  • AngularJS: How to make angular load script inside ng-include?

    Hey I am building a web page with angular. The problem is that there are somethings already build without angular and I have to include them as well The problem is this. I have something like this in my main.html: <ngInclude src="partial.html"> </ngInclude> And my partial.html has something like this <h2> heading 1 <h2> <script type="text/javascript" src="static/js/partial.js"> </script> And my partial.js has nothing to do with angularjs. nginclude works and I can see the html, but I can not see the javascript file being loaded at all. I know how to use firebug/ chrome-dev-tool, but I can not even see the network request being made. What am I doing wrong? I knwo angular has some special meaning to script tag. Can I override it?

  • What would be the light way to render a JSP page without an App/Web Server

    First, some background: I will have to work on code for a JSP that will demand a lot of code fixing and testing. This JSP will receive a structure of given objects, and render it according to a couple of rules. What I would like to do, is to write a "Test Server" that would read some mock data out of a fixtures file, and mock those objects into a factory that would be used by the JSP in question. The target App Server is WebSphere and I would like to code, change, code in order to test appropriate HTML rendering. I have done something similar on the past, but the JSP part was just calling a method on a rendering object, so I created an Ad Hoc HTTP server that would read the fixture files, parse it and render HTML. All I had to do was run it inside RAD, change the HTML code and hit F5. So question pretty much goes down to: Is there any stand alone library or lightweight server (I thought of Jetty) that would take a JSP, and given the correct contexts (Request, Response, Session, etc.) render the proper HTML?

    I have an MVC application with a simple control to all selection of All Dates or selecting a Date Range. The radio buttons have an onclick handler to enable/disable the dat pickers. All work well so far. When I try to set the correct context state for the datepickers after doing a POST I cannot get the jQuery selector to return the radio buttons checked value. How do I do this? To me it seems like the delegate call is pushed to a queue that is called when the current call is done. So the question is can I modify this behavior? Note: The reason this is needed is that I can't execute the JavaScript until the HTML has loaded.

I want to grab the suggestion as my result. I want to be able to either grep into the page.html file perhaps with grep -oE or pipe it right from curl and never store a file. The result should be: 'instantiate' I need only the word 'instantiate', or the phrase, whatever google is auto correcting, is what I am after.   • Apache/Rails/Passenger directory URLs that don't end in '/' fail to 404.

    I'm using Apache with passenger to run a rails app. In my rails app, I have some static content in subdirectories of the public directory. Each subdirectory has an index.html in it. So, inside the public directory, I have a subdir called 'b' and inside it, is an index.html. So it's like this: /public/b/index.html I have links to these pages, of the form: http://a.com/b If I do this in my regular non-rails web directory, Apache correctly rewrites this URL to be http://a.com/b/ which then, subsequently shows the index.html. It's only when accessing my rails app that it doesn't work. In fact, if I turn off passenger mod... so it just accesses my rails app like a regular document root, it works correctly also. What the heck do I need to do to get this to work properly with passenger? Again, it works fine in apache itself when passenger is not involved. I am running passenger 2.1.3. I have another server running passenger 2.0 that doesn't seem to have this problem, but I don't see anything different in the config other than the different versions of passenger itself. HELP! Been working on this for two days solid with no improvement!

    I am needing to upgrade MYSQL on Ubuntu, it is a production server and naturally cautious. My many googles look to be essentially saying that I need to : 1) Backup my current mysql database and tables/data 2) Uninstall current mysql 3) Install new MYSQL 5+ 4) Restore Databases/ tables and data 5) Hope and Pray I got it right ?? Something doesn't seem right, sounds like a lot of down time and risk Am I missing something / or any simple solutions? Upgrading from mSQL 4 to 5 on Ubuntu 10 Many Thanks, Rob

    I'm having a problem where the my anchor tags sometimes aren't displaying their links. This is happening on Mobile Safari on multiple iPhones, and in the iPhone simulator. I'm using jQtouch r147, PhoneGap, and jQuery 1.4.2. When the list is blank, I see the debug.log() line show me 'html is blank', and I also see the log line show me that the variable 'name' does, in fact, contain a valid name. When I check for anchor.html() == null, I've also tried to .remove() the anchor tag, and re-create it. But it always comes back without the name displayed. This happens on the mobile device and in the simulator, but I've never seen it happen in Safari or in Chrome. Has anyone seen something like this? I can't find the cause, and I can't get it to stop. Thank you for any ideas or suggestions!

  • How can a link within a WebView load another layout using javascript?

    So I have 2 layout files (main.xml, featured.xml) and both each have a single WebView. When the application starts "main.xml" loads a html file into it's WebView. In this html file I have a link that calls javascript that runs code in the Activity that loaded the html. Once back in this Activity code though I try running setContentView(R.layout.featured) but it just bombs out on me. If I debug it just dies without any real error and if I run it the application just Force closes.     I've been having some difficulty in understanding the source of a problem. Below is a listing of the model classes. Essentially the goal is to have the ability to add sentences to the end of the story, or to add stories to an existing sentence_block. Right now, I'm only attempting to allow users to add sentences, and automatically create a new sentence_block for the new sentence. class Story < ActiveRecord::Base has_many :sentence_blocks, :dependent => :destroy has_many :sentences, :through => :sentence_blocks accepts_nested_attributes_for :sentence_blocks end class SentenceBlock < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :story has_many :sentences, :dependent => :destroy end class Sentence < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :sentence_block def story @sentence_block = SentenceBlock.find(self.sentence_block_id) Story.find(@sentence_block.story_id) end end The problem is occurring when using the show method of the Story. The Story method is as follows, and the associated show method for a sentence is also included. I'm trying to ensure that every time the view depicts show for a story, an unnecessary sentence_block and sentence isn't created, unless someone submits the form, I'm not really sure how to accomplish this. Edit: on both machines IE was used and activex was enabled.   • What is the equivalent to Master Views from ASP.NET in PHP?

    I'm used to working in ASP.NET / ASP.NET MVC and now for class I have to make a PHP website. What is the equivalent to Master Views from ASP.NET in the PHP world? Ideally I would like to be able to define a page layout with something like: Master.php <html> <head> <title>My WebSite</title> <?php headcontent?> </head> <body> <?php bodycontent?> </body> </html> and then have my other PHP pages inherit from Master, so I can insert into those predefined places. Is this possible in PHP? Right now I have the top half of my page defined as "Header.html" and the bottom half is "footer.html" and I include_once both of them on each page I create. However, this isn't ideal for when I want to be able to insert into multiple places on my master page such as being able to insert content into the head. Can someone skilled in PHP point me in the right direction?
