    Unfortunately, Java has no syntax for multi-line string literals. No problem if the IDE makes it easy to work with constructs like String x = "CREATE TABLE TEST ( \n" + "A INTEGER NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY, \n" ... What is the fastest way to paste a multi-line String from the clipboard into Java source using Eclipse (in a way that it automagically creates code like the above).

    I do this query with NHibernate: var test = _session.CreateCriteria(typeof(Estimation)) .SetFetchMode("EstimationItems", FetchMode.Eager) .List(); An "Estimation" can have several "EstimationItems" (Quantity, Price and ProductId) I'd like a list of "Estimation" with these constraints : One line by "Estimation" code on the picture (ex : 2011/0001 and 2011/0003) By estimation (means on each line) the number of "EstimationItems" By Estimation (means on each line) the total price (Quantity * Price) for each "EstimationItems" I hope the structure will be clearer with the picture below.     Hi, I'm trying to get Gallio running some existing NUnit tests but they're not showing in Gallio. The assembly loads into Gallio fine and I can run them fine via Resharper within the VS IDE. I created a really simple NUnit test in VS and this also doesn't show so I know it's not something weird in my existing tests. Any ideas?

    Hi, Question regarding GtkBuilder. When we unref builder pointer does it destroys all the screens/widgets the builder had created? if( builder_ptr ) g_object_unref(G_OBJECT(builder_ptr)); Suppose we have created one screen using Glade/XML with some 2-3 top_level windows in it gtk_builder_add_from_file(builder_ptr, "Test.glade", &error ) and generated GtkBuilder pointer (as above) so after deleting this pointer does it deletes created Windows or do we need to manually delete these windows?   • Why oh why doesn't my asp.net treeview update?

    I'm using an ASP.net treeview on a page with a custom XmlDataSource. When the user clicks on a node of the tree, a detailsview pops up and edits a bunch of things about the underlying object. All this works properly, and the underlying object gets updated in my background object-management classes. Yay! However, my treeview just isn't updating the display. Either immediately (which i would like it to), or on full page re-load (which is the minimal useful level i need it to be at). Am i subclassing XmlDataSource poorly? I really don't know. Can anyone point me in a good direction? Thanks! I've got a package which loads and does various bits of processing on ~100k records on my laptop database in about 5 minutes Try the same package and same data on the test server, which is a reasonable box in both CPU and memory, and it's still running ... about 1 hour so far :-( Checked the package with a small set of data, and it ran through Ok

    I have the following code snippet: enum { one } x; enum { two } y; x = y; That will compile in C, but in C++, I get the following error: test.c:6: error: cannot convert ‘main()::<anonymous enum>’ to ‘main()::<anonymous enum>’ in assignment Can someone explain to me why this is happening? I would prefer an answer with some specifics about why the compiler behaves this way, rather than just "You can't do that"

  • Managing conflicting ivy repositories (in eclipse)

    I've got eclipse workspaces for my full time job and my home test work that are both set up with ivy (and using ivyDE). However, I'm finding that I'm getting strange behaviour and conflicts between the different workspaces - issues like not being able to find certain dependencies, or not compiling etc. Is there a way in ivy or ivyDE to set the home .ivy2 directory so that I can split my workspaces? At the moment, I'm alternating different directories for my .ivy2 cache.
