  • jQuery plugin to style objects

    Hi. I've been looking at the various JavaScript UI libraries and am wondering if there's one that can add some styling to page elements. I'm currently adding rounded corners, shadows, borders, and gradients via my own CSS + hacks to get it working on IE. I'm using jQuery for a number of tasks and wondered if there's a plugin that can add these design flairs more easily to DIVs. Not that you want to go overboard with this stuff, but when you need to use it, you'd like to depend on cross-browser and tried-and-tested solutions. Thanks.

  • TinyMce plugin, how to copy 'Link' functionality.

    I'm creating a new plugin for TinyMce. However I cannot find any examples to see some of the functionality I've seen in other plugins. I've read their source code but I cannot find where it is done: When you click on an 'A' element, the link/unlink buttons in the taskbar become enabled. When you right click on an 'A' element, then click on the "Insert/edit link" icon that is shown in the popup menu, the "Insert/edit link" window is setup (has all the attributes for that particular link) prefilled. Could you suggest somewhere where I could learn how to do this? A file and line number is fine. Thanks in advance.

  • Jquery: Setting permanent height to an specific tab & resize plugin

    I am working with jquery sliding tabs. I have found a resize plugin that helps the tabs adjust to expanding content. The only thing is that i want to set a permanent height to tab 1(st_content_1). The code i have below works but it is a bit faulty. Should place in the function if statements? Check for the height of the first tab and then set it? Or a any better solution? You can check my EXAMPLE. The only place where I can see them is when I look at "What is already installed?". What could be the problem?

    I've been searching for a plugin of TinyMCE that allows to upload and insert an image in the text, the problem I've found with many plugins is allowing to see and select from a gallery of images of the server, that's a functionality I don't need or want, just allow the user to select an image from his computer, upload and insert it. There is a plugin that acomplishes only this? Thanks

I need to be able to extend the Eclipse Java Editor component and add coloured overlays to the code based on pluggable external metrics. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any kind of syntax highlighting extension point. Does anyone know how I might be able to extend the exisitng eclipse Java Editor to add custom highlighting rules?     I need a lightbox plugin that is styled similar to FancyBox but will allow me to add text to the same white background as the image. Lightweight because I don't want many features as it's going to be added to an already heavy JS page. Preferably without Ajax features as I'll be handling this myself. Therefore I'm ruling out the use of Thickbox, Fancybox and jQuery UI. Basically I want the plugin to be a currently supported light-box jQuery plug-in that handles all the cross browser styling issues which I can then customise.
