• What kind of bad things would happen if you write the whole class in a single file in C++?

  In C# or Java, class are declared and defined at the same time. In C++, the norm is to write .h and .cpp files separately. What if, we write the whole class in one , say .cpp, file and include that with include guards and stuffs in files that references to it, what kinds of bad thing technically would happen?

WebKit and its associated GTK+ port seem to do the opposite - making applications more Web-friendly, but the opposite would also be nice. • Is it possible to Load hbm.xml info at app startup instead of via an embedded resource?

  All of the NHibernate examples I've see that use hbm files have the hbm.xml file set as an embedded resource with "do not copy" chosen in the file properties. This means that if a database column name were to change in production, the app would have to be recompiled with the changes in the hbm.xml file during build time. Is there any way to make NHibernate load the hbm.xml files from the file system at application startup instead of using an embedded version?

  Does anybody know a tool, preferably for the Explorer context menu, to recursively change the encoding of files in a project from / to UTF-8 and other encodings? Freeware or not too expensive would be great. Although ssh works fine for executing commands like ls, pwd, etc editors do not work well with my screen reader and an ssh session. I was wondering if it is possible to mount a Linux folder over ssh so it appears as a windows drive? This way I could edit any files I needed to with accessible software and not have to constantly use SCP to send files back and fourth.
