  • Permissions denied on apache rewrite module virtual host configuration

    All of a sudden I keep getting "Permissions denied" on apache 2 virtualhost once we moved it to its own conf file. I have tried all the suggestions I have found here but none work. Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?     I went through the process of manually installing ambari (not through SSH, because I couldnt get keyless to work) and everything installed OK, except for HIVE and GANGLIA.     I recently set up a new server with Ubuntu karmic 9.10, and when I created my home directory I chose to make it encrypted. Now, after loading my authorized_keys file into ~/.ssh, it isn't recognized because my home directory isn't decrypted until after I log in. Is there a way to make SSH keys work with encrypted home directories under Ubuntu?

Although I was able to PPTP VPN in on 321.321.39.10 (interface) which is the outside interface IP address. and it is static mapped to 172.21.37.20. So I'm thinking there must be something wrong with NAT somewhere? no response from 321.321.39.11 to 321.321.39.14.. Could anyone look over the config and please let me know what I've done wrong?   • Galaxy Tab 3 producing continuous LightSensor error in LogCat

    I am using a Galaxy Tab 3 as a test device for writing an android app. As such I'm interested in the output of the LogCat which is being filled with these error level messages. The device itself appears to work correctly, apps which rely on the light sensor correctly respond to it and the number in the error itself goes down if the light sensor is obscured. If I wasn't using it to develop apps I wouldn't even be aware of the issue but I believe it is an issue with the device itself not my app: simply plugging the tab 3 into the computer and using Eclipse - ADT to look at the LogCat without any app running leads to these errors being shown. I know I could filter the LogCat to ignore these errors but inconvenience aside; they concern me. A sample of the log cat is below (it generates errors continuously). This is on verbose so it includes some debug level (D/) messages as well as the error level messages (E/).     Hi, I'm experiencing the following: I created a UIView subclass with a CATiledLayer as backing layer by overriding the layerClass method. The same scroll view works fine when I use as (zoomable) content any other view such as an UIImageView or even a normal UIView with a CATiledLayer with the same properties and delegate of the subclass implementation as sublayer.     I am trying to setup my nginx conf so that I can serve the relevant files for my multiple Django projects. Ultimately I want each app to be available at www.example.com/app1, www.example.com/app2 etc. They all serve static files from a 'static-files' directory located in their respective project root. The project structure: Home Ubuntu Web www.example.com ref logs app app1 app1 static bower_components templatetags app1_project templates static-files app2 app2 static templates templatetags app2_project static-files app3 tests templates static-files static app3_project app3 venv When I use the conf below, there are no problems for serving the static-files for the app that I designate in the /static/ location. I can also access the different apps found at their locations. However, I cannot figure out how to serve all of the static files for all the apps at the same time. I have looked into using the 'try_files' command for the static location, but cannot figure out how to see if it is working or not.
