  • Import and render the contents of a XAML file inline in another XAML file?

    I have a XAML file that I exported from Expression Design. I would like to render that XAML content inline in one of my user controls. Can I reference the external XAML file that I want to include as a Resource on the UserControl I want to render it in? Or is there some other markup that I can use to identify the XAML object in my project that I want rendered in the current location? I am using Silverlight 4.

    I'm implementing the TTThumbsViewController from the Three20 project and things are finally starting to take shape. I push the TTThumbsViewController from the current view controller by just pushing it onto the current stack and animate the transition (common navigation controller push). My problem is that when I pop the TThumbsViewController view controller, the navigation controller is stuck in a mode where its view controllers are drawn UNDER the navigation bar (which is now translucent).   • How to determine why visual studio might be skipping projects when building a solution

    I am debugging someone else's work and the solution is quite large. When I try to build the entire thing, several projects within the solution don't build and just skip. Viewing the output window during the build process says: 1------ Skipped Rebuild All: Project: pr1lib ------ How can I determine why these builds were skipped? I am unable to find additional output. This is with VS2008 and the solution is comprised of c# and c++ code.

  • C# Putting the required DLLs somewhere other than the root of the output

    I am using EmguCV for a project and when our program runs it needs some dlls like "cxcore.dll" etc. (or it throws runtime exceptions). At the moment, I put the files in the root of the output folder (selected "Copy Always" in the file's properties in Visual Studio). However it looks a bit messy, to have about 10 different dlls just there. Is there someway where I can move it to a subfolder in the output folder and it'll still find it.

  • Using icons in Android preferences

But this installer is writing registry entries in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\CompanyName\ProductName" . I am using both installshield script and vc++ DLL for custom actions. Why x64 installer is using WOW64 registry ?

After doing this, when I go to compile, I get this error: Linking console executable: bin/Debug/ttfx /usr/lib32/libSDL_image-1.2.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format What does this mean and how can I get it working?
