    Hello all, I'm trying to change a java project into a Dynamic web project, unfortunatly the project looks nothing like what it needs to easily move to a Dynamic web project. So, my question is... Change I change the "WebContent" directory to a linked folder? So that I can change the "WebContent" folder from C:\tools\eclipse_galiloe\workspace\Test\WebContent to C:\project\jsps Thanks!

    How can a dynamic programming solution for the unbounded knapsack decision problem be used to come up with a dynamic programming solution to the subset-sum decision problem? This limitation seems to render the unbounded knapsack problem useless. In the unbounded knapsack, we simply store true or false for if some subset of integers sum up to our target value. However, if we have a limit on the frequency of the use of these integers, the optimal substructure at least appears to fail. How can this be done?

    I am trying to mix dynamic and static cells in a grouped table view: I would like to get two sections with static cells at the top followed by a section of dynamic cells (please refer to the screenshot below). I have set the table view contents to static cells. The cell returned from cell = [super tableView:tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:indexPath] for section 0 and row 0 is nil. What is wrong with my code? Could there be any problems with my outlets? I haven't set any outlets because I am subclassing UITableViewController and supposedly do not any outlets for tableview to be set (?). Any suggestions on how to better do it? Edit II I have recreated my scene in storyboard (please refer to my updated screen shot above) and rewritten the view controller in order to start from a new base. I have also read the description in Apple's forum as applefreak suggested. However, I run in my first problem with the method numberOfSectionsInTableView:tableView, in which I increment the number of static sections (two) by one. - (NSInteger)numberOfSectionsInTableView:(UITableView *)tableView { return [super numberOfSectionsInTableView:tableView] + 1 ; } The app crashed with the error message: Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '* -[__NSArrayI objectAtIndex:]: index 2 beyond bounds [0 .. 1]' Why is this code not working for me even though I followed Apple's and applefreak recommendations? It is possible that the tableView has changed a bit in iOS 6? Solution: I got this to work now using AppleFreaks code sample in his answer below. Thank you, AppleFreak! Edit III: Cell Selection: How can I handle cell selection in a mixed (dynamic and static cells) cell table view? When do I call super and when do I call self tableView? When I use [[super tableView] selectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath animated:NO scrollPosition:UITableViewScrollPositionNone] and try to check for the selected index paths with: UITableView *tableView = [super tableView]; if ( [[tableView indexPathForSelectedRow] isEqual:customGrowthIndexPath] ) { .. } I get an return value of nil. As I can't find the source of my error, I really would appreciate your help

Most languages I know use static scoping (or have moved to static scoping, like Python), and probably because I know it better I tend to prefer it. Are there specific applications/instances or examples where dynamic scope is more useful?

    In my view, if I have a situation where I need to use a dynamic method (such as Domain.findByName("name")) in multiple places, would it be better to define a variable with and refer to that, rather than have the dynamic method in multiple places? I know this seems like an obvious answer, but I just wanted to make sure Grails doesn't cache it or something, and indeed two DB calls are being made.

    Hello, I'm building a query with the LINQ dynamic library so I don't know how many potential parameters will I have and I get an error when trying to query DATE type fields: Operator '=' incompatible with operand types 'DateTime' and 'String' When I step through the debugger in the Dynamic.cs it shows that the value is of type string and the field is of type date so the problem is obvious but I have no idea how to approach it.     i'm reading a few variables from a file using while read a b c; do (something) done < filename is there an elegant way to skip a variable (read in an empty value), i.e. if I want a=1 b= c=3, what should I write in the file? Right now i'm putting 1 "" 3 and then use b=$(echo $b | tr -d \" ) but this is pretty cumbersome, IMHO any ideas?

    I wanted to set VIMHOME variable this way(common to windows and linux), let $VIMHOME=expand("%:p")."/..", so that VIMHOME is "~/.vim" in linux or "path/to/vimfiles" in windows. I put this in a var.vim file and placed this in the plugin directory. It loads properly, but VIMHOME is set only to "./..". How do I get the full path of a file using expand? Is there an easy way to set VIMHOME?

    I have Jenkins setup and it was working but then I updated java and now Jenkins acts like it doesn't know where it is. When I goto my Jenkins server and click manage jenkins-system information under the "Environment Variables" section the PATH variable is wrong. How can I change it? Jenkins is running as root but root's PATH is correct but Jenkins isn't pulling that correctly. Right now Jenkins can't find hg(mercurial) or anything else.

If it changes anything, I'm doing it over PHP using phpseclib.

    I'm looking for scripts or software that can scan workstations on a domain for a particular environmental variable (for interest, it was used to store the SOE build version) and generate a report. Accuracy is key, I don't want any workstations skipped or missed. And considering workstations will need to be powered on for anything to remotely read from the registry (and there's no guarantee they will be), that means something that can sit and run continuously for a while, updating its own records as it goes.
