  • Lauching Lotus Notes with mailto:

    I have a mailto url in a web page. The target system contains both Microsoft Outlook and Lotus Notes. Microsoft Outlook is the **default** Mail Client. So when i click on *mailto* link it opens up Microsoft Outlook. I want it to open Lotus Notes when i click on the link and i do **NOT** want change the default mail client settings in Internet Options as well. Please suggest a solution or work around to achive this.

    I'm new to CE programming and I have a Marvel device PXA270 with Windows CE 5.0 installed. The device has one usb port. I wonder if there's ANYTHING I can try to connect a 3G-HDSPA usb stick to it. When plugged it only recognises its folders as a pendrive would do, but no Internet. Thx.

    I have an Excel worksheet where the user enters certain data, which I want to store in a text file and upload to a server using FTP. One site suggested adding a reference to "Microsoft Internet Transfer Control" and then define an "Inet" object to do the FTP. However, I am unable to find a reference with this name in "Tools - References" in the VB Editor. Does anyone know of a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance.

    I am writing an application for iPhone and had some questions regarding eula :- If I do not include any disclaimer/ eula in my app, then would Apple's standard EULA http://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/appstore/dev/stdeula/ automatically apply to my app ? If I include a small disclaimer inside my application (as a popup on initial screen), then would Apple's EULA still cover my app ? I tried downloading few apps on my ipad and did not see Apple's standard EULA. So, where can I actually see the EULA before downloading something ?

    I run my development environment in a VM and need to test the delivery and appearance of emails from my applications. The problem is when my SMTP server starts delivering a lot of mail to my corporate email account, the server is soon rejected as a source of spam. Of course, the major Internet email providers will also never accept email from such a server. I've delivered to a specified pickup directory and open in outlook express, but the problem is images always display as broken images.

I don't want to use an ActiveX, or OWC (Office Web Components), I just want to open an existing file from the internet explorer application. I don't want users to download and then open it.     I have an application that performs a little slow over the internet due to bandwidth reasons. I have enabled GZip which has improved download time by a significant amout, but I was also considering whether or not I could switch from XML to JSON in order to squeeze out that last bit of performance. Would using JSON make the message size significantly smaller, or just somewhat smaller? Let's say we're talking about 250kB of XML data (which compresses to 30kB).

I want my textfield to have the resize cursors (just like when you point your cursor on the corner of a window) and will be able to resize on runtime.
