  • WebSphere MQ running under local account / group cannot read group memberships for Active Directory user. Workaround or alternative resolution?

    - by noahz
I am developing an application that is using WebSphere MQ v6.0. WebSphere MQ is currently not working due to the following issue: WebSphere MQ service runs under local user "MUSR_MQADMIN" in the local group "mqm" I attempt to use the service using my own account, BIZ\noahz MUSR_MQADMIN needs to check if BIZ\noahz is in local group "mqm" MUSR_MQADMIN does not have permission to read the Active Directory group membership of BIZ\noahz The following error appears in the MQ log file: ----- amqzfubn.c : 3582 ------------------------------------------------------- 1/31/2011 18:51:32 - Process(704.1105) User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqzlaa0.exe) AMQ8079: Access was denied when attempting to retrieve group membership information for user 'noahz@biz'. EXPLANATION: WebSphere MQ, running with the authority of user 'musr_mqadmin@noahz-biz', was unable to retrieve group membership information for the specified user. ACTION: Ensure Active Directory access permissions allow user 'musr_mqadmin@noahz-biz' to read group memberships for user 'noahz@biz'. To retrieve group membership information for a domain user, MQ must run with the authority of a domain user. ----- amqzfubn.c : 3582 ------------------------------------------------------- I found more information is here on IBM's web site: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv7/v7r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.mq.amqtac.doc/wq10830_.htm I don't have Active Directory admin rights for my Windows machine, so my question is: Is there anything else I can do to resolve (or work-around) this issue and get WebSphere MQ working for me again? For example, can I disable this security check in WebSphere MQ?

  • What is the alternative of Apache's global Alias in IIS? (e.g. Alias /phpMyAdmin "c:/AppServ/www/phpMyAdmin")

    - by Sk8erPeter
I know there's an "Add Virtual Directory..." option in every given sites in IIS with which I can set up e.g. phpMyAdmin's path to be reached with prepending /phpmyadmin to the address (e.g. http://example.com/phpmyadmin), but isn't there a "global" setting similar to Apache's Alias? For example, in Apache this setting looks like this: <IfModule mod_alias.c> Alias /phpMyAdmin "c:/AppServ/www/phpMyAdmin" Alias /phpmyadmin "c:/AppServ/www/phpMyAdmin" </IfModule> This way I reach phpmyadmin with every hosts. (http://example1.com/phpmyadmin, http://example2.com/phpmyadmin also does work) But in IIS, do I have to add a virtual directory to every sites? I'm just curious, because we would like to serve some domain's content, so there would be multiple sites. It would be more comfortable to do it once (or have the opportunity to remove it once), but if I have to, I do add a virtual directory for each sites. (I know, maybe it's the better solution, because I can have a site where I don't want phpmyadmin to be available, but I was just curious.) Thanks in advance!

  • Why is my Ubuntu system not using the correct kernel?

    - by Brooks Moses
We're having a bit of confusion on a Ubuntu remote system -- /boot/grub/menu.lst suggests the system should boot into kernel 2.6.35-30-generic, but it is actually running kernel 2.6.32-27-generic. Where should I look to start figuring out why this is happening and how to fix it? Specifically, /boot/grub/menu.lst has default 0 and the first entry is title Ubuntu 10.10, kernel 2.6.35-30-generic uuid 67717ee3-cbf9-45d2-ae97-820256f4c4fd kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-30-generic root=UUID=67717ee3-cbf9-45d2- ae97-820256f4c4fd ro quiet splash initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-30-generic Further, I've confirmed that /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-30-generic and /boot/initrd.img-2.6.35-30-generic exist and have appropriate permissions. • Antenna Aligner Part 7: Connecting the dots

    - by Chris George
The app is basically ready, so I eagerly started to sort out creating the application entry in iTunes Connect. It's mostly intuitive actually, although I did have to create yet another icon for iTunes sized 512x512 pixels, damn lucky I did the original graphics as vector! It took me longer to write the application description than anything else, I'm so not a tech author! I didn't like the way you have to 'make up' an SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) number. I have to do some googling to find out that it really doesn't matter what it is! It should be more obvious what to do from the actual website itself. That aside, the rest of it was actually fairly straightforward. As well as the details of the application, iPhone and iPad screenshots were also required. This posed somewhat of a problem. The iPhone ones were easy (as I have one!), but I do not (yet) own an iPad . So I thought I'd leave the iPad screenshots out for now. Once the application details were sorted, I moved onto the rights and pricing. At the start of the project I had made the decision that I wouldn't charge any more than the lowest amount £0.59. I believe there is a market for this, but as my first foray into app development I didn't want to take the mick. I did realise, however, that I had built my app with a developer certificate and provisioning profile. This was fairly quickly corrected, and again Nomad made this very easy to switch over to the distribution certificate and provisioning profile. With a sense of excitement I cracked open iTunes connect and clicked the upload button ... ...slight snag... . when the Nomad project was started, Apple allowed uploads of these binaries via iTunes Connect. But this is no longer possible, the only upload path is via the Application Loader available from the Apple Developer program. This itself has one limitation, it only runs on a mac! D'OH!!!  Actually my language was somewhat more colourful when this fact came to light. After picking my laptop up off the floor and putting it back together... ok only joking, but I did nearly throw it out of frustration!... I started to consider the options; I briefly entertained the idea of buying a cheap mac from ebay... no, that defeats the whole object of what I'm doing, plus my wife wouldn't be impressed there are some guys out there in the interweb who will upload your app for a small fee...but I don't really like the idea of giving some faceless email address my apple developer login details, as well as my app binary! find some willing friend with a mac who would kindly let me use it... obviously this is the only sensible option. In the meantime, I informed the Nomad team about this slight 'issue' and they are currently investigating possible solutions...

