• Question about a dialog form and submit errors

  Hi, I have the link below that executes the action message/new which shows a form inside a jqueryui modal dialog. <div id="myDialog"> </div> echo jq_link_to_remote('Enviar mensaje', array( 'url' => 'mensaje/new?receptor='.$miembro->getId().'&tipo=0&estado=0', 'update' => 'myDialog', 'complete' => "jQuery('#myDialog').dialog({ width:375, height:220, top:123, resizable:false, modal:true, autoOpen: false }); jQuery('#myDialog').dialog('open')" )); The point: if there are submit errors the form is not showed inside the dialog form but in a empty page (mensaje/create).. • C# template engine

  Hi! I am looking for a stand-alone, easy to use from C# code, template engine. What I want to do is create an html and xml files with placeholders for data, and fill them with data from my code. The engine needs to support loops (duplicating parts of the template form more that one object) and conditions (add parts of the template to the final html/xml only if some conditions are true). Can someone recommend a good option for me, and add a link to more-or-less such code sample, and some documentation about how to use the recommended component for my needs? Thanks:) Just wanted to add one more thing - I also need to use loops to duplicate table rows, or even entire tables (in the html version) and complex elements (in the xml version) Thanks again:)

• Displaying name instead of ID PHP MySQL

  Hi, I need something simple; I have page where a user clicks an author to see the books associated with that author. On my page displaying the list of books for the author, I want a simple HTML title saying: 'The books for: AUTHORNAME' I can get the page to display author ID but not the name. When the user clicks the link in the previous page of the author, it looks likes this: <a href="viewauthorbooks.php?author_id=<?php echo $row['author_id']?>"><?php echo $row['authorname']?></a> And then on the 'viewauthorbooks.php?author_id=23' I have declared this at the start: $author_id = $_GET['author_id']; $authorname = $_GET['authorname']; And finally, 'The books for: AUTHORNAME, where it says AUTHORNAME, I have this: echo $authorname (With PHP tags, buts its not letting me put them in!) And this doesnt show anything, however if I change it to author_id, it displays the correct author ID that has been clicked, but its not exactly user friendly!! Can anyone help me out!

  Hi, I'm trying to make a custom gridview in WPF but I just realized that as this link says: The GridViewHeaderRowPresenter class performs layout for the column headers in a GridView and places an additional column header at the end to add space and because of the additional column header at the end, there's an extra column to the right of the last column. so I was wondering if I can modify it, please refer to this image below My questions are: Is there anyway I can remove the 'A' part from the grid? Is there anyway I can add the same effect of 'B' part (the role = padding header) to the 'C' Part (before the first column)? Thanks

  So I was trying to compile a code which has a SHA1 function .. I included following header: #include <openssl/sha.h> And I got the following error while compiling: test.c:9:5: error: 'SHA1' is deprecated: first deprecated in OS X 10.7 [-Werror,-Wdeprecated-declarations] SHA1(msg, strlen(msg), hs); ^ But man pages still have the descriptions for that function. Can anyone suggest any other header for a similar function ( MD5 or SHA1 )? PS - also do I need to link any libraries while compiling using gcc?

  Hi! I'm learning HTML and I wanted to practice by recreating a invoice sent to me by Electronics Expo. However, I used the background-image property and repeated it by repeat-x and now, the background stretches across the page so much that it has a horizontal bar to drag. http://htmlpocketreference.110mb.com/index.html You can see what I did in my link above.   Greetings, stack*overflow* In my database, I already have one table, 'contacts' that contains records of individual people. I also have several other tables in my database which represent "skill sets" that contain records denoting a particular skill. 1) Am I correct in plotting this as a "many-to-many" relationship? (each contact can have multiple skill sets, and each skill set can belong to multiple contacts) 2) I'm new to databases -- do I want to link the tables? 3) Is there a way to implement this in my program (C# + windows forms) such that for any given record in the 'contacts' table, either the names of all associated 'skill set' tables or all the 'skill' records associated with the 'contact' record could be retrieved? (Database is located on SQL Server Express 2008)

• Secure messaging using Signed MIME is it reliable?

