MODX based site has been compromised, and tagged by Google as malware

I'm the webmaster (inherited the site from the developer) for a site called kenbrook.org. The site is currently being tagged as malware infected by Google, and gives the following details: http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=kenbrook.org Sadly, this is the second time it has occurred. I posted the issue when it happened last year originally on Stackoverflow on this post, shortly after I inherited the site. At the time the fix was a simple removal of a few lines of code from a .js file, but I never did discover or resolve the vulnerability. The site is built on MODX, which neither I, nor the original builder, have any familiarity with. I've tried to check for security updates from MODX, but updating that software has been a real pain also. Sooo...what's my next step to getting this whole issue resolved? Or steps?

NetBeans 6.9 Released

Great news, the first NetBeans release that has been conducted fully under the stewardship of Oracle has now been released. NetBeans IDE 6.9 introduces the JavaFX Composer, a visual layout tool for building JavaFX GUI applications, similar to the Swing GUI builder for Java SE applications. With the JavaFX Composer, developers can quickly build, visually edit, and debug Rich Internet Applications (RIA) and bind components to various data sources, including Web services. The NetBeans 6.9 release also features OSGi interoperability for NetBeans Platform applications and support for developing OSGi bundles with Maven. With support for OSGi and Swing standards, the NetBeans Platform now supports the standard UI toolkit and the standard module system, providing a unique combination of standards for modular, rich-client development. I already tried: Craig's list got about 10 resumes, but most couldn't answer our technical questions StackOverflow Careers no responses What sites did you have success with finding good developers? UPDATE 1: Wanted to provide some more information: My company is in NJ. We are a small startup. Less then 10 people. Monster, Dice, CareerBuilder all charge like $500 a month per posting. Seems a bit much. Also only Dice is specifically targeting technical positions. With monster and career builder I am a bit worried about having to go through hundreds of resumes that don't apply.

What one feature available in other IDEs should be added to Xcode? [closed]

This is inspired by Which features from other IDEs/editors you wish you have in Visual Studio? Xcode is a very different tool from Visual Studio, with a different feature set. While some of its capabilities are very mature (it had RAD UI layout in Interface Builder since before most other platforms), it lacks some features that e.g. Visual Studio or Eclipse provide. If you could request one feature to be added to Xcode, which would it be? How would that feature help you write better code, or write the same code faster?

In addition to the release documentation, the following new information is provided: Learn about some of the "behind the scenes" work for an application, such as threads, events, and binding with the new learning trail on the landing page. Learn how to use cell editors with the List View component. The new example in the UI Controls tutorial shows how to build a list of names by selecting them from a combo box. I am learning LWJGL so i can start working on my game. In order to learn LWJGL I got the idea to implement the map builder so I can get comfortable with graphics programming. Now, for the map creation tool I need to draw new elements or draw the old one's with different coordinates. Let me explain this: My game will be a 2D scroller. The map will be consisting of multiple rectangles ( 2 strip triangles). When I click my left-mouse button i want to start the rectangle and when I release it I want to stop the rectangle bottom-right at that position. As I want to use VBOs I want to know how to modify data inside the VBO based on user input. Should i have a copy of a vertex array and then add the whole array to the VBO at each user input? How is usually implemented the VBO update?

I want to create a subdomain for a site hosted by Jimdo (a DIY website builder). Jimdo does not allow subdomains however. I am trying to find a workaround where a subdomain is hosted elsewhere but everything else remains as it is. E.g. I use their email service and I want to keep it. The domain is not hosted by Jimdo, but by a host that allows me to edit my zones. It points to the Jimdo NS. I have independent hosting where I have NS information. This is where I want to host my subdomain. My thinking was that I could use ZoneEdit as a "fork" that allows me to keep using my Jimdo page like before and, at the same time, directs a subdomain to another host. Provided this is possible: Question: How do I configure ZoneEdit CNAME or NS records to forward visitors to my website and my email to my Jimdo mail account while pointing a subdomain to another host?

Use Google Analytics to record newsletter clicks to an external website

Note: by external website I mean a website that we do not have access to the code. For example www.facebook.com I want to record how many social share clicks we have from our customer newsletters. For example, when a customer receives a newsletter they can click "Share this on Facebook" which shares the hosted version of the newsletter. If I wanted to record these newsletter clicks to our website I understand we'd use Google URL Builder (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=en) to create a UTM URL but because we're linking to an external site, how do we record this?

Building a Java CMS - What Existing Product Should I Use?

I'm a Java developer and in need of a CMS. I've spent a lot of time reading about, and tinkering with Liferay but am concerned that it doesn't cover two of my three major concerns I need to have many sites with individual domains HTML/CSS designers need to be able to design the website templates, look and feel, and layouts in their own tools without having to worry about writing scripts Site and page building APIs must be understandable so that a custom builder interface can be created and harness the CMS as opposed to hacking it Liferay nails the first bullet point, but the second two appear to be unsolved. Does anyone have experience with a Java CMS that does all three? Or have any idea how to approach the problem if none exists? Has someone has used a Java CMS and has been able to add this functionality give some insight?

Why Android for new (micro) consoles?

There are a lot of new (micro) consoles with Android inside coming soon or already there (OUYA for example). My question is: why use Android and not another OS as base for these consoles? I assume that there are pragmatic answers to this but I can't see any clear killer feature. For example, one can assume that any stable Linux distribution would work (like Valve seem to think). Android is primarily targetted at mobile platforms which mean it is built around the idea of being interrupted which goes against a lot of what console devs needs in new hardware - but is not killing Android as a platform for gamedev either as it's just a constraint. Why not another OS? What's the Android killer features that make micro-console builder using it instead of Linux or anything else?
