  • Correct microdata and/or microformats for real estate listings?

    Given I am running a real estate rentals listing website, what would be the correct microdata or microformats for the listing pages? There is the usual data: address, photos, price, start date, possible end date, person who is renting it out, list of amenities, description etc. Are there also microformats/microdata that can be used in the listing summary page (e.g., page that displays all listings in a particular city)?

    I was thinking about a live editing environment where code / a source file is synchronized so that, changes made by one user would be carried across to all others editing the file. Something like Google Wave, but for code. Could this kind of an environment be better for the code, as changes are shared instantly? (with revision-control, of course) Has anyone tried (or has had a need for) using a shared environment for code?

  • How do I put a url n a text file and change it to html - making it a shortcut

    I've forgotten how to do this. In Windows, you can create a new text document "blah.txt" Inside blah, you can enter a url like http://kongregate.com Then.....??? I forget this step Then you change the file extension of the file to "blah.html" When you double click the file, it acts as a shortcut/hyperlink and takes you to the url you entered in the text file. Can someone tell me what the missing step it? There is something else I need to enter with the url, but I don't know what it is.

    I can get it to read the text file until it becomes a comma delimited text file. I would like to read the two variables on each line and test each one with a If statement for another condition. Problem is I can't read the variables properly. Tried many things but here is what I will post.   • How to convert text to decimal in openoffice calc?

    I have a column which contains: € 53,28 € 1.336,0 € 69,90 € 296,50 € 899,00 € 149,90 € 697,40 and so on. I want to sum the column up, but for openoffice it is text and not a decimal. What I did: =SUBSTITUTE(F7,".","") to get rid of the the dot |€ 1336,0| =SUBSTITUTE(G7,"€","") to get rid of the euro symbol | 1336,0| =RIGHT(H7, LEN(H7)-1) to get rid of the blank |1336,0| =SUBSTITUTE(I7,",",".") to change the comma to dots |1336.0| and after that I copy the whole column and paste it as "unformatted text" only after these steps I get a number with which openoffice can work. Isn't there an easier way???

    Hi We're having issues inserting links into rich text in Sitecore 6.1.0. When a link to a sitecore item is inserted, it is outputted as: http://domain/~/link.aspx?_id=8A035DC067A64E2CBBE2662F6DB53BC5&_z=z Rather than the actual resolved url: http://domain/path/to/page.aspx This article confirms that this should be resolved in the render pipeline: in Sitecore 6 it inserts a specially formatted link that contains the Guid of the item you want to link to, then when the item is rendered the special link is replaced with the actual link to the item The pipeline has the method ShortenLinks added in web.config <convertToRuntimeHtml> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.PrepareHtml, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.ShortenLinks, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.SetImageSizes, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.ConvertWebControls, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.FixBullets, Sitecore.Kernel"/> <processor type="Sitecore.Pipelines.ConvertToRuntimeHtml.FinalizeHtml, Sitecore.Kernel"/> </convertToRuntimeHtml> So I really can't see why links are still rendering in ID format rather than as full SEO-tastic urls.   • After rich:extendedDataTable sortby, other actions are not getting executed

    I have several tabs and one of the tabs uses rich:extendedDataTable. If sortBy is clicked in the page where table is used and if I navigate to another page, it looks for the bean of the old page and throws an error saying that sortyBy of the column is undefined. E.g. If I use sortBy on userId in tab1 (where the column must have sortBy="#{data.userId}") and then I click on tab2, it looks for the data.userId and throws an error. I am using Richfaces version 3.2.2SR1. Can anyone help me on this?     I use rich domain model in my app. The basic ideas were taken there. For example I have User and Comment entities. So the question is how can I organize pagination through model data (getComments). Is there a "beatiful" method to get comments from 5 to 10, not all, as getComments returns by default.

  • Quick Outline: Navigating Your PL/SQL Packages in Oracle SQL Developer

    If you’re browsing your packages using the Connections panel, you have a nice tree navigator to click around your packages and your variable, procedure, and functions. Click, click, click all day long, click, click, click while I sing this song… But What if you drill into your PL/SQL source from the worksheet and don’t have the Tree expanded? Let’s say you’re working on your script, something like - Hmm, what goes next again? So I need to reacquaint myself with just what my beer package requires, so I’m going to drill into it by doing a DESCRIBE (via SHIFT+F4), and now I have the package open. The package is open but the tree hasn’t auto-expanded. Please don’t tell me I have to do the click-click-click thing in the tree!?! Just Open the Quick Outline Panel Do you see it? Just right click in the procedure editor – select the ‘Quick Outline’ in the context menu, and voila! The navigational power of the tree, without needing to drill down the tree itself. If I want to drill into my procedure declaration, just click on said procedure name in the Quick Outline panel. This works for both package specs and bodies. Technically you can use this for stand alone procedures and functions, but the real power is demonstrated for packages.
