Hi jQuery ninjas. I need your help. I have made a really clean and simple example to illustrate my problem. I have a ul list, with 10 items, and I have a label that displays the selected li text. When I click a button, I need to check the label, versus all the list items to find the matching one, when it finds that I need to assign the corresponding number. I.e. list: Messi Cristiano Zlatan hidden values of list items: www.messi.com www.cronaldo.com www.ibra.com label: Zlatan script (thought)procces: get label text, search list for matching string, get the value of that string. I'd like to write small scripts which feature incremental search (find-as-you-type) on the command line. Use case: I have my mobile phone connected via USB, Using gammu --sendsms TEXT I can write text messages. I have the phonebook as CSV, and want to search-as-i-type on that. What's the easiest/best way to do it? It might be in bash/zsh/Perl/Python or any other scripting language. Limitation of Attachment size when using SMTP

Hi, I wrote a C++ program to send a mail using SMTP. But when I attach any files I notices that a single file's size always is limited to 808 bytes. As an example if I send a text file with 10 KBs, when I download the attachment it has only text worth 808 bytes. If the large file is a zip file, it gets corrupted in unzipping obviously due to CRC failure. I used a MAPI library to send larger files without a problem. Is this a network limitation of SMTP? Can someone please explain why this is happening?? Thank You!!!

Hello guys, i want to create a text field that will be for date and will have dd.mm.YYYY format. Now what i want to do is the user to type only the numbers, not the dots to. So the field would be like: _ _. _ _ . _ _ _ _ So when the user wants to type the date: 15.05.2010 for example, he will only type the numbers in the sequence 15052010. Also i would like, when he preses on left or right arrow, the cursor to go from one field(not JTextField, but field in the JTextField). So lets say i have JTextField with text in it: 15.05.2010, so if user is on the beginning and he preses right arrow, the cursor to go to the .05 field. I hope you understand me 'cos right now i don't any idea how to make this, or at least how to look for it on google. Thank you.

Hi iam using a listbox to show a list of items. in the listbox i ahve an togglebutton on every item. When i click on the toggle button the state of the togglebutton is pressed. But when i am scrolling down in the listbox and scolls up again. The togglebutton state is not pressed. How can i prevent this please help. My XML scripts work fine in the local swf. If I load an external swf, can I still retreive XML data from the same way, or do I have to declare the root somewhere? It's a general question. Web App fails when moved to production environment. Which server permissions do I need?

I have developed a small web app. This app allows users to upload images. It also produces text files with the names of those images (the names are stored and retrieved to/from an MySQL Database.) I have developed this app using MAMP. To create the uploaded image files I use the PHP function imagejpeg('my/path/name.jpg') and to delete the files I use the PHP function unlink('folder1/folder2/name.jpg') to write to the text document I am using the function fopen('folder1/folder2/name.txt', 'w') all three of these functions produce errors related to permissions - now the site has been moved to a live hosting environment. Why is this? and what permissions do I need to set the folder's folder1 and folder2 to? I know that permission 777 is generally bad because it opens up your server to the public. However what I have found is that the functions fail to work unless I use 777 on the folders. Can anyone shed any light on my dilemma?

Unicode and PHP - am I doing something wrong?

I'm using Kohana 3, which has full support for Unicode. I have this as the first child of my <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> The Unicode character I am inserting into is é as in Café. However, I am getting the triangle with a ? (as in could not decode character). As far as I can tell in my own code, I am not doing any string manipulation on the text. In fact, I have placed the accent straight into a view's PHP file and it is still not working. I copied the character from this page: http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/00e9/index.htm I've only just started examining PHP's Unicode limitations, so I could be doing something horribly wrong. So, how do I display this character? Do I need to resort to the HTML entity?

SELECT sor.FPARTNO, sum(sor.FUNETPRICE) FROM sorels sor GROUP BY sor.FPARTNO FPartNo is the part number and the Funetprice is obviously the net price. The user also wants the description and this causes a problem. If I follow up with this: SELECT sor.FPARTNO, sor.fdesc, sum(sor.FUNETPRICE) FROM sorels sor GROUP BY sor.FPARTNO, sor.fdesc If there are multiple variations of the description for that part number, typically very small variations in the text, then I don't actually aggregate on the part number. Make sense? I'm sure this must be simple. How can I return the first fdesc that corresponds to the part number? Any of the description variations would suffice as they are almost entirely identical. Edit: The description is a text field.

C# - Hiding ListViewItem based on a filter

I want to hide some items based on a text filter in a ListView. Basically the listview loads the items from a text file, and I don't want it to be read and/or written when the user searches the list. The search is done in a combobox's KeyDown event, but there is no "Visible" property of the ListViewItem. Is there any easy way to do this, WITHOUT re-reading the file? (as it is an XML file, and it could even contain thousands of items, it would be hard to search efficiently and even let the user use the application, as the search would take for minutes (mostly with the loading)).

CSS for mobile sometimes reverts back to original

So most of the time my stylesheets appear properly. The standard/original one always works flawlessly, however it seems sometimes the mobile one is disregarded when looked at from a mobile device I have them designated as follows: <link runat="server" href="CustomStyleSheets/Menu.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> <link href="CustomStyleSheets/mobile.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="only screen and (max-device-width: 799px)" /> I'm using a Droid X to view the page, in portrait mode, so the device width shouldn't be exceeding the max-width specified above, but sometimes, randomly, it still reverts back to the original css page. Any way to keep it from doing so?
