  Hi I have been tasked to either find an off the shelf solution or to build inhouse some software that can maintain a list of all of the applications within our business, assign them to the different business areas that use them and list all the servers, documents, knowledge base etc that relate to the app in question.   I'm currently using the BO API for .NET to connect to our reports database. In .NET, I'm getting the following error: Your security profile does not include permission to refresh Web Intelligence documents. (WIS 30253) Interestingly enough, I can log into BO, and I can refresh the data and grab prompts as I'm logged in. From .NET, with the same username and password, I can't seem to do so. Anybody have any thoughts on this?

• How to scale JPEG image down so that text is clear as possible?

  I have some JPEG images that I need scale down to about 80% of original size. Original image dimension are about 700px × 1000px. Images contain some computer generated text and possibly some graphics (similar to what you would find in corporate word documents). How to scale image so that the text is as legible as possible? Currently we are scaling the imaeg down using bicubic interpolation, but that makes the text blurry and foggy.

When i came back, the cpp file wouldn't open through visual studio, I have the exe and object files. Please tell me I can get my source code back :( EDIT: the .cpp file is blank, and i wasn't prompted for recovery when starting visual studio again. I already checked /documents/visualstudio/backup, nothing is there.

• Can I change the temp folder path?

  I have an asp.net app that uses System.IO.Path.GetTempFileName() for temporary files. In the production IIS environment (W2K3), the temp folder (System.IO.Path.GetTempPath()) points to C:\Windows\Temp. But on my XP dev machine it's C:\documents and settings\machinename\ASPNET\temp. Is it possible to change this folder without affecting other accounts on my machine?

Specifically I'm thinking about 24 or 32 bit unsigned integer operands. I haven't been able to find information about this in any of the CUDA documentation I've examined so far.
