  • pause/break key on modern keyboards

    - by NoCarrier
Is there still a use for this key in modern operating systems? I know back in the days of the rapidfire dir /s on ten thousand files in DOS 5.5 this key was indispensable, but is it needed anymore? If not, can i remap it to do something else? If so, what?

  • Change section key to less-than in OS X

    - by onik
I'm having trouble getting my keyboard layout to be properly recognized. At the moment everything else is fine, but my less-than key (<) is mapped to the section key (§), which makes writing HTML a pain. I've tried Ukelele and KeyRemap4MacBook, but can't seem to find the correct settings to change. For reference, this is my layout: Finnish Multilingual, and in System Preferences the input is set to Finnish.

  • [C#] RSACryptoServiceProvider Using the Public Key to decrypt Private Key encrypted Data ?

    - by prixone
Hello, i went thru lots and lots of searchs and results and pages considering this matter but havent found the solution yet. Like i described in the title i want to decrypt data using my Public Key which is something i am able to do with my PHP code, my certificate is generated from my PHP page. Here is a sample of what i am trying: public string Decrypt(string data) { X509Certificate2 cert = new X509Certificate2(); cert.Import(Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes(webApi["PublicDefaultKey"])); RSACryptoServiceProvider rsa = (RSACryptoServiceProvider)cert.PublicKey.Key; byte[] ciphertextBytes = Convert.FromBase64String(data); byte[] plaintextBytes = rsa.Decrypt(ciphertextBytes, false); return System.Text.Encoding.UTF8.GetString(plaintextBytes); } MessageBox.Show(Decrypt("pgcl93TpVfyHubuRlL72/PZN0nA4Q+HHx8Y15qGvUyTNpI6y7J13YG07ZVEyB7Dbgx63FSw9vEw1D1Z3bvNbI0gqalVfKTfHv5tKVc7Y6nQwQYwoODpUhVpa/K9OP1lqx4esnxqwJx95G0rqgJTdS+Yo773s5UcJrHzzbsX2z+w=")); here is the public key i am using for tests: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- MIIDxDCCAy2gAwIBAgIBADANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQUFADCBozELMAkGA1UEBhMCVUsx EDAOBgNVBAgTB0VuZ2xhbmQxDzANBgNVBAcTBkxvbmRvbjESMBAGA1UEChMJTU1P Q2xldmVyMSMwIQYDVQQLExpNTU9DbGV2ZXIgRGV2ZWxvcGVyJ3MgVGVhbTESMBAG A1UEAxMJTU1PQ2xldmVyMSQwIgYJKoZIhvcNAQkBFhVzdXBwb3J0QG1tb2NsZXZl ci5jb20wHhcNMTAwNTE2MTkxNDQ4WhcNMTEwNTE2MTkxNDQ4WjCBozELMAkGA1UE BhMCVUsxEDAOBgNVBAgTB0VuZ2xhbmQxDzANBgNVBAcTBkxvbmRvbjESMBAGA1UE ChMJTU1PQ2xldmVyMSMwIQYDVQQLExpNTU9DbGV2ZXIgRGV2ZWxvcGVyJ3MgVGVh bTESMBAGA1UEAxMJTU1PQ2xldmVyMSQwIgYJKoZIhvcNAQkBFhVzdXBwb3J0QG1t b2NsZXZlci5jb20wgZ8wDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEBBQADgY0AMIGJAoGBAMozHr17PL+N seZyadobUmpIV+RKqmRUGX0USIdj0i0yvwvltu3AIKAyRhGz16053jZV2WeglCEj qfiewF9sYTAAoIVGtdd/sZvO4uUcng9crSzDo0CrEPs/Tn5SunmlmyFlZfdlqpAM XXLno/HMo9cza0CrcMnRokaTiu8szBeBAgMBAAGjggEEMIIBADAdBgNVHQ4EFgQU zip+3/hBIpjvdcSoWQ2rW+xDEWAwgdAGA1UdIwSByDCBxYAUzip+3/hBIpjvdcSo WQ2rW+xDEWChgamkgaYwgaMxCzAJBgNVBAYTAlVLMRAwDgYDVQQIEwdFbmdsYW5k MQ8wDQYDVQQHEwZMb25kb24xEjAQBgNVBAoTCU1NT0NsZXZlcjEjMCEGA1UECxMa TU1PQ2xldmVyIERldmVsb3BlcidzIFRlYW0xEjAQBgNVBAMTCU1NT0NsZXZlcjEk MCIGCSqGSIb3DQEJARYVc3VwcG9ydEBtbW9jbGV2ZXIuY29tggEAMAwGA1UdEwQF MAMBAf8wDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEFBQADgYEAyU6RLifBXSyQUkBFnTcI6h5ryujh+6o6 eQ1wuPOPmRdYJZuWx/5mjMpIF13sYlNorcOv5WaEnp8/Jfuwc9h/jXlcujser0UE WoaaFwK81O801Xkv2zEm2UUWiOabrGTIT4FVy3gCUXJYjaCnvfSdmkfLJOQxNHVt 4NTMp7IeF60= -----END CERTIFICATE----- by default, the PHP generates the key in PKCS as far as i know, from my C# code i can encrypt using my publick key with out any problems and decrypt it on my php page but so far i was not able to decrypt data sent from my php page encrypted with the private key which is something i can do on my php... i did like some help to understand what i am doing wrong... the error when i run the functions is "bad data" at rsa.Decrypt(ciphertextBytes, false); which i couldnt found anymore information at it... • AutoMapper Mapping IEnumerable to DataReader Issue

