Doesn't the SHA-1 algorithm was intended to produce the same hash for the same file in all OSes? Sales" End If Basically what is happening is, if a certain radio button is selected and the user didn't click the checkbox the default regions are included and they are hardcoded because the query runs much faster. if the user did click the checkbox then the textbox where they type the specific regions shows up and it will run the query that includes the dbo.B605SaleAsOfAdvancedMaster.SDESCR in (" & TextBox1.Text & ") If you can somehow do this using parameters and not with the textbox1.text in the query it will run much faster for me thanks for your help

    I am getting comfortable with using plists for initializing my app. I now want to save app state back to the plist used to initialize the app and I find myself stuck. At application startup I ingest the plist into an NSDictionary which is immutable. I now want to update the NSDictionary by replacing old values with new values for existing keys and write to the plist via [NSDictionary writeToFile:atomically]. How do I get around the immutability of NSDictionary? Thanks, Doug

  • SSIS - How do I use a resultset as input in a SQL task and get data types right?

    I am trying to merge records from an Oracle database table to my local SQL table. I have a variable for the package that is an Object, called OWell. I have a data flow task that gets the Oracle data as a SQL statment (select well_id, well_name from OWell order by Well_ID), and then a conversion task to convert well_id from a DT_STR of length 15 to a DT_WSTR; and convert well_name from a DT_STR of length 15 to DT_WSTR of length 50. That is then stored in the recordset OWell. The reason for the conversions is the table that I want to add records to has an identity field: SSIS shows well_id as a DT_WSTR of length 15, well_name a DT_WSTR of length 50. I then have a SQL task that connects to the local database and attempts to add records that are not there yet. I've tried various things: using the OWell as a result set and referring to it in my SQL statement. Currently, I have the ResultSet set to None, and the following SQL statment: Insert into WELL (WELL_ID, WELL_NAME) Select OWELL_ID, OWELL_NAME from OWell where OWELL_ID not in (select WELL.WELL_ID from WELL) For Parameter Mapping, I have Paramater 0, called OWell_ID, from my variable User::OWell. Parameter 1, called OWell_Name is from the same variable. Both are set to VARCHAR, although I've also tried NVARCHAR. I do not have a Result set. I am getting the following error: Error: 0xC002F210 at Insert records to FLEDG, Execute SQL Task: Executing the query "Insert into WELL (WELL_ID, WELL_NAME) Select OWELL..." failed with the following error: "An error occurred while extracting the result into a variable of type (DBTYPE_STR)". Possible failure reasons: Problems with the query, "ResultSet" property not set correctly, parameters not set correctly, or connection not established correctly. I don't think it's a data type issue, but rather that I somehow am not using the resultset properly. How, exactly, am I supposed to refer to that recordset in my SQL task, so that I can use the two recordset fields and add records that are missing?

In the the hint window that follows, there is the item "say()". This is because the javadoc says say_something returns a Dummy and NetBeans parsed Dummy class to know that it has a method called "say()". So far so good. My problem is with arrays. Example code follows: /** * Builds array of 2 dummy classes and returns it. * @return Array The dummy class. (*) */ function say_something2(){ return array(new Dummy(),new Dummy()); } $s=say_something2(); If I try the auto-complete thing again but with "$s[0]-" instead, I don't get the methods fro Dummy class. This is because in the JavaDoc I only said that it is an array, but not the values' type.   • Getting PDT code completion to recognise runtime return types from base class?

    Hi guys, I've got an abstract base class: abstract class BaseClass { /** * @return CLASSNAME */ public function fluent() { // do stuff return $this; } } Generally, i would put BaseClass where CLASSNAME is and all would be fine, PDT would pick up the phpdoc return type and happily autocomplete. Until, that is, I subclass BaseClass and add additional methods, and code compete on an instance of the derived class. PDT will only recognise the methods from BaseClass and not those from the derived class. What I need is something like @return self or @return this. Does PDT have such functionality? Or is there an alternate trick without having to declare these methods in every derived class?

