• Email Validation from WTForm using Flask

  I'm following a Flask tutorial from http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/intro-to-flask-adding-a-contact-page--net-28982 and am currently stuck on the validation step: The old version had the following: from flask.ext.wtf import Form, TextField, TextAreaField, SubmitField, validators, ValidationError class ContactForm(Form): name = TextField("Name", [validators.Required("Please enter your name.")]) email = TextField("Email", [validators.Required("Please enter your email address."), validators.Email("Please enter your email address.")]) submit = SubmitField("Send") Reading the comments I updated it to this: (replaced validators.Required with InputRequired) (same fields) class ContactForm(Form): name = TextField("Name", validators=[InputRequired('Please enter your name.')]) email = EmailField("Email", validators=[InputRequired("Please enter your email address.")]), validators.Email("Please enter your email address.")]) submit = SubmitField("Send") My only issue is I don't know what to do with the validators.Email. The error message I get is: NameError: name 'validators' is not defined I've looked over the documentation, perhaps I didn't delve deep enough but I can't seem to find an example for email validation.

  SQL Server XML Schema Collection is an interesting concept and I find it very useful when designing dynamic data content. However as I work my way through implementing Schema Collections, I find it very difficult to maintain them. Schema Collection DDL allows only CREATE and ALTER/ADD nodes to existing schemes. CREATE XML SCHEMA COLLECTION [ <relational_schema>. ]sql_identifier AS 'XSD Content' ALTER XML SCHEMA COLLECTION [ <relational_schema>. ]sql_identifier ADD 'Schema Component' When you want to remove any node from a schema you have to issue following DDL's. If that schema collection assigned to a table column, you have to alter table to remove schema collection association from that column Drop the schema collection object Re-Create schema collection Alter table column to re-associate schema collection to that column. This is pain when it comes to 100+ of schemes in a collection. Also you have to re-create XML indexes all over again, if any. Any solutions, suggestions, tricks to make this schema collection object editing process easier?

  We are integrating a third party SOAP web services in our application. The WSDL is used with SOAPUI tool, where sample requests and responses worked fine. When we try to integrate with apache Axis 1.3, where we tried WSDL2JAVA with the WSDL. • Cucumber response object -- PHP environment

  Hi, I'm using Cucumber to test a PHP application, and while most everything works without issue, I haven't yet figured out how to retrieve a response object for a request -- I'm looking to test whether a response is successful (code 200) and also to perform some Hpricot parsings of the response body. Right now my env.rb file is pretty simple: require 'webrat' include Webrat::Methods include Webrat::Matchers Webrat.configure do |config| config.mode = :mechanize end And if I put something like this in my step definitions: Given /Debug/ do puts response.to_yaml end I get this error: undefined method `response' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError) ./features/step_definitions/webrat_steps.rb:11:in `/Debug/' features/versions.feature:4:in `Given Debug' Is anyone familiar with this type of situation? best, Jacob

• Pushing a ABUnknownPersonViewController onto a navigation controller results in having no Navigation

  Hi There, I'm working with the Address Book UI API on iPhone SDK 3.0. I want to present to the user the ability to create a new user, or add to an existing one, so I am using the ABUnknownPersonViewController. I have an existing navigation stack (with only 2 other views on it). Trouble is when I push the ABUnknownPersonViewController onto it, it shows up animated, etc. But there is no navigation bar, so no way to cancel. My code snippet is as follows newPersonViewController = [[ABUnknownPersonViewController alloc] init]; newPersonViewController.unknownPersonViewDelegate = self; newPersonViewController.displayedPerson = person; newPersonViewController.allowsAddingToAddressBook = YES; newPersonViewController.allowsActions = NO; [[self navigationController] pushViewController:newPersonViewController animated:YES]; Note: the current view controller does have a title, so that's not the issue. Any ideas what I am missing?

  I am trying to implement InApp purchase in my application. I have implemented it as per Apple's programming guide and it(code) was working fine until I created new application, appid, provisioning profile and in-app products @ another developer account. Now, it gives me following error. Error Domain=SKErrorDomain Code=3 UserInfo=0x2a5a00 "Cannot connect to iTunes Store" Same code works fine if I use previous developer account's appid, pro-certificate and product ids. This is very strange issue, I double checked product id names and other things still facing same error. Any clue..?