  • Generate JSON object with transactionReceipt

    - by Carlos
Hi, I've been the past days trying to test my first in-app purchse iphone application. Unfortunately I can't find the way to talk to iTunes server to verify the transactionReceipt. Because it's my first try with this technology I chose to verify the receipt directly from the iPhone instead using server support. But after trying to send the POST request with a JSON onbject created using the JSON api from google code, itunes always returns a strange response (instead the "status = 0" string I wait for). Here's the code that I use to verify the receipt: - (void)recordTransaction:(SKPaymentTransaction *)transaction { NSString *receiptStr = [[NSString alloc] initWithData:transaction.transactionReceipt encoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]; NSDictionary *jsonDictionary = [NSDictionary dictionaryWithObjectsAndKeys:@"algo mas",@"receipt-data",nil]; NSString *jsonString = [jsonDictionary JSONRepresentation]; NSLog(@"string to send: %@",jsonString); NSLog(@"JSON Created"); urlData = [[NSMutableData data] retain]; //NSURL *sandboxStoreURL = [[NSURL alloc] initWithString:@"https://sandbox.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt"]; NSMutableURLRequest *request = [NSMutableURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"https://sandbox.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt"]]; [request setHTTPMethod:@"POST"]; [request setHTTPBody:[jsonString dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding]]; NSLog(@"will create connection"); [[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:request delegate:self]; } maybe I'm forgetting something in the request's headers but I think that the problem is in the method I use to create the JSON object. HEre's how the JSON object looks like before I add it to the HTTPBody : string to send: {"receipt-data":"{\n\t\"signature\" = \"AUYMbhY ........... D0gIjEuMCI7Cn0=\";\n\t\"pod\" = \"100\";\n\t\"signing-status\" = \"0\";\n}"} The responses I've got: complete response { exception = "java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Property list parsing failed while attempting to read unquoted string. No allowable characters were found. At line number: 1, column: 0."; status = 21002; } Thanks a lot for your guidance.

  • Why does this program stop running?

    - by designloper
Hi everyone....I am developing a card making system...nothing fancy. Right got this far but program now stops running with no error when running after the first card sample i.e. " Enter 'OK' if this card is OK, otherwise enter an alternative border character: + ". Any suggestions Java Masters? //Ask user for input //makes use of print line method System.out.println("Enter name: "); //took the variables //called the object of the scanner 'cardOrder' //and use the Scanner objects method '.nextLine' //to read the next line of the input firstName = cardOrder.nextLine(); mInitial = cardOrder.nextLine(); lastName = cardOrder.nextLine(); //Print out the "Here is a sample card" + the first name, middle initial and last name System.out.println("Here is a sample card: \n\n" + firstName + mInitial + lastName + "**************" + "**************" + firstName + mInitial + lastName + "\n* *" + "\n*" + " " + firstName + mInitial + lastName + " *" + "\n* *\n" + firstName + mInitial + lastName +"**************" + "**************" + firstName + mInitial + lastName + "\n"); //Ask user is the card is OK to proceed to order query or if they want an alternative border character: + System.out.println("Enter 'OK' if this card is OK, otherwise enter an alternative border character: + "); //Check if user entered "OK" and store it in var optionA optionA = cardOrder.nextLine(); //test if (a == optionA){ System.out.println("\nHow many cards would you like? • Confusing If Statement?

    - by NetSide
I always use If statement (In C#) as (1. Alternative); if (IsSuccessed == true) { // } I know that there is no need to write "== true" as (2. Alternative)); if (IsSuccessed) { // } But, I use it because it is more readable and cause no performance issue. Of course, this is my choice and I know many software developers prefer first alternative. What is the best usage, and Why?

  • Can't get iPhone to Sync with MacBook running OS X.

    - by Nicolas
I can't get the iPhone to sync with my MacBook running OS X, I've re-installed OS X and iTunes and then it worked, however once the MacBook had been switched off and on again the iPhone wouldn't sync. I then deleted AppleMobileDevice.kext, DeviceLink.Framework, MobileDevice.Framework and AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pky and re-installed iTunes, this then solved the problem until the MacBook was turned off and then on again. I've run out of ideas. Many thanks Nicolas