  We have an automatic reporting and notification system written in .net that sends emails with plain text. We are having to encrypt the messages that we send our clients. The possible implementation approaches we have: Send messages as S/Mime email with attachments. Plain text email with that just contains a link to a web site that will display the message over https. It seems like S/Mime is a simpler solution, as we won't need to create the web application or secure it. Our concern is our interoperability with our clients email clients and more importantly their email filtering software. Has anyone had success or issues deploying a Signed MIME messaging solution?

  Suppose I have a web app with a servlet defined in web.xml. Then I deploy it on Tomcat. Then I open my browser and go to the link to this servlet, it is invoked. Then I close my browser window. How Session behaves ? How is it created, destroyed in this case? if this servlet is "detached" from all the web app, and gets parameters only using post & get, so it does not need Session at all, should one use Session.invalidate at the end of doGet(), doPost() ?

Associated with any web page, i want to create notes that will be saved locally in a database, the notes will be reloaded automatically from that database the next time i visit the same page. Creating the note is easy, but i'm looking for how to link the notes to the web page url and how to keep aware of the active web page. Any idea?   Hey, I want to add a parameter to a URL but currently it isnt showing in the $_GET global. A snippet from my htaccess file is as below: RewriteRule ^account/blogs/([0-9]+)/([^\s?]+)/?$ /account/blog.php?blogId=$1 [L,QSA] Then in my php code i want to add a link such as: /account/blogs/1/ThisIsWhereTheTitleGoes?delete=1 The wildcard (any char but space) option is for the blog title as i never know what it would be. I know want to add a query string param on the end such as ?delete=1. I however dont want this as part of the rewrite. Does anybody know how to so this? Thanks

• Use of WebDAV to access OWA (exchange 2003) mails with Basic authentication and SSL

  I have got a working C# code for accessing OWA mails using WebDAV against a FBA enabled exchange 2003 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/891748/en-us/) But my client's OWA (exchange 2003) has Basic authentication and SSL (i-e when I try to access the web mail link through browser I get a grey login box instead of a web page I can log into the mail box once I enter the correct details) But my same fails with a 401 error against this mailbox. I got the simple request working for the Basic authentication using – String usernamePassword = strUserName + ":" + strPassword; WebReq.Headers.Add("Authorization", "Basic " + Convert.ToBase64String(new ASCIIEncoding().GetBytes(usernamePassword))); But the subsequent WebDAV SEARCH request fails with 404 (resource not found) error. Can we use WebDAV against an exchange 2k3 with SSL and Basic authentication?

  I am attempting to design and build a website for my friends band. There is minimal content to be included such as bio,news,enbemdded Audio/Visual material. My web dev expertise is average. I'm basicaly looking for inspiration, I was edging towards embedding a silverlight deepzoom xap object to add some visual stimulation, perhaps by featuring a high res photo of the bandshardware/equipment which zooms when mouseover occurs. Does anyone have any cool ideas for a central feature for this site, and which way to approact it in terms of technique (js,css,silverlight etc) If anyone has any immediate ideas which they think would be cool then I am eager to hear them! Also if anyone can link me to any cool band sites they have come across recently I would be greatful,nothing too complicated though please I will be doing all the work myself.   Hi, i have already research on using the mail() to send to multiple recipient's but i just cant get it to work. What im trying to do is, for every order that i have, order 1,2,3, each having their own email addresses, when i change their order status from pending to confirm, the mail() will use that id to refer to the db table and send the email of those 3 orders. But for my case, it mailed just the latest order which is order 3. • How to quickly access documentation in Xcode 4.5.1?

  How can I quickly access the documentation for a symbol, method, enum, etc. in Xcode 4.5? alt + click on symbol shows a quick-info. Apple removed the dictionary icon which opened the documentation. I tried all other possible shortcuts of the cmd / alt / shift / click mumbo jumbo dance and none of them open the documentation browser. I suppose there is a hidden trick to quickly open it anyways? Edit: Figured out this new quick-info box has a link to the documentation.