    - by user74825
I am using AutoMapper to datareader using code as discussed below http://elegantcode.com/2009/10/16/mapping-from-idatareaderidatarecord-with-automapper/ I see it being very flakky...and unpredictable. 1) Same code with same datareader at times brings value back to the dto result set and at times doesnot. 2) I have an ID value coming from database as 100, 200. When it maps to the DTO that is of type integer this 100 is changed to a large value (like 234343211). Any ideas on why am I seeing this inconsitency. Should I be using the standard while (reader.Read())? and stop using automapper?

Hi at all, I'm having a issue trying to get working a JPA nativeQuery. I'm having a org.hibernate.MappingException: No Dialect mapping for JDBC type: 2002 when a try to do a nativeQuery and get a geometry field type. I use oracle and org.hibernatespatial.oracle.OracleSpatial10gDialect. The geom fields is mapped as: @Column(name="geometry") @Type(type = "org.hibernatespatial.GeometryUserType") private Geometry geometry; List<Object> listFeatures= new LinkedList<Object>(); Query query= entityManager.createNativeQuery( "SELECT "+ slots +" , geometry FROM edtem_features feature, edtem_dades dada WHERE" + " feature."+ tematic.getIdGeomField() +" = dada."+ tematic.getIdDataField()+ " AND dada.capesid= "+ tematic.getCapa().getId() + " AND feature.geometriesid= "+ tematic.getGeometria().getId()); listFeatures.addAll( query.getResultList()); Anybody knows a solution? or how to force the type of the geometry to get wroking this... MANY Thanks in advance. Moli

  • Mapping Enums to Database with NHibernate/Castle ActiveRecord

    - by Mike
There's a few other posts on mapping Enums to the DB with ActiveRecord, but none of them answer my question. I have an enum called OrderState: public enum OrderState {InQueue, Ordered, Error, Cancelled} And I have the following property on the table: [Property(NotNull = true, SqlType = "orderstate", ColumnType = "DB.EnumMapper, WebSite")] public OrderState State { get { return state; } set { state = value; } } And I have the following type class: public class EnumMapper : NHibernate.Type.EnumStringType<OrderState> { public EnumMapper() { } public override NHibernate.SqlTypes.SqlType SqlType { get { return new NHibernate.SqlTypes.SqlType(DbType.Object); } } } Now this actually works the way I want, but the problem is I have tons of enums and I don't want to create a EnumMapper class for each one of them. Isn't there some way to just tell ActiveRecord to use DbType.Object for any enum? It seems to either want to be an integer or a string, but nothing else. This one's been driving me crazy for the last 2 hours.. Mike

