    Hi, I am (newbie) using Kohana V 3.0.3 and my directory structure is: pojectsys (kohana's system directory) parallel to htdocs directory C:\xampp\pojectsys and my application directory is in htdocs C:\xampp\htdocs\examples Inside C:\xampp\htdocs\examples\index.php, following variables have been set: $application = 'C:\xampp\htdocs\examples\application'; $system = 'C:\xampp\pojectsys'; Now when I am trying to execute http://lc.examples.com/ then Kohana returns error: ErrorException [ Fatal Error ]: Class 'Controller' not found for line 3 class Controller_Welcome extends Controller { Please help me to resolve this issue.

    Hi all, My view controller needs to know when it is poped out of the navigation controller stack, so that it can retain itself, wait and release itself later with another notification. I intend to do like that when the view is sent dealloc message: - (void)dealloc { if (self.isPerformingSomeTask) { self.isPopedOut = YES; [self retain]; return; } [super dealloc]; } But I think this is not a good solution? Any idea?

    Hi all, I have a CherryPy server with a Django application running as a Windows service, inside a controller I need to make a call to wmic, the problem is, so far I have only been able to implement a blocking operation.     I have an ASP.NET web application(webforms,not MVC) developed in VS 2008 and i have implemented ASP.NET web forms URL routing by following this link http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/articles/051309-1.aspx#postadlink It works pretty good when i run it on the Visual studion IDE.But does not works when i created a site under my IIS (IIS 5.1 in XP) and deployed the same files there.I have set ASP.NET version as 2.0 in the Properties window of my application too.But does not work.   • Changing API level Android Studio

    I want to change the minimum SDK version in Android Studio from API 12 to API 14. I have tried changing it in the manifest file, i.e., <uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="14" android:targetSdkVersion="18" /> and rebuilding the project, but I still get the Android Studio IDE throwing up some errors. I presume I have to set the min SDK in 'project properties' or something similar so the IDE recognises the change, but I can't find where this is done in Android Studio. Pointers greatly appreciated. But when I run command cake bake model, I do not get table Notes on the list. I can add it manually, but after that I get some errors when running cake bake controller and cake bake view.   • Cleanest way to run/debug python programs in windows

    Python for Windows by default comes with IDLE, which is the barest-bones IDE I've ever encountered. For editing files, I'll stick to emacs, thank you very much. However, I want to run programs in some other shell than the crappy windows command prompt, which can't be widened to more than 80 characters. IDLE lets me run programs in it if I open the file, then hit F5 (to go Run- Run Module). I would rather like to just "run" the command, rather than going through the rigmarole of closing the emacs file, loading the IDLE file, etc. A scan of google and the IDLE docs doesn't seem to give much help about using IDLE's shell but not it's IDE. Any advice from the stack overflow guys? Ideally I'd either like advice on running programs using IDLE's shell advice on other ways to run python programs in windows outside of IDLE or "cmd". Failed to queue test run 'username@computername 2010-04-15 06:06:03': Object of type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.LoadTesting.LoadTestConstantLoadProfile' cannot be converted to type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.WebStress.WebTestLoadProfile'.   • Eclipse users: Do you use Aptana too?

    This San Mateo development company makes a freely downloadable convenient packaging of many plugins for Eclipse called Aptana. I was recently in an environment where Aptana came pre-installed. Not only is it a good IDE for RoR, it also does a somewhat decent job (sans debugging) for PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. According to their own web site, their IDE also supports Adobe Air and the iPhone. If you are currently using Eclipse, then do you also use Aptana too? What, if any, are the drawbacks to using Aptana?

    Visual studio is a pretty awesome IDE, but sometimes you just wish it would go faster. I was wondering if people have any tips or tricks to help speed up visual studio in day to day use. Things that I'm particularly interested in are speeding up build times and switching aspx files from source to design view seem to bring it to a grinding halt. Having said that, I'd be keen to hear anything that anyone uses to make VS run that little bit faster. Edit: Merged answers from related question, covering VS2008SP1.
