  • eclipse show errors but compiles when external makefile

    I have some c++ code using CImg and Eigen libraries. At the c++ code I define a plugin like this #define cimg_plugin1 "my_plugin.h" #include "CImg.h" The plugin contains many method definitions that are used at the c++ code. I also have a makefile that when called from the command line (./make), allows me to compile everything, and generates an executable. I want to import this code into a new Eclipse project, and I do it so: NewProjectC++ projectmakefile projectempty project unmark "Use default location", and select the folder containing my code at the filesystem ProjectpropertiesC/C++ Buildunmark "Use default build command" and set it to use my makefile Also in project propertiesC/C++ GeneralPaths and SymbolsAdd paths to folders containing Eigen and CImg Rebuild index Clean project Restart eclipse When I build the project, eclipse tells me I have more than 1000 errors in "my_plugin.h", but it is capable to generate the executable. Even though, I would like to get rid of this errors, because they are annoying. Also, if I want to open the declaration of CImg methods used at the plugin, I can't. I know it has been asked before, but any of the solutions I found were satisfactory for me (most of them enumerated at the previous list). The sources I visited are the following, and I would be really happy if you find and tell me others I didn't see. Well I've looked up several methods to fix this in my Windows Phone 7 app but I can't seem to find anything that works. What confuses me is that I've done something just like this before with no problem, so I'm not sure why it's not working. The code causing me the problem is this: if (appSettings.Contains("image")) { myImage.Source = (string)appSettings["image"]; } else { myImage.Source = "default.jpg"; } The error I get is this "Cannot implicitly convert type 'string' to 'System.Windows.Media.ImageSource". The reason this confuses me is because I did this Twitter app tutorial: http://weblogs.asp.net/scottgu/archive/2010/03/18/building-a-windows-phone-7-twitter-application-using-silverlight.aspx , in which you bind the image source directly to a string. So what can I do to remedy this?

  • Copying 2D lists in python

    Hi I want to copy a 2D list, so that if I modify 1 list, the other is not modified. For 1 D list, I just do this: a = [1,2] b = a[:] And now if I modify b, a is not modified. But this doesn't work for 2D list: a = [[1,2],[3,4]] b = a[:] If I modify b, a gets modified as well. How do I fix this?

I got this problem and I couldnt find any another process.Other c# programmes are working properly.I changed the place which I haved saved first time, but I couldnt get any clue to find the error.

    I'm using Protobuf-net. Suppose I have a list of Gizmo objects serialized and that each gizmo object reference a Gazoo object. The Gazoo object might be the same object referred by several Gizmo objects. How would deserialization work in this situation? Would I get more than one copies of Gazoos for the same referred one in the gizmo objects? What I would expect would be one copy of Gazoo for all the duplicates in the serialized data.

A little bit more details, we develop on local machines, and then we need to transfer the code and database changes to production (pretty much standard story).   • Getting a seg fault, having trouble with classes and variables.

    Ok, so I'm still learning the ropes of C++ here so I apologize if this is a simple mistake. I have this class: class RunFrame : public wxFrame { public: RunFrame(); void OnKey(wxKeyEvent& keyEvent); private: // Configuration variables. const wxString *title; const wxPoint *origin; const wxSize *size; const wxColour *background; const wxColour *foreground; const wxString *placeholder; // Control variables. wxTextCtrl *command; // Event table. DECLARE_EVENT_TABLE() }; ...then in the OnKey method I have this code: void RunFrame::OnKey(wxKeyEvent& keyEvent) { // Take the key and process it. if(WXK_RETURN == keyEvent.GetKeyCode()) { bool empty = command -> IsEmpty(); } // Propogate the event through. keyEvent.Skip(); } ...but my program keeps seg faulting when it reaches the line where I attempt to call the IsEmpty method from the command variable. My question is, "Why?" In the constructor of the RunFrame class I can seemingly call methods for the command variable in the same way I'm doing so in the OnKey method...and it compiles correctly, it just seg faults on me when it attempts to execute that line.     Hey all, I've got a little problem on a goDaddy server. I have a php script (ajaxCRUD) in which there's an upload field, and I can't get it to accept file over the default limit. I always get this (when I output the $_FILE[$fieldname]) : array(5) { ["name"]=> string(13) "children2.mp3" ["type"]=> string(0) "" ["tmp_name"]=> string(0) "" ["error"]=> int(1) ["size"]=> int(0) } Things I tried : Added a parameter in the HTML form ([...]name="MAX_FILE_SIZE" value="10000000"[...]) Changed the php5.ini at the root of the server, to no avail. After a phpinfo(), no differences are seen, even though the phpinfo clearly indicate it is reading the same php5.ini : [...]/html/php5.ini. Here is what I added in this file : upload_tmp_dir = ./temp upload_max_filesize = 20M Anything under 2M (the default value) is okay, so there's no problem with the upload path or file permission. I don't have any more idea for the moment, do any of you has one?