  • Mapping parent-child relationships with iBatis

    - by agnul
I have the classic setup public class Parent { Integer id; ... // No generics Collection someCollectionAttribute; ... public void setChildren(Collection c) { ... } } public class Child { Integer id; ... } and I'm trying to map this on the usual table setup using iBatis (version 2.30... don't ask). create table parents ( ID integer primary key ... ) create table children ( ID integer primary key PARENT_ID integer references parents(id) ... ) My mapping file looks like this <resultMap id="ParentResult" groupBy="id"> <result property="id" column="ID" /> ... <result property="children" resultMap="ChildResult" /> </resultMap> <resultMap id="ChildResult"> <result property="id" column="ID" /> <result property="parentId" column="PARENT_ID" /> ... </result> <sql id="loadParent" resultMap="ParentResult"> select P.ID as p1, ..., C.ID as c1, C.PARENT_ID as c2 ... from parents P join children C on (P.ID = C.PARENT_ID) where P.ID = #id# order by P.ID </sql> Doing the usual sqlMap.queryForObject("loadParent", new Integer(42)) at first caused a NullPointerException inside the setChildren setter which apparently is called with a null argument (my bad). Fixing the setter everything works fine, but the logs show that setChildren is called only once before even running a single SQL statement, still with a null argument, so I'm wondering what's going on here. Anyone has any clues?

  • Mapping <C-Tab> in my vimrc fails in Ubuntu

    - by nfm
I want to map ctrl-tab to :tabn, and ctrl-shift-tab to :tabp. I had it working for gVim in Windows XP, but moved it to my .vimrc in Ubuntu 9.10 and it doesn't work (vim 7.2). Here's the relevant section of my .vimrc: nmap <C-Tab> :tabn<CR> nmap <C-S-Tab> :tabp<CR> nmap <C-t> :tabnew<CR> <C-t> works fine, so mapping the ctrl key doesn't seem to be a problem. I really have no idea where to start! What could be going wrong here, considering it worked fine under Windows?

  • Environment variable in xcconfig won't expand in Settings.bundle/Root.plist

    - by AO
    I have defined my own environment variable in a .xcconfig file and based my configurations on that as described at http://www.silverchairsolutions.com/blog/2008/03/automating-cocoa-deployments-with-sparkle-and-xcode. My environment variable is indeed expanded in Info.plist but not in my Settings.bundle/Root.plist. Why won't it expand there? Root.plist looks like this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd"> <plist version="1.0"> <dict> <key>Title</key> <string>${PRODUCT_NAME}</string> <key>PreferenceSpecifiers</key> <array> <dict> <key>DefaultValue</key> <string>${PRODUCT_NAME}</string> <key>Key</key> <string>version</string> <key>Title</key> <string>Version</string> <key>Type</key> <string>PSTitleValueSpecifier</string> </dict> <dict> <key>DefaultValue</key> <string></string> <key>Key</key> <string>atc</string> <key>Title</key> <string>ATC</string> <key>Type</key> <string>PSTitleValueSpecifier</string> </dict> </array>

  • SharpArchitecture: Using FNH's ClassMaps instead of auto mapping

    - by zihotki
I need to use ClassMaps instead of auto mapping because of legacy database. But I don't see how to tune SharpArch to use them. I tried to remove AutoPersistentModelGenerator and use the following code in the InitializeNHibernateSession method: var config = NHibernateSession.Init(webSessionStorage, new[]{"ApplicationConfiguration.Models.dll"}); Fluently.Configure(config) .Mappings(m => { m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssemblyOf<ConfigSchema>(); }); But I always get MappingException - "No persister for: ConfigSchema" when trying to work with the ConfigSchema. Has anyone tried to do this?

  • Mapping of memory addresses to physical modules in Windows XP

    - by Josef Grahn
I plan to run 32-bit Windows XP on a workstation with dual processors, based on Intel's Nehalem microarchitecture, and triple channel RAM. Even though XP is limited to 4 GB of RAM, my understanding is that it will function with more than 4 GB installed, but will only expose 4 GB (or slightly less). My question is: Assuming that 6 GB of RAM is installed in six 1 GB modules, which physical 4 GB will Windows actually map into its address space? In particular: Will it use all six 1 GB modules, taking advantage of all memory channels? (My guess is yes, and that the mapping to individual modules within a group happens in hardware.) Will it map 2 GB of address space to each of the two NUMA nodes (as each processor has it's own memory interface), or will one processor get fast access to 3 GB of RAM, while the other only has 1 GB? Thanks!

