• Windows domain login to temporary user

  We have a Windows domain with about 60 user accounts. Sometimes when a user logs in to his computer (already his account is created and has files there) windows logs him to a temporary user, displaying his name and everything, but without his files and data. This problem is rare and is solved simply by logging out and logging in. I noticed that it occurs at a close timings; they all happen at the same day if they did. My question is why does that happen? I want to trace the problem because it is so annoying when it happens, and I can't find a relative event that may be causing it: no server is down when it happens, no system maintenance or anything. We're running Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard, SP2 in the Domain Controller (and the same for the additional DC). The machines where this problem happened before are running Windows XP and Windows 7.

  I started with the standard scriptaculous drag and drop tree, and that all works fine. Then started implementing this: http://www.artweb-design.de/2008/5/30/scriptaculous-sortabletree which gives a good drag and drop tree Where I am stuck is how to get serialize the tree (unordered list)? It's not in a form, and I can't find a way to serialize it to move onto setting up the AJAX update.

• Folder access per user

  I have sbs 2003 r2. I have a shared folder (s-drive) for all shared info for everyone. when user is on shared folder, you see size of folder 230G. I have one user that only sees 1g when on shared folder. I have pcs using XP pro. Have check quota and they say no quota limit checked. I had user use a different pc and still same result. With this I looked at server and users profile and compared with user that did not have problem. could not see anything different. what did I miss in some option or do I have to rebuild user? I have tried google with different terms but have not gotten any good clues

• PHP won't load php.ini

  I am racking my brain here and I must be doing something really stupid. I'm trying to setup PHP on Win2008 R2/IIS 7.5. I unpacked php538 into c:\php538 and renamed the php.ini-development to php.ini. Then i tried going to a command prompt and running: c:\php358\php -info I get: Configuration File (php.ini) Path => C:\windows Loaded Configuration File => (none)Scan this dir for additional .ini files => (none) Additional .ini files parsed => (none) Loaded Configuration File => (none) Scan this dir for additional .ini files => (none) Additional .ini files parsed => (none) I have tried using php5217. I tried putting php.ini in c:\windows. I tried creating the PHPRC envrionment variable and pointing it to c:\php358. Every time I have the same problem. PHP does not find or load the ini file. If I run: c:\php358\php -c php.ini -info Then it will load the file. But I shouldn't have to do this for PHP to find the file in the same directory, in the Windows directory, or using the environment variable, so I'm stumped. When I try to run PHP from IIS I get a 500 error and I can only assume at this time it is because it can't find and load the php.ini file correctly. I see similar questions on here, but none seem to address the problem I am having.

The agenda featured an introduction by Ray Wagner, Managing VP at Gartner, followed by Amit discussing the trends in Identity and Access Management shaping Oracle's strategy. Today we are seeing the largest re-architecture in a decade. Every business from manufacturing to retail is transforming the way they do business. Manufacturing companies are becoming manufacturing services companies. Retail organizations are embracing social retail. Healthcare is being delivered on-line around the clock. Identity Management is at the center of the transformation. Whether you are Toyota embracing a social network for cars or launching the next Iphone, the Identity of the user provides context to enable the interaction and secure the experience.   I was actually hired at Oracle Health Sciences to work on the HTB application. Long story short, when HL7 version 3 was relatively new ... Canada made an initial sprint at adoption. Since then progress has slowed. I was part of that initial adoption and learned a lot about the Reference Information Model. At that time we worked mostly with CDA R2 Level 3 (fully coded/ structured xml) documents.HTB is a HL7 v3 RIM-based repository. Love it or hate it, the product is unique in the market place. One of the advantages is the flexibility of the model. You can aggregate information from literally any source system without any HTB data model modification and then use that data in a semantically meaningful way. That's extremely powerful.There is a minor speed bump getting up to speed with HL7 v3, there's no doubt about that. I believe that is why Oracle recruited me from Canada originally - so I could have a running start at HTB. In the near future I'm looking forward to an application deep dive with John Hatem.

The Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel Release 3 (UEK R3) is Oracle's third major supported release of its heavily tested and optimized Linux kernel for Oracle Linux 6 on the x86_64 architecture. UEK R3 is based on mainline Linux version 3.8.13. Some notable highlights of this release include: Inclusion of DTrace for Linux into the kernel (no longer a separate kernel image).   Since the 11gR2 release, OUD supports Enterprise User Security (EUS) for database authentication and also Fusion Apps. I'll plan to blog on that soon. Meanwhile, the R2 OUD graphical setup does not let you configure both EUS and FusionApps support at the same time. However, it can be done manually using the dsconfig command line. • Circle collision detection and Vector math: HELP?

  Hey so i'm currently going through the wildbunny blog to learn about collision detection, but i'm a bit confused on how the vectors he's talking about come into play QUOTED BLOG: p = ||A-B|| – (r1+r2) The two spheres are penetrating by distance p. We would also like the penetration vector so that we can correct the penetration once we discover it. This is the vector that moves both circles to the point where they just touch, correcting the penetration. Importantly it is not only just a vector that does this, it is the only vector which corrects the penetration by moving the minimum amount. This is important because we only want to correct the error, not introduce more by moving too much when we correct, or too little. N = (A-B) / ||A-B|| P = N*p Here we have calculated the normalised vector N between the two centres and the penetration vector P by multiplying our unit direction by the penetration distance. Ok so i understand that p is the distance each circle is penetrating each other, but i don't get what exactly N and P is. it seems to me N is just the coordinates of the 3rd point of the right trianlge formed by point A and B (A-B) then being divided by the hypotenuse of that triangle or distance between A and B (||A-B||) Whats the significance of this? Also, what is the penetration vector used for? It seems to me like a movement that one of the circles would perform to get un-penetrated.
