• Copy filename to clipboard

  I am looking for a Windows utility that can copy the currently selected filename, including the path, to the clipboard, ideally through the right-click menu. Some degree of flexibility would be useful, like the ability to copy just the filename, path+filename, filename minus extension, etc. This isn't essential, though, as long as it can copy the path+filename. Must be compatible with XP, Vista and Win7. Free and/or open source would be ideal. Thanks!

  I have a system with Ubuntu 9.10 installed. I can connect to remote windows shares by using the "connect to server" under "places" menu. I can't figure out where these mount in the file system. And how can I get this to mount automatically on startup? And I can't install smbfs or anything else. I need to use only what comes on the live CD, as there is no internet connection and no way to get in packages.

• Word in office 2007 and Windows 7 ultimate cant navigate to folders

  In word 2007 I click office button top left I click open, I get the open box, in the top address bar, I if I click on the down arrow far right (previous Locations) the drop down menu is empty just a box with nothing in it. To go anywhere from here I have to navigate via the left had pane, on all other windows systems this dropdown has enabled me to go to any location on my computer. I'm wondering if because all my word documents are on my D drive that windows 7 doesn't like it.

If those shortcuts were already there, how can I know them? I want to continuously watch the netstat output concerning emulator stuff. right now I have to manually execute this command every time sudo netstat -plant | grep emulator I thought doing something like this would repeat above command automatically every 2 sec. watch sudo netstat -plant | grep emulator but instead it hangs the terminal.   Today I installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview on one of my notebook machines and I noticed that I can't access BIOS settings if I use the "Shut down" Windows option on Settings/Power menu. If I use the "Restart" option, my BIOS allow me to enter on it's settings over "F2" again. Is this happening to someone else? I looked over Windows 8 oficial forum and couldn't find such event. I have since disabled the "auto-publish" apps in the instances but still have the applications listed. What is the correct/best way to clear them out.   My understanding is that when a cpu is in C0 state , the cpufreq governor decides what P-state the CPU should reside in .When a CPU goes idle, it falls from C0 state to a deeper C-state. The cpuidle govenor, say menu , takes over in deciding which C-state the CPU should go to , once the CPU goes idle . Is my understanding correct ?
