  • how to import Java class with Python using Eclipse?

    Hi, I'm trying to write Jython where the Python file imports classes from Java I'm using Eclipse with PyDev. My Python code looks like: from eclipsejavatest import eclipseJavaTest from eclipsejavatest import JavaClass class eclipsePyPrint(eclipseJavaTest): def eclipsepyMain(self): print "python main method" eclipseJavaTest.printerCount(4) print eclipseJavaTest.gotoPython() eclipseJavaTest.printerSentence() samplepyClass = JavaClass("Jython plain") samplepyClass.setName("jython fancy") print samplepyClass.getName() but I'm getting the error ImportError: No module named eclipsejavatest The Python project references the Java project. I've tried exporting the Java project and adding the .jar to the Jython Class Path for the Python project. I'm not sure what to do to get this to work.

  • Restoring web reference in Visual Studio 2008

    I had a web reference set in my VS2008 ASP.NET project, but due to some source control weirdness it is no longer listed in the project. I have the set of files in the Web References folder under my project. There's a .wsdl, .disco and several .datasource files. Is there any way to re-add this web reference through the existing files rather than using the "Add Web Reference" dialog?

I create a slide with : using PowerPoint = Microsoft.Office.Interop.PowerPoint; using Microsoft.Office.Interop.Graph; Microsoft.Office.Interop.Graph.Chart objChart; objChart = (Microsoft.Office.Interop.Graph.Chart)objShape.OLEFormat.Object;` The chart is create on the slide but i can't access to the data to update or insert. I have try with the Datasheet like below : //DataSheet test = objChart.Application.DataSheet; //test.Cells.Clear() This delete the data of the chart but i dont find a solution to insert values in the chart data after.     I got vcproj file from QMake (qmake -tp vc win32.pro), and when I run it with msbuild (msbuild for VS 2010), I get the following error. MSBUILD : error MSB4192: The project file ".\win32.vcproj" is in the ".vcproj" or ".dsp" file format , which MSBuild cannot build directly. Please convert the project by opening it in the Visual Studio IDE or running the conversion tool, or, for ".vcproj", use MSBuild to build the solution file conta ining the project instead. I'd like to run the conversion tool for getting VS2010 project file. What's the tool for it?

  • Starting a code library.

    Hi, I've been meaning to start a library of reusable code snippets for a while and never seem to get round to it. I think my main problems are: Where to start. What structure should my library take? Should it be a compiled library (where appropriate or just classes I can drop into any project? Or a library project that can be included? In my experience, a built library will quickly become out of date and the source will get lost. So I'm leaning towards source libraries that I can export from SVN and include in any project. Intellectual property. I am employeed, so a lot of the code I write is not my IP. How can I ensure that I don't give my own IP away using it on projects in work and at home? I'm thinking the best way would be to licence my library with an open source licence and make sure I only add to it in my own time using my own equipment and therefore making sure that if I use it in a work project the same rules apply as if I was using a third party library. I write in many different languages and often would require two or more parts of this library. Should I look at implementing a few template projects and a core project for each of my chosen reusable components and languages? Has anyone else got this sort of library and how do you organise and update it?

    I want to change my repository from bazaar to git. I installed Git (winXP) and tortoise with no problem, I set path variables, etc... I have initialized my repository with: git init copied it using cd .. git clone --bare project.git uploaded it to FTP, and when trying to access: git clone *ftp_address* Initialized empty Git repository in D:/project/.git/ Password: error: Access denied: 530 while accessing *ftp_address*/info/refs fatal: HTTP request failed I checked and .../project.git/info/refs does not exists. What am I missing? thanks PD: *ftp_address* = 'ftp://user%[email protected]/git/project.git'
