  Here is the flag to enable or to disable JSSE.-Dweblogic.ssl.JSSEEnabled=true|false Oracle recommends that you keep this value set to true.  Starting WLS 12c, Even if the above option is set to false , it is ignored. The changes are neither persisted nor the Mbean value is also left unmodified.... Please also be aware of the below changes in SSL implementation in 12c version 1. Certicom has been removed from WebLogic Server 12.1.1 and is no longer supported. 2. JSSE is the only SSL implementation that is supported in WebLogic Server 12.1.1. The following configuration changes have been made to be consistent with this support: The default for JSSEEnabled has been changed to true. Oracle recommends that you keep this value set to true. If JSSEEnabled is set to false, it will be ignored. That is, the MBean value will not be changed either in memory or the persisted config.xml file. • How do I unlock a user account?

  I've been to system settings and to User Accounts. My account is the only one on the system and I have previously been able to UnLock the screen so that I could set my account to login without password prompt. That didn't make any effect on the system. I still have to enter a password to log in, but now I can't unlock the User Accounts dialog to make any changes at all. What do I need to reset? note how the unlock box in the upper right hand corner isn't available for selection...

• How should I generate and store the boundries of a cave?

  I am making a small cave copter game (seriously, where did this type of game come from anyway) and I am trying to figure out how to make and store the procedural generated walls. I am thinking about creating the walls by randomly picking two points away from the center of the screen. They will be no closer than the height of helicopter and no further than the edge of the screen, weighted to prefer to go in the same direction as the point prior so I end up with stalactites and stalagmites and not just noise, at set intervals of distance. To store, perhaps parallel arrays/lists, one for distance from center to top screen and one for distance from center to bottom. Am I way off base with my thinking? I just want the cave to be varied and challenging, I just have never worked with generating data like this. Edit: Woah, I just realized that my idea would lead to a player being able to stay in the middle of the screen and win. That isn't right at all. So the very basis of how I was going to generate is wrong. Edit 2: I also realized I left out a very crucial point. Part of the mechanics of the game will let the player go backwards therefor the data structure should be continuous.

I'm not super familiar with this kind of networking, so I'm not 100% sure how to word this question/give enough details right away so please ask for any clarifications. That being said: Host: Xubuntu 14.04 Guest: Windows 7 enterprise Via thunar I can access these network drives fine by going to Browse Network > Windows Network > Server I want to use The name given in the address bar is: smb://SERVER-NAME So my question now, is how do I go about accessing these folders via my win 7 machine in virtualbox? I've searched but all I get is people who can't figure out shared folders between host/guest (which I've got working)

• Microsoft Tag Tagged Me

  I got EXTREMELY lucky last week and won an HP Mini 311 notebook from a Microsoft Tag Twitter contest. I did my required tweet to enter last Tuesday, and one hour later received notification that I had won the weekly drawing. Apparently you can tweet up to 500 times (I pity the followers of those who do that), so it was really lucky that I won, and I sympathize with those who had been really trying. I was vaguely aware of those pastel-y triangle-y square things that look like someone put one of Don Johnson’s Miami Vice outfits through a shredder, and knew that the company I work for (one of the world’s largest consumer products companies) was looking into putting them on our products, packaging and advertising, but didn’t know much more about the technology. I thought they were just an improvement over bar codes, and would be used in retail store scanners, but I was mistaken. These tags are meant to be scanned by consumers using their mobile phones, to get instant access to information, websites, reviews, etc. Scanning a tag can open a web page, import a contact card, or dial a phone number, play a video… Tag reader software can be installed on Windows Mobile, iPhone, Symbian, Blackberry, Android, J2ME, and other phones (and I suspect that it will be available for Windows Phone 7 also :). There are built-in tracking, metrics and analysis tools, to help companies using Tag make decisions about their marketing expenditures. (And they don’t have to look Miami Vice-y – They can be customized to reflect the personality of the person or a brand.) Looks like interesting stuff.   Before I had my first proper contact with Javascript I read an excellent book "Javascript: The Good Parts" by Douglas Crockford. I was hoping for something similar in case of PHP. My first thought was this book: "PHP: The Good Parts" from O'Reilly However after I read the reviews it seems it totally misses the point. I am looking for a resource that would: concentrate on known shortcommings of PHP, give concrete examples, be as exhaustive as possible I already see that things can go wrong. If you want to close this question: Please consider this, I looked through SO, and Programmers for materials. I obviously found this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/90924/what-is-the-best-php-programming-book It's general, mine is specific. Moreover I'm reading the top recommendation "PHP Objects, Patterns, and Practice" right now. I find it insufficient -- it doesn't address the bad practices as much as I would like it to. tl;dr My question is NOT a general PHP book request.