    Hello, 1) Let's say I've a class MyDataInfo public class MyDataInfo { public int MyDataInfoID { get; set; } public string Name { get; set; } } For the purpose of the fuctionality I'm after, I've created another class (MyData) whose property members are of MyDataInfo type. 2) Here's myData public class MyData { public MyDataInfo Prop1 { get; set; } public MyDataInfo Prop2 { get; set; } } 3) And, here's my action method public ActionResult MyAction() { MyData myObject = new MyData(); return View(myObject); } 4) Finally, this in my View template (which is strongly typed and inherits from MyData) <% = Html.Encode (Model.Prop1.Name)%> <% = Html.Encode (Model.Prop2.Name)%> Unfortunately, I got an error "Object not set to an instance of an object." Am I missing something or is there a different way of obtaining the same result? Thanks for helping

    i'm trying to use the wave module to read wav files in python. whats not typical of my applications is that I'm NOT using a file or a filename to read the wav file, but instead i have the wav file in a buffer.   • How can I bind events to strongly typed datasets of different types?

    My application contains several forms which consist of a strongly typed datagridview, a strongly typed bindingsource, and a strongly typed table adapter. I am using some code in each form to update the database whenever the user leaves the current row, shifts focus away from the datagrid or the form, or closes the form. This code is the same in each case, so I want to make a subclass of form, from which all of these forms can inherit. But the strongly typed data objects all inherit from component, which doesn't expose the events I want to bind to or the methods I want to invoke. The only way I can see of gaining access to the events is to use: Type(string Name).GetEvent(string EventName).AddEventHandler(object Target,Delegate Handler) Similarly, I want to call the Update method of the strongly typed table adapter, and am using Type(string Name).GetMethod(String name, Type[] params).Invoke(object target, object[] params). It works ok, but it seems very heavy handed. Is there a better way?     Hi, I'm trying to read a file byte by byte, but I'm not sure how to do that. I'm trying to do it like that: file = open(filename, 'rb') while 1: byte = file.read(8) # Do something... So does that make the variable byte to contain 8 next bits at the beginning of every loop? It doesn't matter what those bytes really are. The only thing that matters is that I need to read a file in 8-bit stacks.

    If all browsers supported attribute selectors, we could easily do the following: input[type='text'] { font:bold 0.8em 'courier new',courier,monospace; } input[type='radio'] { margin:0 20px; } input[type='checkbox'] { border:2px solid red; But I don't think all IE versions of ^ and greater support this. I think I'd like to avoid skins. Not sure why, other than I tried them and I recall having a negative experience. It was probably my lack of knowledge. Are there any issues in using and CSS, external or otherwise? What's the best way to handle this? Currently I am assigning separate classes to each control type.

  • How to deploy a number of disparate project types?

The situation is this: I'm developing a product that needs to be deployed to a web server. It consists of 4 website projects, a background service, a couple of command-line tools, and two assemblies shared by all of these components. Now, I also happen to administer the server that this product will be deployed on. So I'm familiar with everything that may need to be done to perform an update: Copy website files Replace the service binary Install updated components in the GAC Configure IIS Update database schema After some research it seems that, to reduce deployment time and to be able to let the other sysadmins handle deployment, I want to deploy all of these as an MSI, except that I don't know a thing about installers. I know VS can generate web deployment projects, but where do I go from there? Being able to simply click Next a few times on an installer is my goal for deploying updates. It would also be nice to modularize it, so for example, I could distribute the four websites among multiple servers and have everything appear as individual components in the installer, and as one entity in Add/Remove Programs. Is all of this too much to ask in a single package?

    I used core data to do this: NSManagedObjectContext *m = [self managedObjectContext]; Foo *f = (Foo *)[NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"Foo" inManagedObjectContext:m]; f.created_at = [NSDate date]; [m insertObject:f]; NSError *error; [m save:&error]; Where the created_at field is defined as type "Date" in the xcdatamodel. When I export the sql from the sqlite database it created, created_at is defined as type "timestamp" and the values look like: 290902422.72624 Nine digits before the . and then some fraction. What is this format? It's not epoch time and it's not julianday format. Epoch would be: 1269280338.81213 julianday would be: 2455278.236746875 (notice only 7 digits before the . not 9 like I have) How can I convert a number like 290902422.72624 to epoch time? Thanks!
