  • How do I accurately handle a batch seperator for SQL from C#

    For Data Explorer I would like to add support for a Batch separator. So for example if users type in: select 'GO' go select 1 as go Go select 100 I would like to return the three result sets. Its clear that I need some sort of parser here, my hope is that this is a solved problem and I can just plug it in. (writing a full T-SQL parser is not something I would like to do) What component / demo code could achieve splitting this batch into its 3 parts?

    Hi, When i detach wiews in eclipse on ubuntu, eg package explorer, it shows up as a separate window in ubuntu (Eclipse ends up taking up 4 windows, and that makes alt-tabbing through my open programs a pain) Is there a way to fix this so Eclipse only show up as one window in ubuntu no matter how many vews are detached?

    I'm trying to use the sample code here: I went to "Add Reference" dialog and added "Microsoft Word 12 library", but it doesn't appear in the Solution Explorer. I also added: using Microsoft.Office; I get the following error message when trying to declare a "Word" object. Error 1: The type or namespace name 'Word' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Any suggestions on how to properly reference the Word library?

I went to Tasks Import Data, and imported some data from a flat text file, opting to save the package on the server. Now how the heck do I get to the package to edit or run it again? Where in SQL Server Management Studio do I go? I've expanded everything and I can't find it. It's driving me nuts.

    Internet Explorer has an option to save a web page as a text file, with all the tags removed. I need a way to batch process that stuff for a project at work. Or there any command line utilities or libraries that can do the same thing for me? COM-interop with IE(not my first choice!)? It doesn't have to format exactly like IE, just give me plain text.

    I have been using git on windows-msysgit. Whenever I try to remove a repository completely either using explorer or using $ git rm -rf ptp/ fatal: Not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git it errors out "The data present in the reparse point buffer is invalid" or the fatal error above.     I'm writing an application in C# that uses proxies. The proxies are sending the HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR during HTTP requests, and this is unwanted behavior. I am extending the Interop.SHDocVw axWebBrowser (aka Internet Explorer) control right now, but can take another approach if needed for this problem. Is there some way to suppress this header... can this be done in code, on the proxy server, or not at all?

    My XP machine has become terribly slow and I want to identify the application at fault. It seems to be related to disk access rather than processor hogging. I can look at the task manager to get a good idea but it's not ideal. I was wondering if there was some application that can monitor all aspects of processes effectively. Is Process Explorer my only hope?
