• Map works, but throws a popup error at load complainig about wrong api key

  Ok, I see a lot of people have this problem, but none answer I found either here or at stackoverflow. Problem: Map works super fine! But throws an error at load "This map needs a different api key... sign up at......" Already signed up, already got a key. On some forum post a guy told that in this case map loads twice, once with the wrong key, another with the right one. But Im sure my app loads it once and with the correct key. URL: http://ki.org.ua/ (it will redirect to /projects but I think that it aint a problem cuz i tested without redirection too) Thanks in advance for any suggestion or help.

• How do I log the raw HTTP headers with a PHP script?

  I'm using a cURL script to send POST data through a proxy to a script and I want to see what raw HTTP headers the cURL script is sending. List of things I've tried: echo curl_getinfo($ch, CURLINFO_HEADER_OUT) gives no output. file_get_contents('php://input') gets some HTTP headers but not all. print_r($_SERVER) also gets some HTTP headers but not all (I know this because there should be a X-Forwarded-For header and there isn't) Printing all superglobals ($_POST, $_GET, $_REQUEST, $_FILES etc) still doesn't show the raw HTTP headers. http_get_request_headers(), apache_request_headers(), $http_response_header, $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA aren't outputting everything. Help?

• Question marks in Java generics.

  I tried to make sure this wasn't a duplicate post, sorry if I was blind. This is a small snippet of code taken from some of the examples that accompany the Stanford Parser. I've been developing in Java for about 4 years, but have never had a very strong understanding of what this style of code is supposed to indicate. List<? extends HasWord> wordList = toke.tokenize(); I'm not worried about the details of the code. What I'm confusing about is what exactly the generic expression is supposed to convey, in English. Can someone explain this to me? Thanks!

  Hello, Please see: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I successfully integrated a [Like] button in my website using this link. On the developers website, when I click the [Like] button, a popup appears telling this: You like this. Share it on Facebook with a comment... [ ] [Post to Facebook] [Cancel] On my website, there is no such popup. I tested both iframe and FBML versions. Does anyone has a solution, or is this feature only reserved for www.facebook.com ? • Display username to logged in user only?

  I have a Wordpress blog set up to display comments as "Anonymous User" by hard coding it into the comments.php file. I would like to have it say the user's Username next to their comment and ONLY display that Username to THEM. In other words, if they're a guest, they'll see "Anonymous User" and if they're a registered/logged in DIFFERENT user, they'll still see "Anonymous User", but if it's THEIR comment it'll say "Your Comment" or their own username. Already have a team of admins savvy with web apps to help manage it but our developer resources are limited (3-4 programmers) and looking to save time in development as opposed to building our new site from scratch.

• jquery ajax calls with scope safety

  My gut tells me that if i am on a laggy server and the user fires two events fast enough on the success function c will be the value of the most recent event causing func1 to use the wrong value. <--- This is a guess, i haven't proved it. Its a feeling. How do i ensure that i use the right value when calling func1? I prefer not to send c to the server and i dont know if or how to serialize the data and deserialize it back. • Insert date and time into Mysql

  Hi..guys I am trying to insert date and time into mysql datetime field. When a user select a date and time, it will generate two POST variables. I have searched internet but still not sure how to do it. My code. //date value is 05/25/2010 //time value is 10:00 $date=$_POST['date']; $time=$_POST['time']; $datetime=$date.$time If I insert $datetime into mysql, the date appears to be 0000-00-00:00:00:00 I appreciate it if anyone could help me about this. • Can I use GNU Screen completely transparently/automatically?

  Screen is amazing, of course, but I don't want to have to think about it. I often ssh to a machine, start doing a bunch of stuff, and then think "gosh, I wish I had thought to start a screen session before doing all that so I could reconnect to this from home later". I'd like to have screen automatically started whenever I log in to a machine. And when I get disconnected, I want to be able to immediately and simply reconnect without fussing with "screen -ls" and "screen -dr". I have a script that implements one solution to this problem which I'll post as an answer. I'm interested to see other approaches.

  I have join a table joining songs to genres. The table has a 'source' column that's used to identify where the genre was found. Genres are found from blogs, artists, tags, and posts. So, songs | song_genre | genres id | song_id, source, genre_id | id What I want to build is a song SELECT query that works something like this, given I already have a genre_id: IF exists song_genre with source='artist' AND a song_genre with source='blog' OR exists song_genre with source='artist' AND a song_genre with source='post' OR exists song_genre with source='tag' I'm was going to do it by doing a bunch of joins, but am sure I'm not doing it very well. • Unable to send Url in a Form field

  I am facing a problem while submitting a simple HTML form. Here is the form: <form name="form1" method="post" action="dest.php"> <input type="hidden" name="my_url" value="http://www.livrotek.com/book_image/thumb/12726851341.jpg" /> </form> When I submit this form, I get an apache error: You don't have permission to access dest.php on this server. If I change the value of "my_url" field to any value other than a URL, then it works fine.