• Creating a curved mesh on inside of sphere based on texture image coordinates

  In Blender, I have created a sphere with a panoramic texture on the inside. I have also manually created a plane mesh (curved to match the size of the sphere) that sits on the inside wall where I can draw a different texture. This is great, but I really want to reduce the manual labor, and do some of this work in a script -- like having a variable for the panoramic image, and coordinates of the area in the photograph that I want to replace with a new mesh. The hardest part of doing this is going to be creating a curved mesh in code that can sit on the inside wall of a sphere. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

• 2D shader to draw representation of rotating sphere.

  I want to display a 3D textured sphere, and then rotate it in one direction. The direction will never change, and the camera will never move. One way is to actually create a spherical mesh, map a texture to it, rotate the sphere, and render in 3D. My question is, is there a way to display a 2D circle, that looks like a rotating sphere, with just a 2D shader. In other words, can someone think of a trick, like mapping a texture to the circle in a particular way, to give the appearance of an in-place rotating sphere, that is always viewed from the side? I don't need exact shader code, I'm just looking for the right idea.

• How do I edit my resolv.conf file?

  I have the problem that my ubuntu machine uses the wrong dns server. For some reason he queries localhost for dns records. I have added the dns server in the network settings gui, but /etc/resolv.conf still contains 127.0.0.1 as dns server. Now I tought I could just edit the file by myself, but it explicitly says I should not edit the file by hand. Now, since the network settings GUI didn't generate the file with the right settings, how do I generate a new resolv.conf file by myself?

• Why does wifi hotspot doesn't work correctly?

  I have created the wifi hotspot. In windows, it used to display wifi signal on my nokia C3 but after creating wifi hotspot from ubuntu, I am facing certain problem. Nokia C3 doesn't even gets wifi signal. But wifi signal appears in my samsung mobile GTS3-850 and I can access wifi if I put wifi security option to "none" On the other hand, if I create password then Nomatters, if I type right password or not, it doesn't connect to that wifi. Note : I use Wimax to access internet.

• How can I configure the login screen to be displayed in portrait orientation?

  I just started using linux, and I have one question. I have a monitor that I rotated 90? clockwise, so it, being rectangle shaped, is taller than it is wider. Using the system settings in Ubuntu, I set it up, and it works great, except the login screen and loading screen are not rotated right. They are rotated in the "normal" way. Is this just a glitch, or is there some setting I overlooked? I am using the open source drivers, and it is an ATI card, if that matters.

  I knocked up a nice little query to display backup history for each database in a pivot table format.I wanted to display the most recent full, differential, and transaction log backup for each database. • Can no longer boot with rEFIt and Grub on early 2006 MacBook Pro

  I don't know what happened to cause this. I have Snow Leopard, Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal and Windows XP SP3 on my early 2006 MacBook Pro. It is a Core Duo unit, NOT Core 2 Duo, so it is 32-bit only - Model Identifier MacBookPro1,1. I use rEFIt 0.14 for my boot menu. For some reason neither XP nor Ubuntu would boot anymore. I'd just get a black screen with a rapidly flashing underscore in the top-left corner. Having both those OSes failing to boot suggested a problem with the boot loader in my MBR. The rEFIT partition tool verified that my MBR partitions were still synced with my GPT partitions, so I rewrote my MBR partition table with fdisk while booted from Parted Magic: # fdisk /dev/sda (fdisk warns about the disk having a GPT. I press on anyway.) p (Print the existing partition table to make sure it's OK.) w (Write the old partition table back to disk. This also writes a new MBR boot loader.) After this XP would boot but Ubuntu would not, with the same symptom. Now I used update-grub while chrooted into Ubuntu from Parted Magic: # mount /dev/sda3 /mnt # mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev # mount --bind /sys /mnt/sys # mount --bind /proc /mnt/proc # chroot /mnt Chroot issues some warnings about not being able to identify some group IDs. I don't know why that happens, or whether it is a problem. At this point while I am still booted off of Parted Magic's kernel, I am running from Natty's filesystem. # update-grub Update-grub detects each of my operating systems then claims to complete successfully, but still won't boot. I asked this same question over at rEFIt's Sourceforge support forum but there have been no replies yet. I also Googled quite a bit, and see many who have the same black screen problem, but none of their situations seem quite like mine. Thanks for any help you can give me. -- Don Quixote

  I am registering as a Developer to sell paid applications on the Google Play store and have run into a slight issue: After I paid, I clicked on "Setup merchant details" link. I filled out the business address section, but in the "Public contact" section, Google says this: How can your customers get in touch with you? This information will be made available to your customers when they make a purchase. I work from home. I do not want customers knowing my home address, nor do I want it displayed anywhere online or even accessible by anyone. Should I just enter NA in each of the following fields? Surely Google understands that we have a right to keep such things private? How can I get around this while not getting my account suspended or risk not being approved?

