• .Net Library for parsing source code files?

  Does anyone know of a good .NET library that allows me to parse source code files, but not only .NET source code files (like java, perl, ruby, etc)? I need programmatic access to the contents of various source code files (e.g. class/method /parameter names, types, etc.). Has anyone come across something like this? I know within .NET it is reasonably possible and there are some libraries out there, but I need that to be abstracted to more types of programming languages.

I want to fix them, but I do not know where they are because the C# compiler does not report the line of the error (there is an open MS Connect issue for that). Is there a tool, which can tell me where is the problematic code? IL level tool is fine, known the method name and declaring type is good enough.

• Java ExecutorService java heap space ptoblems

  I have a little bit of a problem in a multitasking java department. I have a class, called public class ThreadWorker implements Runnable { //some code in here public void run(){ // invokes some recursion method in the ThreadWorker itself, // which will stop eventually { } all in all, pretty simple "worker" that can work on it's on. To work with threads I'm using public static int THREAD_NUMBER = 4; public static ExecutorServide es = Executors.newFixedThreadPool(THREAD_NUMBER); adding instances of ThreadWroker class happens here: public void recursiveMethod(Arraylist<Integers> elements, MyClass data){ if (elements.size() == 0 && data.qualifies()){ ThreadWorker tw = new ThreadWorker(data); es.execute(tw); return; } for (int i=0; i< elements.size(); i++){ // some code to prevent my problem MyClass data1 = new MyClass(data); MyClass data2 = new MyClass(data); ArrayList<Integer> newElements = (ArrayList<Integer>)elements.clone(); data1.update(elements.get(i)); data2.update(-1 * elements.get(i)); newElements.remove(i); recursiveMethod(newElements, data1); recursiveMethod(newElements, data2); { } and the problem is that the depth of the recursion tree is quite big, so as it's width, so a lot of ThreadWorkers are added to the ExecutorService, so after some time on the big input a get Exception in thread "pool-1-thread-2" java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space which is caused, as I think because of a ginormous number of ThreadWorkers i'm adding to ExecutorSirvice to be executed, so it runs out of memory. Every ThreadWorker takes about 40 Mb of RAM for all it needs. Is there a method to get how many threads (instances of classes implementing runnable interface) have been added to ExecutorService? So I can add it in the shown above code (int the " // some code to prevent my problem"), as while ("number of threads in the ExecutorService" > 10){ Thread.sleep(10000); } so I won't go to deep or to broad with my recursion and prevent those exception-throwing situations. • Any porting available of backtrace for uclibc?

  We are running the uclibc linux on ARM 9. The problem is uclibc doesn't support backtrace. When a core dump happens, I cannot grab the call stack. Does anyone have a good solution for that? For example, an existing porting of backtrace for uclibc, or any good method to grab the call stack when a core dump happens (uclibc+ARM+Linux)?

  Starting just discussing the naming first ignoring tech details, lossless is a negative and double negative word for one good reason should get named more appropriate: Lossless also matches nothing. When naming like all intact or likewise matches something in a manner more physical like sounds are. Then more technically stated that a copy might contain more information than the original. Does method as such have a name, if so what do I refer to, can we name it if you please or just discuss related handling.

Sure this is possible by looping over the large array and adding arrays of length four to the new array, but I'm curious if there is some secret 'magic' Python method doing just this :)

  SA1124 DoNotUseRegions suggest that region should not be used anywhere. Is it really reasonable? I think region is a way to group relative code together and make large class easy to read, for example, if you generate interface method in for class, a region will be automatically inserted by visual studio. I would like to remove this rule while checking code style. May I know your ideal on this rule?

  Hi, I am trying an encryption-decryption code in java. When I am trying to run it with JDK and code in class with main method it is running fine. But when I am trying to run same code in Tomcat, tomcat is throwing exception: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: Algorithm HmacSHA256 not available. • determine if javascript blur/focusout event is from selecting flash or leaving browser

  In IE when I select flash, document.onfocusout is fired. When this event is fired, I would like to distinguish between selecting flash and leaving the browser. When I handle the callback, document.activeElement is the previous html element with focus (what I just left), so this is not helpful for solving this problem. Clearly there has been a change in focus to warrant calling the blur method -- is this information available somewhere? Or is there a better way to do this?

  Recently I've been trying to get some files uploaded on to my server in my HTML::Mason application. All good no problems there apparently Mason a filehandle directly in the argument. The problem is that I cannot retrieve the filename from that filehandle in a elegant way. One method of resolving this issue is parsing the filename on the client before sending it to the server and placing the extracted value in a hidden field so that it gets sent upon submit. BUT that is very unsafe!

  Hi I'm currently developing a cross-plataform virtual keyboard. In linux i was able to do whatever i want, but in Windows i'm having problems to prevent the widget to obtain the keyboard focus. In linux, using the window flag Qt::X11BypassWindowManagerHint the widget never gets the keyboard input, but of course, that flag does not work on Windows Is there something equivalent to that flag or some method i can use instead? any ideas would be appreciated thanks in advance

  I've got a HashSet with a bunch of (you guessed it) integers in it. I want to turn it into an array, but calling hashset.toArray(); returns an array of Object type. This is fine, but is there a better way to cast it to an array of int, other than iterating through every element manually? A method I want to pass it to void doSomething(int[] arr) Won't accept the Object[] array, even if I try casting it like doSomething((int[]) hashSet.toArray());

  I have few custom controls (image views) added programmatically to table cell. I want to hide them when table view goes into editing mode and show them again when view gets out of editing mode. I'm not using UITableViewCell subclasses, controls are added through tableView:cellForRowAtIndexPath: method. When and where should I do the hide/show? I'm wondering is this even possible without subclassing (where I could do this in layoutSubviews)...
