But I would like to have the computer icon too.   I had to reinstall Windows XP on my Aspire 5720 and now I'm reinstalling the drivers. There are two touchpad drivers and I don't know how to find out which is the right one for my system. I've run the program Acer provides that looks at your hardware, but it doesn't tell me which touchpad I have.   I know this is stupid: I couldn't find anything from IBM website about where to download an IBM jre (specifically, IBM jre1.6.0 J9 2.4 SR6) for a 64-bit Windows OS. Google takes me to a link which looks similar, but that jre would only work on an IBM product, I assume their own server/workstation or something like that. I would like to be able to read/write from both Windows (version 7, 64bit) and Ubuntu Linux, and I need support for files greater than 4GB in size (so I think this rules out FAT32). I'm using IFS drives at the moment to access my linux ext4 partitions, and I find it unstable. Does this mean NTFS? Is there something else I'm missing?

I have an exact copy of the hardware of it, which I intend to use a a redundant backup in case my server fails (hardware or software).
