  • How do I put static data into an SQLite database in Android?

    If I have a bunch of data that is never going to change (eg. an English language dictionary or the rgb values of a couple hundred color names), how do I use an SQLite database to store it? I know a database is faster than loading everything into memory when the app starts, but how do I make the database either the first time the app runs or "before" the apps ever runs?

  • Good C++ Debugging/IDE Environment for Linux?

    I have a friend who is trying to make the switch to Linux, but is hung up on the apparent lack of debugging/IDE environments for C++, especially as they relate to template programming. He has been using visual studio for years and is maybe a little spoiled by their awesome IDE. Does anyone have any good suggestions for an environment where he can, under Linux, develop and debug with all of the usual things (Breakpoints, line highlighting for compilation errors, step in/over/out/etc, etc) that he's accustomed to?   • Save All Values of Database to Text File?

    I was wondering if there was a way to extract all the values of a column, and then save each value into separate text files (labeled ANYTHING, 1-100 works fine). I know how to do this through another language, but I'm using SQL Server 2008 with Microsoft SQL Server Manager and it would save me some time from figuring out how to do it through C#.

I have recompiled Vim to use vimgdb, and it works, but the problem is that i need to attach to a process started by a root user so i have to use sudo to do it.... How can i do this with vimgdb?     I have a situation. I have a label in ASP.NET 2.0(C#). The label should display a dutch language text that is "Sähköpostiosoite", I tried setting the Label.Text both from markup and code-behind but what I see in the browser response is "Sähköpostiosoite". Originally assigned string "Sähköpostiosoite" get replaced with "Sähköpostiosoite". I have no idea why this happens can you please help me diagnose the problem ??

    I need an algorithm written in any language to find an image inside of an image, including at different scales. Does anyone know a starting point to solving a problem like this? For example: I have an image of 800x600 and in that image is a yellow ball measuring 180 pixels in circumference. I need to be able to find this image with a search pattern of a yellow ball having a circumference of 15 pixels. Thanks

I don't know why but the following won't show up in different language: {% if store.rating_count %} {% blocktrans with store.rating_count as count %} {{ count }} review {% plural %} {{ count }} reviews {% endblocktrans %} {% else %} {% trans "No reviews" %} {% endif %} And a snipplet from my django.po (created with makemessages): #: templates/reviews/category.html:65 #, python-format msgid "%(count)s review" msgid_plural "%(count)s reviews" msgstr[0] "%(count)s arvostelu" msgstr[1] "%(count)s arvostelua" Other strings translate fine from the same template. I have rerun compilemessages few times.

    I'm looking at a database dump file, and I see many records in various tables with their version number set in values other than 0 (even 94 in one case). I understand it has to do with hibernate locking strategy, but my concern is that today is Sunday, and the site has almost no visitors so is: is this normal ? Or is there a known hibernate bug or even some programming malpractice producing this ?
