    I'm trying to get multiple image paths from my database in order to display them, but it currently doesn't work. Here's what i'm using: def get_image(self, userid, id): image = meta.Session.query(Image).filter_by(userid=userid) permanent_file = open(image[id].image_path, 'rb') if not os.path.exists(image.image_path): return 'No such file' data = permanent_file.read() permanent_file.close() response.content_type = guess_type(image.image_path)[0] or 'text/plain' return data I'm getting an error regarding this part: image[id].image_path What i want is for Pylons to display several jpg files on 1 page. Any idea how i could achieve this?

  • How to enable iPhone auto lock during MPMoviePlayer playback?

    When I play a video with MPMoviePlayerController in my app my iPhone does not auto lock (tested OS 3.0 & 3.1.2). However, the application.idleTimerDisabled = NO, so this setting is not affected by MPMoviePlayerController. How can I get my iPhone to sleep normally (e.g. after 3 min screen dims, then goes dark) when my app is running and playing a video?

    Anyone know of a command-line CSV viewer for Linux/OS X? I'm thinking of something like less but that spaces out the columns in a more readable way. (I'd be fine with opening it with OpenOffice Calc or Excel, but that's way too overpowered for just looking at the data like I need to.) Having horizontal and vertical scrolling would be great.

    Hi all i want to know there a limitation in size for an iphone to display an image? as the resolution of iphone is 320*480 px. i am developing an app which fetches photos from an URL and that URL contains some photos os size 600KB.So when i launch the app in simulator it behaves properly but in device the application crashes as soon as photos with higher resolution are displayed , and when lower resolution photos are displayed the app does not crash in the device.

  • Reusing a NSString variable - does it cause a memory leak?

    Coming from a .NET background I'm use to reusing string variables for storage, so is the code below likely to cause a memory leak? The code is targeting OS X on the iphone/itouch so no automatic GC. -(NSString*) stringExample { NSString *result = @"example"; result = [result stringByAppendingString:@" test"]; // where does "example" go? return result; } What confuses me is an NSStrings are immutable, but you can reuse an 'immutable' variable with no problem.

I tried to use s.replace(), but as it's not in place change, I ran as follows to get a wrong anwser. path1 = "/Users/smcho/Desktop/bracket/[10,20]" path2 = path1.replace('[','[[]') path3 = path2.replace(']','[]]') pathName = os.path.join(path3, "*.txt") print pathName -- /Users/smcho/Desktop/bracket/[[[]]10,20[]]/*.txt How can I do the multiple replace in python?     I'm testing some Java code that uses an android Bundle, and am getting a runtime exception whenever I create a Bundle in the unit test. The error I'm getting is java.lang.runtimeException at android.os.Bundle when I create the Bundle. It is running with the android SDK in the run configuration. Has anyone run into this problem before? Thanks!
