    Hi, I'm using Delphi 2010 to create a SOAP Server. The server is created as a ISAPI/NSAPI DLL. I then add an interface with some sample methods.     hi to all , In a Portable-Executable ,we can change the imported dll name ,by editing PE file , here , i had changed in one imported dll name of application exe,that time it changed normally ....e.g advapi32.dll to ^dvapi32.dll ,so here system32 or any other PATH location doesnt have ^dvapi32.dll ..this time simply i changed the real advapi32.dll into ^dvapi32.dll and put in the application directory ,this time its work fine ....but when i am trying with ntdll & gdi32.dll ,it doesnt supported ,i cant resolve the problem ,pls help me towards the problem ..thanks.

    Hi, I have to built dynamically equations like following: x + x/3 + (x/3)/4 + (x/3/4)/2 = 50 Now I would like to evaluate this equation and get x. The equation is built dynamically. x is the leaf node in a taxonomy, the other 3 nodes are the super concepts. The divisor represents the number of children of the child nodes.     As part of a transaction I’m modifying rows in tables via a server link, so have to specify “SET XACT_ABORT ON” in my sproc otherwise it won’t execute. Now I’m noticing that SCOPE_IDENTITY() is returning NULL, which is presumably something to do with the distributed transaction scope? Does anyone know why and how to resolve?

    Having created a System.Messaging.MessageQueue using the MessageQueue(string queuePath) constructor, attempting to use MessageQueue.Send(obj) results in a 'Unable to generate a temporary class (result=1)' exception with the additional text: 'error CS0122: 'System.__ComObject' is inaccessible due to its protection level'. The queue itself has full control given to EVERYONE. When querying the MessageQueue object for it's read write permissions, it returns SendAndReceive. What causes this error and how do you resolve it?

    I have a UIViewController and I'm noticing that I've done something to where the didReceiveMemoryWarning method is getting called every time I run it on an actual device. I've run the project with Run Run With Performance Tool Object Allocations (and Leaks also). There are no leaks but I have no idea how to read or understand the "Object Allocations" data that is displayed. So ... How do I read this information and what is/are the best ways to figure out (and resolve) why this is happening? Thanks

  • An IOCP documentation interpretation question - buffer ownership ambiguity

    Since I'm not a native English speaker I might be missing something so maybe someone here knows better than me. Taken from WSASend's doumentation at MSDN: lpBuffers [in] A pointer to an array of WSABUF structures. Each WSABUF structure contains a pointer to a buffer and the length, in bytes, of the buffer. For a Winsock application, once the WSASend function is called, the system owns these buffers and the application may not access them. This array must remain valid for the duration of the send operation. Ok, can you see the bold text? That's the unclear spot! I can think of two translations for this line (might be something else, you name it): Translation 1 - "buffers" refers to the OVERLAPPED structure that I pass this function when calling it. I may reuse the object again only when getting a completion notification about it. Translation 2 - "buffers" refer to the actual buffers, those with the data I'm sending. If the WSABUF object points to one buffer, then I cannot touch this buffer until the operation is complete. Can anyone tell what's the right interpretation to that line? And..... If the answer is the second one - how would you resolve it? Because to me it implies that for each and every data/buffer I'm sending I must retain a copy of it at the sender side - thus having MANY "pending" buffers (in different sizes) on an high traffic application, which really going to hurt "scalability". Statement 1: In addition to the above paragraph (the "And...."), I thought that IOCP copies the data to-be-sent to it's own buffer and sends from there, unless you set SO_SNDBUF to zero. Statement 2: I use stack-allocated buffers (you know, something like char cBuff[1024]; at the function body - if the translation to the main question is the second option (i.e buffers must stay as they are until the send is complete), then... that really screws things up big-time! Can you think of a way to resolve it? (I know, I asked it in other words above).
