  • Datepicker BeforeShowDay CSS problem with content styling

    I think I'm not the only one having this problem. Whenever I try to apply a BeforeShowDay a new CSS class, the content of the "special date" is not being modified. I tried changing the default theme, adding a new class, but this is affecting only the outside border and not the inside content. Using Firebug I found that the html code being printed is the following: <td class=" ui-state-content ui-state-anulados" onclick="DP_jQuery.datepicker._selectDay('#datepicker',9,2009, this);return false;" title="Paddle"> <a class="ui-state-default" href="#">16</a> </td> So, my class would be ui-state-content ui-state-anulados but I notice that the ui-state-default class is being applied automatically and I suspect that this may be the problem. I really don't know how to solve this. I've been looking inside ui.datepicker.js code and I think I found the line that is giving me this problems. It is line number 1394 and it has the following code. (ui.datepicker.js) (unselectable ?     Hello, I am working on my personal site, where I want to store my customers recent search result limited to that particular session. I am using PHP platform and Javascripts. Here is an example of what I am exactly looking at : It stores your previously searched domain name for that particular session so that user can make decision by comparing those results.   • Can a Client Link to My JavaScript, Hosted on a Different Domain?

    Is it possible for me to supply a client with a snippet of HTML which contains a reference to a javascript file that I host? They want to paste this HTML into their CMS, so that when their page loads, it'll load our content. I was under the impression that there was cross domain security preventing this from being possible. What if, instead of linking to the JavaScript, I gave them the snippet of HTML with the JavaScript already included so instead of <div> <!-- link to js --> </div> I gave them <div> $.get(/*url to my content*/); </div> Would that work?

  • scrollLeft works but scrollTop doesn't work

  • Highlight DIV and dim the rest on mouseover

    I have a page full of DIVs which contain images. When I mouse over an image I can highlight it or add a shadow to accent it easily by adding class etc but is there a way to dim every other image instead. DIVs are loaded into DOM and I would like the DIV currently hovered over to retain 100% or 1 opacity and the rest of the DIVs on the page to fade to say 70% or 0.7 when one DIV is highlighted. Is this possible?

Now I need to implement a combobox (assume that I have got 2010, 2011,2012) to allow the user select a year . then when user clicks View or Modify link, which is placed in the table, selected year will be passed to another page as a parameter.   • How to get rid of the 'progress' cursor?

    I have an interval that launches an AJAX call to check if there is any update for the page (I imagine that it's similar to the mechanism used by Facebook or StackExchange to check for new notifications). The problem is that this call changes the cursor to the 'progress' or 'busy' cursor (visual problem) and disables to option to click on links (functional problem). I suppose both problems are related. How can get rid of this effect or at least minimize the consequences?   • Draggble object hides outside content when wrapt in span

    I have a simple CSS problem In this site http://web.cinaird.se/pdf/test.htm I have a draggable images in the top content, I want a span that float on top of the image and for this I need a span containing the image and a span floating on top. So long no problem but now when i drag the image it hides outside the top content. so my question is as follows, how can I wrap a image and a floating span above and still be able to drag it outside the container.   • Approaches to timing out sessions on a web app using AJAX autorefreshes

    I'm writing a web application that autorefreshes data with an AJAX call at set intervals. Because it's doing that, server side user sessions never time out, since the last activity is refreshed with every ajax call. Are there good client side rules I could implement to time out the user? I.e. should I track mouse movements in the browser, etc., or should I point the AJAX calls to URLs that don't refresh the session? I like that my AJAX calls hit a session-enabled URL, because I can also validate that the user is logged in, etc. Any thoughts in terms of whether I should even bother timing out the users?
