• Add own search parameter in jqGrid in Asp.net mvc

  I have just started working on asp.net mvc and jqgrid. I have a calendar which returns a date, a multiselect list box and apply filter button outside of the grid. • Drupal Adding Span inside A tags in Nice Menus

  I am trying to add drop down menus to a drupal theme which uses text sliding door CSS rounding. The current version uses a primary links injection of the span into the a tags, which works fine. But doesn't support drop down menus. I have tried every angle I could find to edit the drupal function menu_item_link which is used by nice menus to build the links. E.g. I looked at the drupal forum for two days and no joy. More of than I need it to work under high loads and large amounts of data. Simplified I have 3 types of objects: Product Tag ProductTag Product: key - string key name - string .... - some other fields Tag: key - string key name - unique tag words ProductTag: product_key - foreign key referring to product tag_key - foreign key referring to tag rating - this is rating of tag for this product Each product may have 0 or many tags. Tag may be assigned to 1 or many products. Means relation between products and tags is many-to-many in terms of relational databases. Value of "rating" is updated "very" often. I need to be run the following queries Select objects by keys Select tags for product ordered by rating Select products by tag order by rating Update rating by product_key and tag_key The most important is to make these queries really fast on large amounts of data, considering that rating is constantly updated.

  I'm adding a user defined function to Excel with varargs-based signature in C++: XLFUNCTIONIMP(MyFunction)(...); When Excel calls MyFunction, it passes it 30 arguments regardless of how many the user entered in the sheet. The extraneous ones are blank strings. MyFunction, however, is designed to accept empty string arguments. As a result, I cannot tell valid empty strings apart from the extraneous ones sent by Excel. A solution could be to obtain the contents of the actual cell where the user entered the function. However, I can't find a way of doing that from within the implementation of my function. Could someone please suggest a way out?

  I'm using Clojure, so this is in the context of Java regexes. Here is an example string: "{:a "ab,cd, efg", :b "ab,def, egf,", :c "Conjecture"}" The important bits are the commas after each string. I'd like to be able to replace them with newline characters with Java's replaceAll method. A regex that will match any comma that is not surrounded by quotes will do. If I'm not coming across well, please ask and I'll be happily to clarify anything. edit: sorry for the confusion in the title. I haven't been awake very long. String: {:a "ab, cd efg",} <-- In this example, the comma at the end would be matched, but the ones inside the quote would not.

• How can I make Outlook 2007 auto BCC messages to a specific email with specific words in subject usi

  So far I have this code from outlookcode.com which I can get to work sending all emails I send to the BCC email. I am not a developer, so I don't have a lot of context to go about editing this myself, or even approaching researching this. If anyone knows how to make this check for words in the subject, or check if the subject equals a certain string, I'd really appreciate it. If there is any existing discussion that may help me, please point it out and close the question. Question: I am going to do a presentation on C# coding guidelines but it is not supposed to limit to coding standards. So I have a rough idea but I think I need to address good programing practices. So the contents will be something like this. Basic coding standards - Casing, Formatting etc. Good practices - Usage of Hashset over other data structures, String vs String Builder, String's immutability and using them effectively etc Really I would like to add more good practices (Especially to improve the performance.) So like to hear some more good practices to be used with C#. Any suggestions??? (No need of large descriptions :) Just the idea is sufficient.)

  There is a similar question on SO which suggests using NumberFormat which is what I have done. I am using the parse() method of NumberFormat. public static void main(String[] args) throws ParseException{ DecToTime dtt = new DecToTime(); dtt.decToTime("1.930000000000E+02"); } public void decToTime(String angle) throws ParseException{ DecimalFormat dform = new DecimalFormat(); //ParsePosition pp = new ParsePosition(13); Number angleAsNumber = dform.parse(angle); System.out.println(angleAsNumber); } The result I get is 1.93 I didn't really expect this to work because 1.930000000000E+02 is a pretty unusual looking number, do I have to do some string parsing first to remove the zeros? Or is there a quick and elegant way?

As far as I understand , such service should run with no problems in session mode. But , the service runs as in per call mode - each time I call AddData , constructor gets called before executing AddData and Dispose() is called after the call. Any ideas why this might be happening?

• Programatically Create Controller in Rails

  What's the best way to dynamically create a controller in Rails. I've got a class that needs to generate a bunch of controller that inherit from it. I could just create a bunch of files in /app/controllers, but they'd all be basically empty files. There's got to be a way to generate these classes dynamically and have them treated like other controllers in Rails, e.g. reloaded correctly in dev mode. I tried putting this in a config/initializer: FL.contact_types.each do |contact_type| controller_name = "#{contact_type.pluralize}Controller" Object.const_set(controller_name.to_sym, Class.new(ContactsController)) unless Object.const_defined?(controller_name.to_sym) end This worked, but I run into the dependency/reload problem and get “A copy of AuthenticatedSystem has been removed from the module tree but is still active” since the ContactsController inherits from ApplicationController which includes AuthenticatedSystem. Is creating a bunch of empty files really the best solution?

I run the project in Debug mode so a page opens in my browser where I can enter an input and invoke the method of the service.   This is what my LinearLayout (horizontal) row looks like: I want the text of the checkbox to be on one line; The buttons don't have to be that wide - they'll still have plenty of space with the checkbox text lengthened a bit. • Mongomapper query collection problem

  When I define the User has_many meetings, it automatically creates a "user_id" key/value pair to relate to the User collections. Except I can't run any mongo_mapper finds using this value, without it returning nil or []. Meeting.first(:user_id = "1234") Meeting.all(:user_id = "1234") Meeting.find(:user_id = "1234") All return nil. Is there another syntax? • MD5 file processing

  Good morning all, I'm working on an MD5 file integrity check tool in C#. How long should it take for a file to be given an MD5 checksum value? For example, if I try to get a 2gb .mpg file, it is taking around 5 mins+ each time. This seems overly long. Am I just being impatient? • can not set the bool value of app setting

  Hello everyone I use the codes below to read and write a bool value from my application: -(void)SaveAppSetting; {     NSUserDefaults *defaults=[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults];     bool b=true;     [defaults setBool:b forKey:@"AnyKey"]; [defaults synchronize]; } -(void)LoadAppSetting; {     NSUserDefaults *defaults=[NSUserDefaults standardUserDefaults];     bool b=[defaults boolForKey: @"AnyKey"] ; } I found that "LoadAppSetting" worked well, it could get the correct value of item with key "AnyKey". The function "SaveAppSetting" looked like no function, it reported no error, but it can not change value of the item with key "AnyKey". "AnyKey" setting in Setting bundle is item Dictionary Type String PSToggleSwitchSpecifier Title String AnyKey's Title Key String AnyKey DefaultValue Boolean Checked Is there any person met the same problem?
