    Greetings, Can anyone tell me how the heck I'm meant to use a maven repository or whatever the term is with a project? I've downloaded the OAuth library from Google. I run mvn compile, test, install, deploy I want to know where the Jar goes so I can just put it into my class path. Any help appreciated!

  • how to know which special character is there in a file?

    My app needs to process text files during a batch process. Occassionally I receive a file with some special character at the end of the file. I am not sure what that special character is. Is there anyway I can find what that character is so that I can tell the other team which is producing that file. I have used mozilla's library to guess the file encoding and it says UTF-8.

  • Web application starter kit

    I am looking for a site that allows you to input a project name, choose a doctype, a js library etc. and then generates the directory structure and files to start a web project. I know about project deploy, but it is no longer maintained. There was a new one that was created within the last 2 or 3 months, but for the life of me I can't find it either through Google nor my delicious bookmarks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.     Can anyone recommend a plugin or library that allows people to upload images which automatically gets cropped and resized? I don't mind editting some config files to specify how images should be cropped and resized. Additionally, after uploading, the front end user should be able to drag and drop for re-ordering. Can someone recommend something that works with php?

  • Flex/Air/AS3 Selecting and Populating a unFocused tab.

    I'm having a problem displaying data from a function to text box within a tab. If you run the code and click "Select Tab 2 and Fill..." I get an error; "TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference." I'm guessing this is because "Tab 2" is/was not rendered yet. Now if I run the code, select "Tab 2" then select "Tab 1" and click "Select Tab 2 and Fill..." it works the way I would like.   • Android : Typeface is changed when i apply password Type on EditText

    I use FloatLabel library (https://github.com/weddingparty/AndroidFloatLabel) to add a little animation when user begin to write something in an EditText Android. My problem is that the typeface seems to be changed when i apply the password type to my EditText. I would like to keep the same typeface as normal. (see picture 1) But when i add the following line to apply password type, the typeface of hint seems to be changed ! pass.getEditText().setInputType(InputType.TYPE_CLASS_TEXT | InputType.TYPE_TEXT_VARIATION_PASSWORD);

    Is there a free or open source library to read Excel files (.xls) directly from a C# program? It does not need to be too fancy, just to select a worksheet and read the data as strings. So far, I've been using Export to Unicode text function of Excel, and parsing the resulting (tab-delimited) file, but I'd like to eliminate the manual step.

    I know the .NET framework and WPF pretty well, but I think the whole thing has gotten too blown up, especially for small apps as the whole .NET framework 3.5 weighs 197 MB by now. I am looking for a language/framework/library that provides functionality similar to that of WPF (animations, gradients, a.s.o.) and the .NET framework (of course not everything, but the basic features) and which is faster and more lightweight than the .NET framework and creates smaller and faster applications than the ones using .NET. Do you have any suggestions?

    I've found, via Google, numerous people asking the same question, but no solutions. The Python Image Library (PIL) has tools for stepping through an already existing multi-page TIFF, but nothing about creating them. Libraries would hopefully be available on Windows, for Python 2.6. If there's some freeware out there which will do the trick, I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I was hoping I could accomplish this in Python.
