    I am using My-eclipse and doing a struts project there is no syntax error but on starting tomcat server the following error appear in console. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.commons.logging.LogFactory and javax.servlet.UnavailableException: Parsing error processing resource path jndi:/localhost/strutspro/WEB-INF/struts-config.xml any idea whats the problem.

    I have a project with some Android test code in it (with the appropriate elements, <uses-library> and <instrumentation>, added to AndroidManifest.xml). This works fine in Eclipse.   • XCode linking error when targeting armv7.

    I've already spent countless hours puzzling over this, utilizing Google searches and other Stack Overflow questions to no avail. I have an iPhone/iPad universal application, which seems to compile fine when the target is armv6. However, when the device is iPad, I get this warning: warning: building for SDK 'Device - iPhone OS 3.2' requires an armv7 architecture. Oddly enough, the app still runs great on iPad in spite of this warning. However, I do want to do things the "right way" what ever that means in this case. When I switch the target architecture to armv7, I get linking errors: "___restore_vfp_d8_d15_regs", referenced from: *redacted* "___save_vfp_d8_d15_regs", referenced from: *redacted* ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status The "redacted" portions of the errors are references to the static library to which I'm trying to link. Here's what I've tried from the many suggestions online. Each of these were suggested more than once without any explanation, which leads me to believe nobody quite understands this problem: "Never use the drop down menu in the upper left of the XCode window to choose the target. Instead, set this to Base SDK and then the Base SDK to iPhone OS 3.0 in the target configuration. Set the target device to your preferred target (iPad, iPhone OS 3.2 in my situation.)" This yields the error "Library not found for -lcrt1.3.1.o" "Make sure that GCC isn't linking against the wrong version of the standard library. (You'll have to make sure the LIBRARY_SEARCH_PATH doesn't have the wrong path in it.)" My LIBRARY_SEARCH_PATH is already empty, so this doesn't seem relevant. "Try compiling with GCC 4.0 rather than GCC 4.2." I get a syntax error inside a UIKit header file. The error is "Syntax error before 'AT_NAME' token." The line is "UIKIT_EXTERN @interface UILocalizedIndexedCollation : NSObject." Another project compiles just fine with the same target settings, which is really making me question my sanity. Could I be dealing with a corrupt XCode project? If anyone knows what's actually happening and has a reference or doesn't mind explaining it, I would be so very grateful. Cheers!

    Hi, I have an [AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers] class library containing subtypes of the System.DataAnnotations.ValidationAttribute. The library is used on contract types of WCF services. In .NET 2/3.5, this worked fine. Since .NET 4.0 however, running a client of the service in the Visual Studio debugger results in the exception "Inheritance security rules violated by type: '(my subtype of ValidationAttribute)'. Derived types must either match the security accessibility of the base type or be less accessible." (System.TypeLoadException) The error appears to occure only when all of the following conditions are met: a subclass of ValidationAttribute is in an AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers assembly reflection is used to check for the attribute the Visual Studio hosting process is enabled (checkbox on Project properties, Debug tab) So basically, in Visual Studio.NET 2010: create a new Console project, add a reference to "System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations" 4.0.0.0, write the following code: . using System; [assembly: System.Security.AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers()] namespace TestingVaidationAttributeSecurity { public class MyValidationAttribute : System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations.ValidationAttribute { } [MyValidation] public class FooBar { } class Program { static void Main(string[] args) { Console.WriteLine("ValidationAttribute IsCritical: {0}", typeof(System.ComponentModel.DataAnnotations.ValidationAttribute).IsSecurityCritical); FooBar fb = new FooBar(); fb.GetType().GetCustomAttributes(true); Console.WriteLine("Press enter to end."); Console.ReadLine(); } } } Press F5 and you get the exception ! Press Ctrl-F5 (start without debugging), and it all works fine without exception... The strange thing is that the ValidationAttribute will or will not be securitycritical depending on the way you run the program (F5 or Ctrl+F5). As illustrated by the Console.WriteLine in the above code. But then again, this appear to happen with other attributes (and types?) too. Now the questions... Why do I have this behaviour when inheriting from ValidationAttribute, but not when inheriting from System.Attribute ? (Using Reflector I don't find special settings on the ValidationAttribute class or it's assembly) And what can I do to solve this ? How can I keep MyValidationAttribute inheriting from ValidationAttribute in an AllowPartiallyTrustedCallers assembly without marking it SecurityCritical, still using the new .NET 4 level 2 security model and still have it work using the VS.NET debug host (or other hosts) ??   • WinForms Menu Toolstrip Get Status

    So I have a project where there is some automatic initialization going on through some classes that are created automatically as global variables (yeah they are static instances). At a point inside this (it has no relation with the C# GUI for the user, so it isn't derived from any C# class) I need to see if a flag is set or not. I use toolstrip menu with checked and unchecked status in order to set or unset the flag. The problem is that I have difficulties to see if the flag is checked or not from this static class. My class is inside a different project/namespace and a DLL is created what later is linked to the GUI of the application. The GUI depends from this Manager class so making the Manager class to depend from the GUI is not an option. Nevertheless, I should be able to see its state knowing its name or through some other means.     I have an InstallShield MSI project. When I pass an MSIHANDLE from an InstallScript custom action to a managed assembly initialized via DotNetCoCreateObject(), the value received within my managed code is -2. Does anyone know if it is possible to access an MSIHANDLE from an InstallScript custom action that calls into managed code via DotNetCoCreateObject()? I'd like to log my custom action results to the same log file as the rest of the installation. I am using InstallShield 2010, Windows Install 4.5 and .Net 3.5.

  • Make CSRF middleware work in Django's 404 error pages

    I put a login box alone with a keyword search box in 404.html in a Django project so in case a 404 error is raised, visitors get more options to jump to other parts. But the CSRF middleware doesn't work in 404 error page with no csrf token rendered. I tried move 'django.middleware.csrf.CsrfViewMiddleware' to first of MIDDLEWARE_CLASSES in settings.py but did not work either. Anyone knows a solution?

I'm trying to get frame by using arVideoGetImage() function in order to process for with openCV functions. however program throws a "System.AccessViolationException" error in the following line of face detection example: CvSeq *faces = cvHaarDetectObjects(img, cascade, storage, 1.1, 3, 0, cvSize( 40, 40 )); ARtoolkit and openCV are work perfectly separately.     When writing PHP code for any given project, do you find you can write code off the top of your head? Or do you make multiple round trips to php.net? If it is the later, can you still be considered a good coder. This is a legitimate question as I find I have difficulty always remembering all of the functions that are available to me so I find I use php.net as a crutch. Is there anyway to improve this?

    Being a log4net newb / boob I just copied lines from an NHibernate example project where I can see the log.txt file is updated. Is there a quick answer why mine isn't creating the file?
