    I have a pretty good handle on dispatching from classes other than the Document Class, but what happens when I want to dispatch an event from the Document class and have other classes listen to the document class broadcast?     I have some code that does an awful lot of string formatting, Often, I end up with code along the lines of: "...".format(x=x, y=y, z=z, foo=foo, ...) Where I'm trying to interpolate a large number of variables into a large string. Is there a good reason not to write a function like this that uses the inspect module to find variables to interpolate? import inspect def interpolate(s): return s.format(**inspect.currentframe().f_back.f_locals) def generateTheString(x): y = foo(x) z = x + y # more calculations go here return interpolate("{x}, {y}, {z}")

    It used to be the number one reason for us to choose MSTest from others that we could access and test private methods. Now that Private accessors are deprecated in Visual Studio 2012. Does anyone know why Microsoft make such decision? Is it because it's not a good practice to test private methods? Also, if I still need to unit test my private methods, how could I do that in VS 2012 and later versions?

I get the menuname in the routes.rb and it's call the static controller show method. match '/:menuname' = 'static#show' And static_controller.rb: @static=Staticpage.where("menuname = ?", params[:menuname]) But if I want print @static.title in the view, I get this error: undefined method `title' for # Whats wrong? the SQL query looks good: SELECT staticpages.* FROM staticpages WHERE (menuname = 'asd')

I have been looking at Lua with LuaBind and Python with SWIG or Boost::Python, but all I see is how to make new instances of the objects, but I want to modify already existing ones.
