    Hello everybody, Are there any programs that render websites from the point of view of different browsers? In other words, I'd like to be able to open and view websites as if it were Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc. It would be a bonus if the utility has a paned interface that lets you view pages side by side.   • How to suppress the inclusion of the .Net framework in a installation package created with visual st

    I built a very simple installation package that only consists of some merge modules. The Setup project explorer shows no dependencies on .Net for these merge modules (and it should not). However, on building the .msi file a requierement for .Net is added to it. Can this be avoided, or do I have to use a third party .msi builder? (I tried the obvious unchecking of any checkbox in the requierements listbox.)

  • System.Web.UI not available in console app?

    Hey everybody, Im trying to write a quick console app that outputs data to an HTML file, however im having trouble accessing the System.Web.UI namespace. Adding System.Web to my references places a warning icon on top of the reference name in the solution explorer and System.Web is not available in the .NET reference list (in order for me to actually add it to the project I have to go to the object browser and add it from there). Anybody have any ideas about what I could be missing? Thanks alot people!

Any ideas on how to do this? The directory is already given by os.getcwd. Cross platform methods preferred :)

    Hi I need a utility to close server socket handles open by the process, on windows. I cannot use tcpview as it does not close the server socket (ESTABLISHED state). Process explorer comes close with its handle list and "close handle" option, but it only gives the handle path (like \Device\Afd) and if application has open many such sockets I cannot tell which handle I would like to close. Any idea?

  • Visual Studio 2008 - Why do my windows keep rearranging themselves?

    Every so often (at least a couple of times a day), my VS2008 windows are rearranging themselves. Team/Solution/Server Explorer - They jump from the right sidebar down to the bottom, or suddenly become free-floating. Same with Errors/Pending Changes/etc. free-floating or suddenly gone, as if they've been closed. It is very strange behaviour. Has anyone else experienced it? Am I doing something silly that would account for this?

In this I want a folder for each month like "Jan10", "Feb10"....."Dec10" In each month folder I want to create folder for "Todays date" I have create a shortcut for that 2010 folder with Target as C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n, /e, /select, F:\2010 I want a functionality that will execute when I click the shortcut for f:\2010 icon.   • Is it possible to smooth a scaled TBitmap in Delphi?

    I am using Stretched=True on a TBitmap with a 256x256 image. This gets scaled down by 1,2,4 or 8. As expected, text on the bitmap gets more horrible the more I depart from '1'. I notice though that Windows 7 explorer renders a scaled down version of the bitmap 'softer' and more pleasing. Is it possible to 'blur' a TBitmap in this way?

    I want to allow an Excel report to be viewed embedded in a WebPage... is there a way? I don't want to use an ActiveX, or OWC (Office Web Components), I just want to open an existing file from the internet explorer application. I don't want users to download and then open it. Using an iframe wouldn't be a problem, but my preliminary tests weren't successful Any ideas? Is it at all possible?

When I inserted an image it doesnt shows in firefox and explorer. With safari, the image only shows an empty box with a question sign in the middle.     Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I'm unable to open a subdirectory within a symboliclink'd directory. I've confirmed that the paths are correct (even copy & pasted the path into explorer, which parsed it fine). This is a strange, annoying, bug :|. Example: C:\folder\symbolic_link\dir1\dir2 - opening dir2 fails. C:\folder\symbolic_link\dir1 - works C:\folder\real_directory\dir1\dir2 - works C:\folder\real_directory\dir1 - works

    I have created a simple view consisting of 3 tables in SQL. By right clicking and selecting Design, in the Object explorer table, i modified my custom view. I just added sortby asc in a field. The problem is that the changes are not reflected in the outout of the View. After saving the view, and selecting Open view the sort is not displayed in output. So what is going on here?

  • How can I display different icons for same file extension

    Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on. When I create a New web Application it has References folder but when I add new .aspx file it also adds .aspx.designer.cs file with it and its does not show master page option in add dialogue. but in the old web application it shows the master page option where master page file is already added. whats the difference between these two solutions.
