  • Underscore characters disappears

    I'm using jEdit 4.3 pre 16. As I've mentioned on the title, when I'm typing, sometimes underscore characters disappears. I tried to change fonts, line highlighting etc. but it didn't work. Is there any solution of this problem?

  • JQuery, ASCX and webmethods not seems to be working

    Hi all, I have a cascading dropdown (3 of them) Type, Categories and Sub Categories. Type loads first and upon selection of Type, Category load and selection of Category, Sub Category loads. Also i have 2 buttons, "Add Category" and "Add Sub Category" Upon clicking on these buttons, i call a JQuery Modal Form to add them. I use Webmethod in code behind to add them to database This works perfectly in ASPX page. Since I need use this in 3-4 pages, i thought of making the above as User control (ASCX). When i try to use this in a webpage, the webmethods in ASCX don't get called. Is my approach correct? what should be done for my scenario lOoking forward for your suggestions.     I've been building a framework and writing unit tests in GHUnit. One of my Framework's accessor methods returns an NSInteger. I assert the expected value in the tests like this: GHAssertEquals(1320, request.port, @"Port number should be 1320"); When running my tests with an AppKit UI based frontend this assertion passes. However, when I run my tests on the command line, it fails with a type-mismatch unless I type-cast my hard-coded 1320 as (NSInteger). What's causing the difference in the way the integer is being interpreted by the compiler? Is xcodebuild on the command line using a different data-type for hard coded integers?

    QCombobox set Item delegate not painting for current Item.. I am trying to create a combo box showing different line types (Solid, Dotted, Dash etc). Currently i am setting item delegate for its content so as to draw/paint line type instead of displaying names. All line types are drawing currectly but as soon as i am selecting any line type from the combobox, the current index of combo box is displaying just the line name and not painting it. How can i make it paint the selected line type on the current combo box index?

  • JKS, CER, SignCode issue

    Currently, I've got an intresting problem about signing an EXE file using the SignCode tool from Microsoft and a certificate (from GlobalSign)... So, we've bought a new certificate as the current one will expire in short time. The original format is JKS. I exported this certificate from .JKS to .CER so I can install on local machine in the Root Trusted Certificates section. I've installed it and if I open the certmgr.msc I can see it, but if I open the Control Panel - Internet Options - Content - Certificates - Root Trusted Certificates etc then I can't see it... I thought it should be here as well. When I run the signcode.exe tool I get the "unable to open a csp provider with the correct private key" error message. Note! The signcode.exe command is correct, because it works if I test with the old certificate. Please advise. Thank you in advance! Serge

  • Accessing a persistent ssh tunnel

    How do I pass commands (shell) to a persistent SSH tunnel rather than open a connection for every instance? I have a Python scraper running on a client server which passes URL variables and shell commands to a remote host via a reverse tunnel (forwarded port), so that the URL's are then executed on the host (python fabric ssh localhost:12345 'browser open URL'). I could make the reverse tunnel persistent but how do I echo the url/command to the session? Update - ControlMaster (built into SSH) solves this one.

  • Function parameter types in Python

    Unless I'm mistaken, creating a function in python works like this def my_func(param1, param2): /*stuff*/ However, you don't actually give the types of those parameters. Also, if I remember, python is a strongly typed language, as such, it seams like python shouldn't let you pass in a parameter of a different type then the function creator expected. However, how does python know that the user of the function is passing in the proper types? Or will the program just die if it's the wrong type, assuming the function actually uses the parameter? Or do you have to specify the type/I'm missing something? Thank you.

  • newbie: how to upload images from a form with PHP and mySQL

    I'm creating a web app (locally, so security doesn't matter) in PHP where the user uploads a set of information and a small .jpeg, which is then inserted into a mySQL table. I can do this no problem with all the text data, but I'm not sure how to cause the image to upload alongside it. I assume I will have to use the blob data type and input type="file", but I fooled around with that a little bit and the solution doesn't seem to be an intuitive extension of how input type="text" works. Do I need to do a lot more PHP scripting to get this to work? Is it possible to upload an image with a form, or is there a necessary intermediate step?

  • How to stop a random ramp in FCGI Processes Killing the server

    So got the below earlier to day... Around that time the logs show a ramp in processes(600) and associated memory (1.2g), cpu usage load average (80) untill the server gave out. Server had to be hard reset by host as there was no ssh or plesk panel access. Fast CGI is configured as below and is setup for one high use site. As I understand it FcgidMaxProcesses 20 should protect against what happen but has not. I've read many forums with differing answers and references to many different fcgi directives, but have found nothing conclusive. Any one got some definitive answers on how to stop this sort of server process ramping and subsequent server failure? If you need more info let me know.     Hi SQL'ers, This is a followup question to: SQL Query with ORDER BY But I think the SQL logic is going to be quite different, so I am posting it as separate question. I am trying to extend my sql SELECT query it and having some trouble: I have the table: id type radius ------------------------- 1 type1 0.25 2 type2 0.59 3 type1 0.26 4 type1 0.78 5 type3 0.12 6 type2 0.45 7 type3 0.22 8 type3 0.98 and I am trying to learn how to SELECT the second smallest radius for each given type. So the returned recordset should look like: id type radius ------------------------- 3 type1 0.26 2 type2 0.59 7 type3 0.22 (Note: in the referenced question, I was looking for the lowest radius, not the second lowest radius). I am assuming I have to use LIMIT and OFFSET, but if I use the MIN() won't that return a distinct record containing the minimum radius? Does anyone have any thoughts on how to attack this?     Hi, in my C# WPF prog i´am trying to set a value of a HTML Text Element which is defined like: <input name="tbBName" type="text" id="tbBName" tabindex="1" /> What i found about it and tried is: mshtml.HTMLDocument doc = (mshtml.HTMLDocument)webBrowser1.Document; mshtml.HTMLInputTextElement tbName = (mshtml.HTMLInputTextElement)doc.getElementsByName("tbBName"); tbName.value = "Test"; But i got the exception: Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'mshtml.HTMLInputTextElement'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{3050F520-98B5-11CF-BB82-00AA00BDCE0B}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)). I know what it says but i dont know which object i can use to access the Texbox. Thanks for any answers.