• webclient methods not available to my Silverlight application

I can not find any reference to this issue on the web, and I had something similar to this working last month, but in a regular ASP.NET page, not in a Silverlight app.

• Netbeans not Deploying/Debugging

  Hello all, I have this problem, it's the second time it happens to me, I'm using the NB IDE 6.9.1 and after a while I was working fine, but then It stopped deploying my webapp when debugging or running the application, I don't recall messing with the ant build scripts or any strange configurations, it successfully builds the dist folder and *.war file and I am able to deploy it manually, but when I run it through the IDE it deletes the webapp folder webapps/myapp,so I cannot debug it or run it, all I get is ClassNotFoundException for my servlets. I am unsure of what extra information would help to solve this issue Its pretty annoying, I don't know how it got solved the last time, it just "went away" any help is truly appreciated.

• Problem using Winforms WebBrowser control as editor

  I am currently working on a project where I am using a WebBrowser control as an editor. I have design mode turned on and it seems to be working. The issue im having is when I try to save the Document and load another it pops up the "This document has been modified." message. What I am trying to do is as simple as this if (frontPage) { frontPage = false; frontContent = webEditor.DocumentText; webEditor.DocumentText = backContent; } else { frontPage = true; backContent = webEditor.DocumentText; webEditor.DocumentText = frontContent; } Like I said everytime I enter some text and run this code it just pops up a message saying its been modified and asks if I want to save. How can I get around this?

  Hey Guys, I was wondering if you could share best practices and common mistakes when it comes to making large numbers of time-sensitive web service calls. In my case, I have a SOAP and an XML-RPC based web service to which I'm constantly making calls. I predict that this will soon become an issue as the number of calls per second will grow. On a higher level, I was thinking of batching those calls and submitting those to the web services every 100 ms. Could you share what else works? On a lower level side of the things, I use Apache Xml-Rpc client and standard javax.xml.soap.* packages for my client implementations.   Very similar question to this one... http://stackoverflow.com/questions/522521/autocomplete-for-combobox-in-wpf-anywhere-in-text-not-just-beginning but my issue is for windows-forms rather than WPF. I have a winforms databound combox working great with autocomplete list coming from the data items in the combobox. Of course the client wants it to work "better", and that means that they want the autocomplete to work by searching and showing autocomplete options for any matching (contains()) string not just the starting string (startswith()) I know it's probably not just a property that can be set in the combobox, but can anyone point me in the right direction?

  I have a script that backs up our database, which contains multiple tables and views constructed from tables. The command used is: mysqldump -u UserName -ppassword -h hostname DatabaseName dump.sql; I have noticed however that some view definitions are backed up before the definitions of the tables. This causes an issue when restoring using the classic mysql -u UserName -p < dump.sql As when it tries to create the view, the table it needs does not exist yet. It is possible to edit the dump files to be restored, but I was wondering: Is there a way to either make sure that mysqldump backs up the tables and views in the right order? Or is there a way to restore from a dump that will find the right tables to create first (or create sane temporary tables)?   I am trying to build Marble on Windows (XP) and have been extremely unsuccessful. Following the instructions written here. I am wanting to build it as QT only. Configuration of the build tree fails. I am using the cmake-gui since I have never tried to compile using cmake it's possible it could be something in there. I found a similar issue; however, they compiled QT using Visual Studio and I am using QT Creator which compiles with MinGW so I need to compile in a different manner. CMake-GUI configuration source-code: MyDirectory/Marble where to build: MyDirectory/Build I also added an entry as.. DQTONLY and it's value set to ON

• UIImage created from CGImageRef fails with UIImagePNGRepresentation

  I'm using the following code to crop and create a new UIImage out of a bigger one. I've isolated the issue to be with the function CGImageCreateWithImageInRect() which seem to not set some CGImage property the way I want. :-) The problem is that a call to function UIImagePNGRepresentation() fails returning a nil. CGImageRef origRef = [stillView.image CGImage]; CGImageRef cgCrop = CGImageCreateWithImageInRect( origRef, theRect); UIImage *imgCrop = [UIImage imageWithCGImage:cgCrop]; ... • Display custom error page when file upload exceeds allowed size in ASP.NET MVC2

