    I would like to write myself a pretty printer for java using bison and flex. I have written a pretty printer for a script language, but I was only writing visitors, which made the printing. How can I turn a program using my formal grammar into a tree of nodes (made using C++ classes), that afterwards I could visit using my visitor? Maybe you could give me some link with an example of this? What i need to put into flex/bison files?

  • Python 2.6 -> Python 3 (ProxyHandler)

    Hallo, I wrote a script that works with a proxy (py2.6x): proxy_support = urllib2.ProxyHandler({'http' : 'http://127.0.0.1:80'}) But in py3.11x there is no urllib2 just a urllib... and that doesnt support the ProxyHandler How can I use a proxy with urllib? Isnt Python 3 newer then Python 2? Why did they remove urllib2 in a newer version?

    I am new to grep and awk - using Windows 7 (I downloaded grep and awk for windows from GnuWin). I am have having trouble running this script: grep -Fwf dictionary.txt frequency.txt | awk '{print $2 "," $1}' I get the error: awk: '{print awk: ^ invalid char ''' in expression I believe it might have something to do with having to use double quotes in Windows, but I tried all the combinations I can think of and still it doesn't work. Can anyone help? Thanks

Notes: I've already found SLOCCount which seems quite nice. It requires Cygwin. Yes, I can wrote a simple script for basic information but I'm looking for something more complex.   • ASP.NET MVC - PartialView html not changing via jQuery html() call

    When I change the selection in a DropDownList, a PartialView gets updated via a GET request. When updating the PartialView via the jQuery html() function, the html returned is correct but when it displayed in the browser it is not correct. For example, certain checkboxes within the PartialView should become enabled but they remain disabled even though the html returned says they should be. When I do a view source in the browser the html never gets updated. I'm a little perplexed. Thoughts? After the program has finished in the dos prompt I would like python to delete the dir. I have just made a simple solution of putting a delay of 30sec: time.sleep(30) removeall(workdir) os.rmdir(workdir) But how should I do it, if python should delete the dir right after the process has finished?

  • Launching matlab remotely on windows via ssh? Impossible?

    Howdy, I am trying to run matlab remotely on windows via OpenSSH installed with Cygwin, but launching matlab in windows without the GUI seems to be impossible. If i am logged in locally, I can launch matlab -nodesktop -nodisplay -r script, and matlab will launch up a stripped down GUI and do the command. However, this is impossible to do remotely via ssh, as, matlab needs to display the GUI. Does anyone have any suggestions or work arounds? Thanks, Bob

    i want to write program, in windows, which will write a .sh file, then connect to a linux machine via cygwin and ssh, and execute that .sh file. I've had to use dos2unix to convert .sh files that I created in windows to run under linux. Obviously if I am executing a script with ssh it will have to be linux formatted to work. so I need to know how to create a linux appropriate .sh file using c or openoffice basic or vBA. thanks!
