  • writing to a dataframe from a for-loop in R

    I'm trying to write from a loop to a data frame in R, for example a loop like this for (i in 1:20) { print(c(i+i,i*i,i/1))} and to write each line of 3 values to a data frame with three columns, so that each iteration takes on a new row. I've tried using matrix, with ncol=3 and filled by rows, but only get the last item from the loop. Thanks.

    I use FloatLabel library (https://github.com/weddingparty/AndroidFloatLabel) to add a little animation when user begin to write something in an EditText Android. My problem is that the typeface seems to be changed when i apply the password type to my EditText. I would like to keep the same typeface as normal.   • vim plugin to show current Perl subroutine

    I'm trying to make a vim plugin that will split the window on load and simulate a info bar at the top of my terminal. I've got it sorta working but I think I've either reached limits of my knowledge of vim syntax or there's a logic problem in my code. The desired effect would be to do a reverse search for any declaration of a Perl subroutine form my current location in the active buffer and display the line in the top buffer. I'm also trying to make it skip that buffer when I switch buffers with <C-R>. My attempt at that so far can be seen in the mess of nested if statements. Anyway, here's the code.     I am using ajax to insert a series of informational blocks via a loop. The blocks each have a title, and long description in them that is hidden by default. They function like an accordion, only showing one description at a time amongst all of the blocks. The problem is opening the description on the first block. I would REALLY like to do it with javascript right after the loop that is creating them is done.     i am getting JSON data from http://abinet.org/?json=1 and displaying the titles in a ListView. the code is working fine but the problem is, it is skipping few titles in my ListView and one title is being repeated.     I use the following configuration for nginx: http://gist.github.com/340956 However, this configuration causes a No input file specified error with PHP. The only way I have been able to solve it is by altering this line: fastcgi_param SCRIPT_FILENAME $document_root/$fastcgi_script_name; Note the "/" between $document_root and $fastcgi_script_name. I was informed that this is the wrong configuration but no one has been able to tell me exactly why my configuration requires this extra slash. How can I get rid of that extra slash?

    Do you know any easy way to know what is the length of current selection in Eclipse? I.e. I select a line fragment and would like to know how many characters are there? Usually I count them manually, but that's stupid. When being desperate I move to the start, check the column number, move to the end, check the column number, subtract, think a minute if I should add 1 or not... and my selection is lost.

    Hi, I'm Having some trouble in a vm that seems to occur only once in a hundred during shutdown/reboot. To help the debug, I'm thinking to write a script that runs on my desktop, which starts the vm and automate operations for a huge number of times (keyboard key pressed) whithin it. (VirtualBox preferred). It's just exactly how a script using the expect lib would do with a program in command line. I'm not sure it's possible, but anyway, if anyone has an idea... Cheers
