    Greets, Made some app on android. I for the life of me can't get it to install on the phone as a stand alone application. It runs fine when I deploy from eclipse but never remains on the device. any idea whats happening? I put the apk file on a web server, went to the address downloaded and installed but still it wasn't to be found. I'm lost!

  • svn for emacs: how do you set author name and save password

I am trying to move to emacs from eclipse but I can't for the life of me figure out how to set my svn author name so it doesn't default the author name OR save the password so I don't have to type it in any each time.   • Cocoa - Change text of label

    I've got a cocoa application that reads in a text file. I'd like to display that text in a multi-line label, but I for the life of me can't figure it out. I opened up my .nib file and poped a multi-line label down but after that I'm stuck. I don't have any experience working with XCode or Cocoa, mostly Eclipse, Visual Studio, and pretty much every other IDE except XCode which seems very foreign.

    Not sure if this is a bug or if i'm just missing something but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my cursor back in the winforms designer in visual studio 2010. I opened up an existing project and added a group box, now my cursor is stuck drawing group boxes. I just want the simple pointer cursor back but nothing I do seems to bring it back. I almost expected it to be on the toolbox under "Cursor" but its not.

    Hi all, I have RGB values that I need to convert into CMYK values. I'm using the iPhone SDK to try and do this. I have tried a couple of things, but cannot either get the values to be anything other than 0 or 1, or the K element is completely wrong (showing up as a negative number).     I've got VS2010 installed, I've downloaded the Windows Phone add-in and the Silverlight Toolkit from CodePlex, but I cannot work out for the life of me how to actually use the controls in a Windows Phone 7 application... How do I add the controls into the toolbox, or link them so that the XAML doesn't give me errors all the time? For instance, using the Viewbox - the controls aren't implemented, and the XAML does not compile.

  • easy way to get the top level domain?

    Hi, i want to get the domain extention (at least i hope it is called this way) from the site name the user is currently on. so from www.bbc.co.uk it's co.uk and www.google.com = .com http://stackoverflow.com/questions/ask = .com etc. especially the ones with the double name (like co.uk) gives me headaches.... EDIT as i understand from the comments, co.uk is not a top level domain? that makes life easier! EDIT new name (top level domain) in the title