  • Mode specific key bindings

    - by rejeep
Hey, I have a minor mode that also comes with a global mode. The mode have some key bindings and I want the user to have the posibility to specify what bindings should work for each mode. (my-minor-mode-bindings-for-mode 'some-mode '(key1 key2 ...)) (my-minor-mode-bindings-for-mode 'some-other-mode '(key3 key4 ...)) So I need some kind of mode/buffer-local key map. Buffer local is a bit problematic since the user can change the major mode. I have tried some solutions of which neither works any good. Bind all possible keys always and when the user types the key, check if the key should be active in that mode. Execute action if true, otherwise fall back. Like the previous case only that no keys are bound. Instead I use a pre command hook and check if the key pressed should do anything. For each buffer update (whatever that means), run a function that first clears the key map and then updates it with the bindings for that particular mode. I have tried these approaches and I found problems with all of them. Do you know of any good way to solve this? Thanks!

  • Upload documents using email and mapping properties of documents

    - by stranger001
Hi, We have a requirement to upload documents to a specific SharePoint document library when a document is sent via email to a specific email address. I think SharePoint has this feature available. What I would like to know more importantly is mapping the information in the body of the email to the custom properties of the document. For example, if a custom field (property) is added to the document in SharePoint say - "Year". I provide the value of this property within the body of the email and attach the document in email. Is it possible that the provided value in the body of the email for the property is updated in SharePoint when the document is uploaded to SharePoint through email? We are using SharePoint 2007. Appreciate any information on this. Thanks

  • Mapping a boolean[] PostgreSql column with Hibernate

    - by teabot
I have a column in a PostgreSql database that is defined with type boolean[]. I wish to map this to a Java entity property using Hibernate 3.3.x. However, I cannot find a suitable Java type that Hibernate is happy to map to. I thought that the java.lang.Boolean[] would be the obvious choice, but Hibernate complains: Caused by: org.hibernate.HibernateException: Wrong column type in schema.table for column mycolumn. Found: _bool, expected: bytea at org.hibernate.mapping.Table.validateColumns(Table.java:284) at org.hibernate.cfg.Configuration.validateSchema(Configuration.java:1130) I have also tried the following property types without success: java.lang.String java.lang.boolean[] java.lang.Byte[] How can I map this column?

  • Mapping composite foreign keys in a many-many relationship in Entity Framework

    - by Kirk Broadhurst
I have a Page table and a View table. There is a many-many relationship between these two via a PageView table. Unfortunately all of these tables need to have composite keys (for business reasons). Page has a primary key of (PageCode, Version), View has a primary key of (ViewCode, Version). PageView obviously enough has PageCode, ViewCode, and Version. The FK to Page is (PageCode, Version) and the FK to View is (ViewCode, Version) Makes sense and works, but when I try to map this in Entity framework I get Error 3021: Problem in mapping fragments...: Each of the following columns in table PageView is mapped to multiple conceptual side properties: PageView.Version is mapped to (PageView_Association.View.Version, PageView_Association.Page.Version) So clearly enough, EF is having a complain about the Version column being a common component of the two foreign keys. Obviously I could create a PageVersion and ViewVersion column in the join table, but that kind of defeats the point of the constraint, i.e. the Page and View must have the same Version value. Has anyone encountered this, and is there anything I can do get around it? Thanks!

  • ActiveRecord Mapping

    - by Diego Dias
Good morning, guys. I'm with a problem with the query that NHibernate generates. My mapping is like bellow: public class Matricula { [BelongsTo("IdTurma", NotNull=True)] public Turma {get;set;} } public class Turma { [BelongsTo("IdCurso", NotNull=True)] public Curso {get;set;} } public class Curso { [PrimaryKey("IdCurso", Generator=PrimaryKeyType.Identity)] public int IdCurso{get;set;} } The problem is: The Nh generates the query with left where should be inner. Between Matricula and Turma they makes inner, but between Turma and Curso they makes left outer. What's problem? What's wrong?