I've unlimited hosting account and I want to host their websites in my account without reseller account (actually it is not needed for constness). Only my client's need is ftp access to their personal directory. So is it possible to give them saperate phpMyAdmin access in this strategy ? As per my knowledge it is done with "addon" domain pointing on my hosting account's directory with cPanel, am I right ? or there is another solution for it except reseller account ?

  This question already has an answer here: Show path of a body of where it should go after linear impulse is applied 2 answers I am making a game that includes 2D projectile flight paths like that of Angry Birds. Angry Birds employs the notion that a previous shot is shown with a dotted line "arch" showing the player where that last shot went. I think recording that data is simple enough once a shot is fired, but in my game, I want to show it preemptively, ie: before the shot. How would I go about calculating this dotted line? The other caveat is I have wind in my game. How can you determine a projectile preemptively when wind will affect it too? This seems like a pretty tough problem. My wind right now just applies a constant force every step of animation in the direction of the wind flow. I'm using Box2D and AndEngine if it matters.

• FTP Sites vs Sites in IIS 7.0

  We have one FTP site set up (and working) basically like the instructions here: http://www.iis.net/learn/publish/using-the-ftp-service/creating-a-new-ftp-site-in-iis-7 It shows up under "Sites" and then the name of our FTP Site. However, above "Sites" (in the left navigation tree view), we see a node called "FTP Sites". When we click on it, it says "FTP Management is provided by IIS 6.0". Can someone give me the big picture of why this node appears, and why IIS 6 is involved? Is is some backward compatible feature? I didn't build these machines, so don't know the reasoning of what was done before I arrived on the scene. Also, is the tree view icon for websites and FTP sites the same?

• 12.04's music players won't stream radio stations

  I cannot get any music player in 12.04 to stream radio stations. My previous OS (ubuntu 10.04) had no problems with this. I have tried Rhythmbox and Exaile. neither works in 12.04 (but both work fine in 10.04. I inputted this stream: http://ummedia12.rs.itd.umich.edu:8004 I see that an internet connection is established by "Python" and I hear the "Advertisement" that plays right before the stream begins. But then just silence. The stream works fine in VLC, but I like to use the music players because they "store" the URL and have a tab that says Radio. I can find no way to "store" the URL in VLC. Anyone know what's wrong and why it's not working in the music players? I have fluendo plugins installed. I have python installed. I have ffmpeg installed.

  Limitation One In SharePoint 2010, you can join the primary list to a foreign list and include more than one field from the foreign list. However, the limitation is that the included fields from foreign list have to be the following type: Calculated (treated as plain text) ContentTypeId Counter Currency DateTime Guid Integer Note (one-line only) Number Text The above limitation also explains why you cannot include some types of the fields from the remote list when creating a lookup. Limitation Two When using CAML query to join SharePoint lists, there can be joins to multiple lists, multiple joins to the same list, and chains of joins. However, the limitations are only inner and left outer joins are permitted and the field in the primary list must be a Lookup type field that looks up to the field in the foreign list. • Verifying Office 2010 SP1 Installation

  So you downloaded and installed SP1, but now you want to verify that SP1 actually installed! Looking at Outlook's Help Screen under Help->About, it isn't readily apparent that SP1 is installed. Like me, you probably expected to see 14.1.something. Perhaps 14.0.something SP1, right? If you click on that "Additional Version and Copyright Information", another window will pop up and show you a bit more useful info (if you don't have the version numbers committed to memory) That window *does* give us that comforting SP1, and now we can determine that if you have Office 14.1.6023.1000 (and beyond) you are indeed runnning Office 2010 SP1!

  Hello to the gaming community. I am a budding game designer, learning to code for the first time in my life. I did learned c++ in school, 8 years back, so I sort of understand the logic when people are doing coding and I can suggest them the right route also, but to an extent I can't code. I am beginning to learn coding for Unity 3D. Which one do you suggest is more versatile and easier to work on for future, because I am a game designer not a coder, I would do coding until I don't have anyone else to code for me. It should be easy and fast to learn, functional and universal to apply, and innovative at the same time. C# or JavaScript ? Thank you for your time Ps- if you could suggest me steps to learn and tutorials to look for, that would be just awesome.
