application but this time when dialog opens upon click then its Header is very large about 300-400px in height where as normal header is about 40px in height. Everywhere in the application it is still working fine but at only place it is giving such error. Css is also identical at all places. If anybody knows how to fix this issue then please post here.   Hi, I use the Map to display some pin location from my database, everything is working fine. After that I use a pickerView to let the user display some specific pins. So I remove all the Pins first with [mapView removeAnnotations:mapView.anotations]; and display new Pins. There is like 100 of news pins, my problem is when I click on a Pin, the Title and subtitle are display under the others pins. Someone got the same problem? Thanks, P.S: Don't know if its relevant but I add a custom image for the pins.

  I have three menus on this test web site. I am learning css and trying all the menus inherit all properties from menu class. The second one looks different and is not clickable. I am happy with the 3rd one, just want to make it horizontal and change its position bit. Could somebody tell me why the second menu is not click-able? how I can make the third menu vertical? I thought that display: block; for li of the 3rd menu would do the trick but I do not know the css path for that li.

  Problem : How to redirect the user to a specific executed transaction screen in SAP? Generated the SAP shortcut and able to redirect the user to specific transaction screen. It is also possible to prefill the required input parameters. The corresponding line in the shortcut is- Command=AB12 RIWO00-input1=200001212; where AB12 is the trasaction, and input1 is the input parameter. This will open that SAP screen, with AB12 transaction and the input parameter would be filled with values. But this mandates the user to clicks on enter explicitly/click on execute button explicitly after opening through the shortcut file. Is it possible to include that enter also in the shortcut file?   Hi, I have a table of products on my page, each product has zero or more colors, the colors are shown as a list beneath the product. After the colors I have a button to add a color. The button will do an ajax call with the parent product id to a controller which will return a JSON object with color information. My problem is where to store the product id in the DOM, should I put it in a hidden field and use jquery in the click event of the "add color" to get to it? What is the best way to do this? • JTable.setRowHeight prevents me from adding more rows

  I'm working on a pretty simple Java app in order to learn more about JTables, TableModels, and custom cell renderers. The table is a simple table with 8 columns only with text in them. When you click on an "add" button, a dialog pops up and lets you enter the data for the columns. Now to my problem. One of the columns (the last one) should allow for multiple lines of text. I'm already putting HTML into the field, but it is not wrapping. I did some research and looked into JTable#setRowHeight(). However, once I use setRowHeight, I can no longer add rows to the table. The data is put into the table model, but it does not show in the table. If I remove the setRowHeight line, then it adds data just fine. Is there another step to adding data to my data model that I'm missing? Thanks a lot!

• TTRequestLoader always raises "TTDASSERT failed: _cacheKey == request.cacheKey"

  I run the TTCatalog application from the Three20 library and encountered this error when click on the "Photo Thumbnails" of the "Three20 Catalog": TTDASSERT failed: _cacheKey == request.cacheKey I look at the breakpoint and see that it is on line 119 of TTRequestLoader.m of the method addRequest. I know that it failed to do the assertion of the cacheKey, but why this error appears even on the sample application, does anyone encounter the same error? What is the workaround of this? Thanks, P/S: I downloaded the Three20 from the git directory just yesterday. So I assume this be the newest one.

  I am evaluating cloud e-mail solutions based upon: Google Apps for Education Microsoft Live@edu I work for a University and we currently have an institutional portal (based on uPortal). We currently have our local IMAP server and webmail client fully integrated with the portal. We would like to replicate the current portal e-mail experience with the new e-mail services. At present users can see a snapshot of their inbox in the portal and click through into the appropriate place in the webmail client. We expect that we need to solve similar problems when integrating with the cloud based e-mail solutions. We need to solve the single sign-on (SSO) problem. We need to be able to access the inbox messages on the users behalf. (e.g. proxy authentication) Does anybody have an experience or advice on this? Many thanks, Mark

• Django admin causes high load for one model...

  In my Django admin, when I try to view/edit objects from one particular model class the memory usage and CPU rockets up and I have to restart the server. I can view the list of objects fine, but the problem comes when I click on one of the objects. Other models are fine. Working with the object in code (i.e. creating and displaying) is ok, the problem only arises when I try to view an object with the admin interface. The class isn't even particularly exotic: class Comment(models.Model): user = models.ForeignKey(User) thing = models.ForeignKey(Thing) date = models.DateTimeField(auto_now_add=True) content = models.TextField(blank=True, null=True) approved = models.BooleanField(default=True) class Meta: ordering = ['-date'] Any ideas? I'm stumped. The only reason I could think of might be that the thing is quite a large object (a few kb), but as I understand it, it wouldn't get loaded until it was needed (correct?).

So what I am doing is adding the code below in the validate(): errorPlacement: function (error, element) { error.insertBefore('form#emailForm'); } The problem is that the error label now is added a lot of times above the form, in every click. • ASP.NET Nested Repeater Accessing elements

  I have a list of Accommodation objects bound to a Repeater, and then a nested Repeater which has the various attendee groups listed [e.g. Default, Seniors, Juniors]. This is all output fine, with the values displayed as LinkButtons, which when clicked gets sent to a code-behind event handler. Here is an example of the output to give you a picture [with some er... interesting attendee group names]: In the event handler, I test the object parameter to see which Repeater has been sent, as the outer repeater's links can also be clicked [so the Accommodation would be set, but no Attendee Group]. Is there a way to get a HiddenField from the outer RepeaterItem that contains the currently clicked inner repeater's LinkButton? E.g. From the image, I click the Attending link in the Women section. So the EventArgs via FindControl can get me the hidden field which contains the Attendee Group's ID, which is good, but I also need the Accommodation ID [to know whether it was either Wimbledon Hotel Inn or New Acc]

• Need a jQuery Lightbox plugin that supports $.live() and grouping

  I'm bringing in all of my images via Ajax, and I'm looking for a quick fix for the front-end of this project. I've tried a couple of jQuery lightbox plugins, but I can't seem to get them to perform in a live function (correct me if I'm wrong in thinking I need to do this).   I really like gnu screen but there is a problem in my environment when I use it. Examle: username@domain:/var/www$ l Display all 130 possibilities? (y or n) when you click [Tab] to perform autocompletion there is a screen flashing for a very short period of time(looks like white screen but I can see it for a very-very short time). There isn't any problems with that when I execute the same action in normal/non-screen environment.