  • Using jQuery with Windows 8 Metro JavaScript App causes security error

    Since it sounded like jQuery was an option for Metro JavaScript apps, I was starting to look forward to Windows 8 dev. I installed Visual Studio 2012 Express RC and started a new project (both empty and grid templates have the same problem). I made a local copy of jQuery 1.7.2 and added it as a script reference. <!-- SomeTestApp references --> <link href="/css/default.css" rel="stylesheet" /> <script src="/js/jquery-1.7.2.js"></script> <script src="/js/default.js"></script> Unfortunately, as soon as I ran the resulting app it tosses out a console error: HTML1701: Unable to add dynamic content ' a' A script attempted to inject dynamic content, or elements previously modified dynamically, that might be unsafe. For example, using the innerHTML property to add script or malformed HTML will generate this exception. Use the toStaticHTML method to filter dynamic content, or explicitly create elements and attributes with a method such as createElement. For more information, see http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=247104. I slapped a breakpoint in a non-minified version of jQuery and found the offending line: div.innerHTML = " <link/><table></table><a href='/a' style='top:1px;float:left;opacity:.55;'>a</a><input type='checkbox'/>"; Apparently, the security model for Metro apps forbids creating elements this way. This error doesn't cause any immediate issues for the user, but given its location, I am worried it will cause capability-discovery tests in jQuery to fail that shouldn't. I definitely want jQuery $.Deferred for making just about everything easier. I would prefer to be able to use the selector engine and event handling systems, but I would live without them if I had to. How does one get the latest jQuery to play nicely with Metro development?

I then copy the result to the query editor window and run all those execs. How do I do this all at once? Maybe my setup will be unusual for Emacs world, as I'm not using SLIME/swank-clojure, but Emacs + eshell with running clojure REPL in it, mostly due simplicity (or probably because SLIME quite scares me off :D). So, maybe there is a Emacs guru that can help me here: does exists any shortcut (or maybe some elisp sample) to copy/paste code chunks (sexps) from editing buffer to eshell (and possibly execute it)?     I have a simple program that creates a thread, loops twenty times and then makes a call to close itself and perform the necessary cleanup. When I debug the program it reaches the ExitThread(); method and pauses, ignoring the printf(); I have set up after it to signal to me it's closed. Is this normal or am I forgetting to do something?     Hi, I am porting an existing application from Linq to SQL to Entity Framework 4 (default code generation). One difference I noticed between the two is that a foreign key property are not updated when resetting the object reference. Now I need to decide how to deal with this. For example supposing you have two entity types, Company and Employee. One Company has many Employees. In Linq To SQL, setting the company also sets the company id: var company=new Company(ID=1); var employee=new Employee(); Debug.Assert(employee.CompanyID==0); employee.Company=company; Debug.Assert(employee.CompanyID==1); //Works fine! In Entity Framework (and without using any code template customization) this does not work: var company=new Company(ID=1); var employee=new Employee(); Debug.Assert(employee.CompanyID==0); employee.Company=company; Debug.Assert(employee.CompanyID==1); //Throws, since CompanyID was not updated! How can I make EF behave the same way as LinqToSQL? I had a look at the default code generation T4 template, but I could not figure out how to make the necessary changes.

  • SharePoint Add New Item Button on Home Page

    I'm building a bulletin board site (in 2010) and I'm sure this must be simple but again it doesn't seem so. Anyway on my default page I have a query webpart showing the latest items and what I need is just a button at the top of the page "Add new item" which would show the popup and allow users to complete the form just like it works on the display list items form. I've looked at AllItems.aspx but can't even see the "Add new item" button to copy! Any ideas? Thanks Dan

  • JSon/Jquery request with a setTimeout always returns a "null" result? (for Twitter Search API)

    I make a call to the twitter API. 100 posts are retreived + a properties that tells me what the next page to call is. So I wait 5 sec. and call that next page, but the JSon results in the callback function is always null the second time... I think it's probably a JQuery problem...