  Hello! My main issue is that I want to display an custom error page when an uploaded file exceeds allowed size (maxRequestLength in web.config). When the big file is uploaded an HttpException is thrown before my upload action method in the controller is invoked. This is expected. I have tried to catch the exception in a custom attribute and also to override OnException in the controller. Why isnt it possible to catch the exception in either the attribute or the OnException method? Its possible though to catch the exception in Application_Error in global.asax but neither Response.Redirect nor Server.Transfer works for redirecting to the custom error page. Server.Transfer gives the "failed to process child request" error and response.redirect gives the "Http headers already sent" error. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! Marcus

• Tomcat cookies not working via my ProxyPass VirtualHost

  Hi there. I'm having some issues with getting cookies to work when using a ProxyPass to redirect traffic on port 80 to a web-application hosted via Tomcat. My motivation for enabling cookies is to get rid of the "jsessionid=" parameter that is appended to the URLs. I've enabled cookies in my context.xml in META-INF/ for my web application. When I access the webapplication via http://url:8080/webapp it works as expected, the jsessionid parameter is not visible in the URL, instead it's stored in a cookie. When accessing my website via an apache2 virtualhost the cookies doesn't seem to work because now "jsessionid" is being appended to the URLs. How can I solve this issue? • FullCalendar: Change agendaDay background-color..

  While I have seen this question asked, I haven't seen the answer. Basically, I just want to be able to color the background-color of the TD from a certain range.. Say I have my calendar that has slot minutes every 15 minutes and from 9am to 9pm, I would like to only color differently 10am to 3pm. This information would be coming from a feed but that is not an issue. I haven't found the TDs relating to a set time inside the calendar. Perhaps I missed something? :) I am rather new to jQuery and fullCalendar. Also, another quick question that is unrelated to the main one: is it possible from an event handler to get the id of the calendar that launched it? I have multiple calendars on my page to simulate something like a Gantt view. This will let me be able to fetch the right feed and populate the right events. Thank you for your time.

• Servlet stops working on Tomcat server after some hits or time

  I have a very strange issue with some of my servlets. Below is my configuration: Folder A has X number of servlets deployed in Tomcat directory Folder B has Y number of servlets deployed in Tomcat directory After certain amount of time or hits to any of the servlets in Folder B, it stops working properly, whereas at same time all servlets of Folder A works fine. I am not able to trace where I am doing mistake. All coding for both folder's servlets is the same, the only difference is they are interacting with different DB's, but it is very simple read only operation with DB though. Any ideas?

• Errorprovider shows error on using windows close button(X)

  Hi guys, Is there any way to turn the damned error provider off when i try to close the form using the windows close button(X). • Close PrintPreviewDialog when ESC is pressed

  I'm working on a WinForms application that uses System.Windows.Forms.PrintPreviewDialog to display a Print Preview dialog. When the user presses ESC in that dialog, I'd like to close the dialog. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to do this. I've tried to install a KeyDown/PreviewKeyDown event handler, but it never gets called. I also tried setting focus to the dialog (and to its PrintPreviewControl), thinking that was the issue, but that didn't help either. Does anyone have any idea how to make this work?

• HttpClient 4 SSL and client side certificates

  Hi All, I am having trouble working out how I can get get HttpClient 4 to use SSL in the way I need. I have X https servers that I send requests to. One requires a client side certificate while the others have trusted certificates and therefore require no client side certificate. I have no issue connecting to the server requiring the client side certificate (its in my keystore), however every time I try to connect to the servers with trusted certificates, my client side certificate is offered by HttpClient and therefore fails authentication. My question is this: is there a way for HttpClient to offer the client side certificate only to the server requiring it and not to the others? Thanks in advance, Luke

• ASP.NET url MAX_PATH limit

  Hi, I've found an issue with ASP.NET that I know at least has stumped one other person out there. We were trying to use an HttpModule to handle wildcard requests to a web application. The generated url is dynamic and could potentially be several hundred characters long. Unfortunately there appears to be a limitation in the aspnet_isapi.dll file that limits the length of the path in the url to MAX_PATH which is hardcoded at 260 chars. Has anyone else ran into this and found a way around this limit? Query string parameters are not an option. Thanks, Greg Ballard
