• Validating age field

  Hi people, I'm trying to validate an age field in a form but I'm having some problem. First I tried to make sure that the field will not be send empty. • Can't get my object to point at the mouse.

  I'm using a combination of SDL and OpenGL in a sort of crash course project to teach myself how this all works. I'm really only interested in OpenGL as a way to use acceleration in 2D games so I just need this to work in a 2D plane. I'd really appreciate any help I could get here. I'm guessing there might be an issue here with state versus polled events but from all the tutorials that I've been through I was pretty sure I had fixed that. I've just hit a wall and I need some advice!

I'm using Hibernate from Spring (appfuse), usually as detached objects.

• VS2010 renders controls JS awkwardly

  I have created a Website Project in VS2010. My Controls are not rendered correctly. The JS that is produced is not correctly formatted. • make IIS 7.5 cache static content files over diferent pages

  On a Windows 2008 R2, using DNS and IIS I've established my development test server; i.e. I'll have a web application that I can browse on http://test.dev I've moved all the static content files like images, js files and css files into another application which is visible on http://cdn.test.dev test.dev, uses cdn.test.dev urls like http://cdn.test.dev/js/jquery.js to load js, css and images. When I first load "~/" of test.dev, all files will load with a response code of 200; when I press F5 in Firefox, all files, except the "~/default.aspx", will load with 304 response code; but pressing Ctrl+F5 loads them again with a 200 code; if I browse another url like "~/pages/" in test.dev, all of those static files will reload with a 200 code... Is this normal or I'm doing something wrong? Actually, I'm looking for a behavior like this: I want the client to load http://cdn.test.dev/js/jquery.js, only once. I want the client's browser to use this jquery.js file, from cache, in all other pages of test.dev Is this possible?   It is a RMI Server object , so many sethumanActivity() might be run , how do i make sure the previous changeToFalse thread will be stop or halt before the new changeToFalse run? t. interrupt ? • How can I get to the value of my WPF UserControl DependencyProperty from UI Automation Framework?

  Hi, I'm having trouble getting access to my WPF UserControl DependencyProperty values through the UI Automation Framework. I've used James McCaffreys article in MSDN as a starting point (Automating IO Tests in WPF Applications, MSDN March 2009), but I can only see properties etc in standard controls such as buttons. I'm assuming there's some Automation interface I have to implement on my UserControl, but what and how? I can already see my control fine e.g. in UISpy, but I can't see the dependency properties within it. • How to disable JSR-303 Hibernate Validation in Spring3

  After putting hibernate-validator.jar and javax.validation-api.jar in my classpath the org.springframework.dao.DataIntegrityViolationException is replaced by org.hibernate.exception.ConstraintViolationException and this is causing a lot of issues. I have to put this two jars to be able to upgrade Jersey to 2.4, it has dependency on these two jars. Putting these properties into hibernate.properties file doesn't help, hibernate simply ignores them but it loads the properties on start-up loaded properties from resource hibernate.properties: {hibernate.validator.apply_to_ddl=false,hibernate.validator.autoregister_listeners=false etc} javax.persistence.validation.mode=none hibernate.validator.autoregister_listeners=false hibernate.validator.apply_to_ddl=false I am using Spring 3.2.4 with SessionFactory and mapping resources from hbm.xml files with constraints in it, hibernate 3.6.9.final, hibernate-validator 5.0.final, javax.validator-api 1.1.0.Final I just can't figure out how to disable hibernate validation, any help will be much appreciated.

  I have been unsuccessful in formulating a RRULE that would allow an event as shown below: Repeats YEARLY, from first Sunday of April to last day of May, occuring on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, until forever. FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=4;BYDAY=SU (gives me the first Sunday of April repeating yearly) and FREQ=YEARLY;BYMONTH=5;BYMONTHDAY=-1 (gives me the last day of May repeating yearly) But I can't figure out how to have the event repeat yearly between those dates for Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Suggestions? Update: Comments don't have enough space to respond to Chris' answer, so I am editing the question with further information. Unfortunately, no. I don't know if it is the DDay.iCal library I'm using, or what, but that doesn't work either. I've found that the date start can't be an ordinal date (first Sunday, etc.)..it has to be a specific date, which makes it difficult for my requirements. • Best way to model map values in Grails?

  Hi guys, I have to implement map values in my Grails app. I have a class that can contain 0..N OsmTags, and the key is unique. In Java I would model this with a Map in each object, but I don't know how to map classes in Grails.   I'm trying to iterate through an array of elements. jQuery's documentation says: jquery.Each() documentation Returning non-false is the same as a continue statement in a for loop, it will skip immediately to the next iteration. I've tried calling 'return non-false;' and 'non-false;' (sans return) neither of which skip to the next iteration. Instead, they break the loop. What am i missing?

  Ok, I hope I don't mess this up, I have had a look for some answers but can't find anything. I am trying to make a simple sampler in openframeworks using the FMOD sound player in 3D mode. I can make a single instance work fine (recording a new file using libsndfilerecorder and then playing it back and moving it in surround. However I want to have 8 layers of looping audio that I can record and replace one layer at a time in a live show. I get a lot of problems as soon as I have more than 1 layer. The first part of my question relates to the FMOD 3D modes, it is listener relative, so I have to define the position of my listener for every sound (I would prefer to have head relative mode but I cannot make this work at all. Again this works fine when I am using a single player but with multiple players only the last listener I update actually works. The main problem I have is that when I use multiple players I get distortion, and often a mix of other currently playing sounds (even when the microphone cannot hear them) in my new recordings. Is there an incompatability with libsndfilerecorder and FMOD?