  • IntegrityError: foreign key violation upon delete

    - by Lukasz Korzybski
I have Order and Shipment model. Shipment has a foreign key to Order. class Order(...): ... class Shipment() order = m.ForeignKey('Order') ... Now in one of my views I want do delete order object along with all related objects. So I invoke order.delete(). I have Django 1.0.4, PostgreSQL 8.4 and I use transaction middleware, so whole request is enclosed in single transaction. The problem is that upon order.delete() I get: ... I checked in connection.queries that proper queries are executed in proper order. First shipment is deleted, after that django executes delete on order row: {'time': '0.000', 'sql': 'DELETE FROM "main_shipment" WHERE "id" IN (17)'}, {'time': '0.000', 'sql': 'DELETE FROM "main_order" WHERE "id" IN (45)'} Foreign key have ON DELETE NO ACTION (default) and is initially deferred. I don't know why I get foreign key constraint violation. I also tried to register pre_delete signal and manually delete shipment objects before delete on order is called, but it resulted in the same error. I can change ON DELETE behaviour for this key in Postgres but it would be just a hack, I wonder if anyone has a better idea what's going on here. There is also a small detail, my Order model inherits from Cart model, so it actually doesn't have id field but cart_ptr_id and after DELETE on order is executed there is also DELETE on cart, but it seems unrelated? to the shipment-order problem so I simplified it in the example.

  • Mapping to a JSON method with url-pattern

    - by Brian
I'm creating a Spring MVC application that will have a controller with 'RequestMapping'-annotated methods, including a JSON method. It currently has static content that resides in webapps/static, and the app itself resides in webapps/myapp. I assume that Catalina's default servlet is handling the static content, and my *.htm url-pattern in web.xml is returning the request for my JSP page, but I haven't been able to get the JSON method to be called. How do I write the url-pattern in the servlet mapping to do so? Using /* has not worked; it prevents the app from being accessed at all. Is there anything else to be aware of? EDIT: The url-pattern '/' appears to allow the JSON request through, because a 406 error is returned. What then would need to be modified to allow JSON to be returned?

  • Weird mapping error in linq-to-sql dbml file in VS2010

    - by rwwilden
Since I switched to VS2010, several times a day I get a compilation error in my dbml file: DBML1005: Mapping between DbType 'bigint' and Type 'MyNamespace.SecurityToken' in Column 'SecurityToken' of Type 'Employee' is not supported When I restart VS2010 the error disappears. I have no problems running my application using this dbml file (specifically, there are no problems getting correct values inside the SecurityToken property of Employee objects). The SecurityToken property is of an enum type defined as follows: [Flags] public enum SecurityToken : long { None = 1, Admin = 2, ...... } The SecurityToken column in the database is of type bigint. Am I missing something? It's especially weird that the error only happens sometimes, when I'm writing code that isn't related at all to the LINQ model.

  • Hibernate Bi- Directional many to many mapping advice!

    - by Rob
hi all, i woundered if anyone might be able to help me out. I am trying to work out what to google for (or any other ideas!!) basically i have a bidirectional many to many mapping between a user entity and a club entity (via a join table called userClubs) I now want to include a column in userClubs that represents the role so that when i call user.getClubs() I can also work out what level access they have. Is there a clever way to do this using hibernate or do i need to rethink the database structure? Thank you for any help (or just for reading this far!!) the user.hbm.xml looks a bit like <set name="clubs" table="userClubs" cascade="save-update"> <key column="user_ID"/> <many-to-many column="activity_ID" class="com.ActivityGB.client.domain.Activity"/> </set> the activity.hbm.xml part <set name="members" inverse="true" table="userClubs" cascade="save-update"> <key column="activity_ID"/> <many-to-many column="user_ID" class="com.ActivityGB.client.domain.User"/> </set> The current userClubs table contains the fields id | user_ID | activity_ID I would like to include in there id | user_ID | activity_ID | role and be able to access the role on both sides...
