• why include() don't allow to work setcookie?

  i need to set cookies in my page, but it returns Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home1/bsam/public_html/24kadr/index.php:1) in /home1/bsam/public_html/24kadr/basic_login.php on line 35 on line 1 i have include 'basic_login.php'; but even if i remoove include, ir returns the same warning on session_start, or mysql_connect. so i think these all functions use header when calling, but what can i do? at least i need to connect to database, and just after it i need to use setcookie(). so what can i do? thanks

  In C++ if we do not want some statements to compile into code that ships like assert function calls, we control their compilation through #ifndef preprocessor directives. How do we do this in Java? I have some System.out.println() statements for debugging which I would like to remove for the final code. one way is to make them execute conditionally under the affect of a boolean variable. Is there a better way of doing this? As I have a java swing application I can turn off the System.out.println statements without affecting the output. What is the method of doing this?

  Considering the following list : dalist = {{1, a, 1}, {2, s, 0}, {1, d, 0}, {2, f, 0}, {1, g, 1}} I would like to count the number of times a certain value in the first column takes a certain value in column 3. So in this example my desired output would be: {{1,1,2}, {1,0,1}, {2,1,0}, {2,0,2}} Where the latest sublist {2,0,2} being read as: When the value is 2 in the first column, a corresponding value (same row in matrices world) in column 3 of 0 is present twice. I hope this is not to confusing. I added the second Column to convey the fact that the columns are distant to each other. If possible, no reordering should happen. EDIT : {1,2,3,4,5} {1,0} are the exact values taken by the columns I am actually dealing with in my data. I know I am missing the correct description. Please edit if you can and know it. Thank you

• Shell script syntax error: unexpected end of line

• JBoss 4.0.5 startup takes 15 minutes deploying a single war file

  This instance of JBoss deploys several war files. The rest of the JBoss startup takes about 5 minutes or less. But when it gets to one particular war file, startup just hangs with no further output to the jboss log. It waits there for about 15 minutes and then suddenly the war starts deploying. The rest of the JBoss startup is then fine. What I want to know is what steps do you recommend I take to diagnose the cause of this condition? It is not possible to upgrade this site to a newer version of JBoss nor java (currently 1.5.0.7). It is running on 32-bit CentOS 5.3 Linux on 3 xen-based virtual servers in a load balanced configuration. The code is common to all three servers via an nfs share. This same issue was seen, however, when the 3 servers were physical and the code was local to each server. The servers are each 2 cpu, 4GB RAM servers.

  I am testing some scripts that interface with system commands. Their logic depends on the return code of the system commands, i.e. the value of $?. So, as a simplified example, the script might say: def foo(command) output=`#{command}` if $?==0 'succeeded' else 'failed' end end In order to be able to test these methods properly, I would like to be able to stub out the Kernel backquote call, and set $? to an arbitrary value, to see if I get appropriate behavior from the logic in the method after the backquote call. I can't figure out a way to do this. (In case it matters, I'm testing using Test::Unit and Mocha.)

  Hey guys I have a query and it works fine, but I want to add another table to the mix. The invite table I want to add has two fields: username and user_invite. Much like this site, I am using a point system to encourage diligent users. The current query which is displayed below adds the up votes and down votes based on the user in question: $creator. I want to count the number of entries for that same user from the invite table, and add 50 for each row it finds to the current output/sum of my query. Is this possible with one query, or do I need two?   I am trying to get the value of base_path variable in PHP (on lamp server) . I have kept the code insider beta_test directory inside www directly. i.e, base path function should return " /beta_test/ " . But it is returning just single slash ( "/" ) . Problem is, I don't know how to write the createList() for-loop correctly to account for whitespace in a directory name. If all directories don't have spaces, it works fine.   Hi, I need to implement a HtmlHelper extension in my MVC project simply just to output some string but ONLY in the DEBUG mode, not in REALEASE. My first attempt would be: [Conditional("DEBUG")] public static string TestStringForDebugOnly(this HtmlHelper helper, string testString) { return testString; } But obviously that would give a compile error: "The Conditional attribute is not valid because its return type is not void." So my understanding is once you set [Condition] attribute, it doesnt allow to return anything? why? What is other way to implement this kind of function? anyone help would be much appreciated. • Drupal Views: Render Null Result for Relationship as 0

  I have a View configured in Drupal to return nodes, sorting them by their average vote in descending order. For the purpose of the View, the value of the average votes is a Relationship. I noticed that nodes with no votes are displayed after nodes with a negative average. Nodes with no votes should have an average of 0, but I believe the MySQL JOIN is causing NULL values to be returned (as there are no matching rows in the joined table, since a row is created after the first vote is cast for that item). I discovered that with MySQL it is possible to output all values that are NULL in a column as another value with IFNULL(column_name,'other value'). I feel like I would need to modify the Views module in order to obtain this functionality, but I'm hoping that there is some sort of option that returns NULL values in a relation (a relation doesn't exist for the item) as 0 instead of NULL, so that I can properly sort the nodes. The modules I am using include Views, Voting API, Vote Up/Down, and CTools. Thanks.
