  Hi, How can I do long-polling using netty framework? Say for example I fetch http://localhost/waitforx but waitforx is asynchronous because it has to wait for an event? Say for example it fetches something from a blocking queue(can only fetch when data in queue). When getting item from queue I would like to sent data back to client. Hopefully somebody can give me some tips how to do this. Many thanks

  I used Python to generate a CSV file. But when I open it in Excel, Excel will auto recognize a string into a number if it could be converted. e.g.33E105, which is actually an ID, not a number. How to disable this in Excel while opening a CSV file? Or I need to resort to a excel-python library to output a excel file and specify the format myself? Thanks!

  I'm trying to paste chinese text into terminal but I just get lots of numbers instead. if I quickly paste as soon as terminal loads the paste will work that once but not again? Its utf-8 unicode i'm using. I dont think its the font as it works in textedit the only place I get the problem is in terminal but I need to use it to make my sqlite database. Then, next time when the same user logs in and searches for data, I want him to edit only new text in multiline TextBox, not removing or replacing previously entered text.   Hello all, Just trying out Postgresql for the first time, coming from MySQL. In our Rails application we have a couple of locations with SQL like so: SELECT * FROM `currency_codes` ORDER BY FIELD(code, 'GBP', 'EUR', 'BBD', 'AUD', 'CAD', 'USD') DESC, name ASC It didn't take long to discover that this is not supported/allowed in Postgresql.
