This is a totally newbie question. I'm running Eclipse on Ubuntu. I created a test project that I want to compile to an executable (whataver the linux equivalent is of a Windows .exe file). Here's the contents of my program: public class MyTest { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("You passed in: " + args[0]); } } I want to know how to compile it and then how to execute it from the command line. Thanks!

  • [VS2008] - Run Add-in from PrebuildEvent

    - by JBL
I'm writing an VS 2008 add-in to synchronize Setup project Version with startup project assembly version. It works fine. But I was wondering if it was possible to call add-in from the Prebuild Event of my setup project. It works fine by command line window, but I didn't find any syntax to make it work in prebuildEvent. Is Someone has an idea ? Thanks

  • Recursively expand collapsed regions in Visual Studio? (outlining)

    - by Kurt Margenau
I'm using Visual Studio 2008, and it doesn't seem like once I have collapsed all the regions, I can expand ALL levels of a certain region with one click/command. Notepad++ has this functionality when you ctrl + click on a collapsed region, it recursively expands all regions within it. It's awesome. Anyone know of a plugin or macro that has this functionality? I'm using a custom language, aka not C++/C# btw thanks!

  • Using rowDiffs() to calculate difference in values in matrix

    - by user1723765
I'm using the rowDiffs() command to calculate the step by step difference in 116 rows in a matrix. I get the following error: Error in r[i1] - r[-length(r):-(length(r) - lag + 1L)] : non-numeric argument to binary operator I have no idea why this is happening. I could take the diff() separately for each row and it would work. Any ideas? Here's the data: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22681355/data.csv Code: a=rowDiffs(data)

    - by Aux
Hey, I'm trying to get this function to get the following output with the listed input, the "..." is where I'm not sure what to write: void Question8(void) { char sentence[100]; int grade; scanf(….); printf("%s %d", sentence, grade); } Input: My CS Grade is 1000 Output: My CS Grade is 100 However, the kicker is that I need the scanf to read a c-string and then an int with a single scanf command, is this even possible?
