    I am reading the Head First PHP/Mysql book and they say to store both the user's username, email into cookies and sessions. Is it safe to assume that everyone nowadays accepts cookies? Or should I store both in sessions and cookies? I am not storing any sensitive data in cookies such as password, etc.

    I currently am working on a web application that needs to collect data from a form and will take the information and put it in a report format and sent it to a fax machine and print it out.   • how should i load a bitmap for an android game?

    i been working on a game with no bitmaps or anything, I'm using rectangles as objects and changing their color for their purpose like a red rectangles for player and gray rectangles for walls. My question is what is the right way to replace the rectangles with bitmaps/images? I know to load Bitmaps you can just do this : Bitmap randomBitmap = BitmapFactory.decodeResource(getResources(), com.example.android4gametest.R.drawable.ic_launcher); Should i load all my Bitmaps and pass them to their Classes or should i load the bitmap inside their class instead of passing it ? and how would i do that because i cannot use the BitmapFactory because i have no access to the getResources()! or should i load my bitmaps/images from my assets folder which i know i wont have the same "tools" you can say to mess with the bitmap.

    Bit of a dumb question, but I'm wondering what the accepted way of passing data from back to an overridden base method is in c#. e.g. I guess I could do: class A { int x; public virtual void DoStuff() { Console.WriteLine(x); } } class B : A { public override void DoStuff() { x = 1; base.DoStuff(); } } But is there a better method that for example doesn't require the use of a member variable?

If I have a listbox control and the Contol Item contains a datatemplate which renders out 5 fields ( first name, last name, email, phone and DOB) all of which come from an observable collection. How can I allow the user to select a listbox item and have the valuesbe stored within a new listbox control?     I have a complex XSD schema and hundreds of XML files conforming to the schema. How do I automate the creation of related SQL Server tables to store the XML data? I've considered creating C# classes from the XSD schema using the xsd.exe tool and letting something like Subsonic figure out how to make a shiny database out of it, but not sure if it's the best way to approach it. Has anyone managed to elegantly import XSD files into SQL Server?

The flat table has columns that correspond to various nodes in the xml. What is the best way to do this using SSIS? Is this a good approach?     We have a database setup that consists of two parts: a static structure, and dynamic additions. For each database, the dynamic can be different, and sometimes we don't have data for all the dynamic fields. Rigt now, we check for empties by looking at the total count of records in the entire table, but we want to move to a more refined method of checking for empties if possible. Is it possible to quickly check through several hundred fields and see which ones are empty and which ones are populated?
