  • Delphi simple TCP server hangs. The form freezes but the server continues managing the clients.

    I'm using a form with an IdTCPServer on it managing strings from the client with a AThread.connection.readln/writeln system. The string handling works and that isn't the problem. The thing is, the form with the server on it hangs and will not load, but it still managed all the clients connected to it so it IS running but it just doesn't work as a form. I'll make a guess that its sitting on a readline or something... but I have NO idea how i can fix this at this moment in time.     I have multiple language packs in my NSIS installer, using the MUI2 interface. Now I try to select the language pack, which is installed by the "Typical" installation type according to the user's chosen setup language. My problem is, that I can't figure out, how to get the user's language selection. I already tried to access the variables $LANGUAGE and $mui.LangDLL.RegistryLanguage, as well as trying to compare a defined language string to a specific translation string, but without success.

I'm currently torn between t-sql allows three part naming when dropping tables but not when dropping procudures and When using Coalesce to produce a delimited string the presence of a leading delimiter is dependant on whether the delimited string was initialised prior to calling Coalesce I'd be interested to hear yours......

I have figured out a solution, the only problem is that I ended up having to use a define that has to be used in all of the derived classes. Is there a simpler way to do this that doesn't need the define or a copy paste? Now in a scenario where if i would delete the screen name in screens class but then the screen rights for that screen still exists in the rights declaration. is it possible to delete the corresponding screen rights from userrights document too? if so please mention the query or idea to do the above..     assumbe ie is still the dominate web browser, the XMLHttpRequest.responseText or XMLHttpRequest.responseXML in ie desire txt or xml/xhtml/html,but what about the server response the xmlHttprequest whith MIME TYPE octact/binary? would the response string all littele than 256 ?(every char of that string < 256), thanks very much for a straight answer, i have no webserver env,so i don't know how to test it out.