• HTML/Javascript disabled and then reenabled checkbox is being POSTED

  I have a page with a checkbox that is disabled/reenabled with javascript on button click. If I never disable the checkbox then its value is correctly POSTed, however if I disable the checkbox even once it gets posted without value (posts as "name=" even when checked). I have inspected the POST value through firebug. Why does it behaves like this? Am I missing something? I ve read somewhere that disabled controls are not posted, thats OK, but this control is not disabled when the submit is clicked. I am using ASP.NET with more complex setup to test this, but essentially this is the core of the problem. The brower is FF latest. I found very similar question, however without an answer: disabled control being reenabled but still not posting back contents to server

• Long URLs (Bitly and TinyURL)

  I'm sitting with a problem where I need to pass more than 2000 characters from my Flash application to an HTML page which reads the information and displays the correct options made in the Flash app the person came from. All's good but on the final stage, when the user needs to post their choices to a form, the character cannot be sent because the string is too long. Is there a way to use a service such as Bitly or TinyURL to send these long string and for them to be "deconstruction" on the other end when the form is sent? Otherwise, is there another solution to this problem? Many thanks!

• VB.NET: SQLite to MSSQL

  I have a vb.net project that uses a SQLite database. I do this by using dataset/table adapters. The client is happy and all works well. However I have just heard that they plan on providing this product to another customer that wishes to use their MSSQL database. So I am writing this post so I can mentally prepare for this before I begin. I am not a database pro and have really enjoyed the simplicity of setting up and managing an SQLite database. So any ideas on the easiest way to support MSSQL as well? I am happy to run them parallel to each other. Can I just make a separate service / middleware that syncs the SQLite database to the MSSQL on a timer and does not care about what the main app is up to? Any pointers are appreciated.

  I know very well about the traditional arguments about why Interface Inheritance is prefered to multiple inheritance, there has been already a post here : http://stackoverflow.com/questions/191691/should-c-include-multiple-inheritance But according to Stroustrup the real reason why Microsoft and Sun decided to get rid off multiple inheritance is that they have vested interest to do so: instead of putting features in the languages, they put in frameworks so that people then become tied to their platform instead of people having the same capability at a language standard level. What do you think ? Why Sun and Microsoft consider developers too immature to just make the choice themselves ?

• Can I learn the iPhone SDK and complete an app by September?

  Hi everyone, I'm wondering if it's realistically possible to learn the iPhone SDK and complete an app by the end of this summer. The app shouldn't be too difficult, it would just interact with my site's API and essentially just fetch, create, and edit resources. I already have a little experience with the SDK (and I'm comfortable with Objective-C), so I'm not completely new to it. Although here I things I don't know how to do and what I'd need to learn: Log in to my site using basic http authentication and store the user's username/password for all future requests Implement a toolbar at the bottom to navigate between different views Fetch and parse xml into list items Do POST/PUT requests to create/edit a resource on my server Are there any good resources available to learn how to do those tasks above? • python packaging problem

  hi expert, I develop code in python to scan wifi and send to the server, it's working fine when executed manually, but i packaged it via http://www.python-packager.com by uploading my .py file and they create package for me as deb file for linux, and i download it and install the package but nothing happen when i click the .exe or set it as startup application. Why does this happen? Nothing is printed in the terminal. In .py file i'm having print statement to check manually to list out the wifi scan value, data to post to the server, response from the server once send. How this can be solved? thanks

  I am trying to add additional form data by using https://github.com/blueimp/jQuery-File-Upload/wiki/How-to-submit-additional-form-data this tutorial for jQuery-File-Upload plugin in my Rails app. I'm following the instructions for Setting formData on upload start for each individual file upload. My problem is, after saving the files with their titles as explained in tutorial, I cannot show them in the final table, because I don't know how to reach the formData's values.   1) Uploadimage action gets requests from form posts. <form action="/content/uploadimage" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> It reads HttpPostedFileBase stream data and sends it to the response. I need to show the image in a div container instead of sending it to the response as a file so that users can manipulate the image using jcrop. Image source is generated at runtime. I can't pass an action name to the src attribute. Is this possible using MVC and without using control viewstate? 2) I don't want to use flash or silverlight. Is there an easy ajax alternative to the method I use to get files from user?
