    I have the following Model namespace ClientAPI.Models { public class Internal { public class ReportRequest { public DateTime StartTime; public DateTime EndTime; public string FileName; public string UserName; public string Password; } } } with the following method: [HttpPost] public HttpResponseMessage GetQuickbooksOFXService(Internal.ReportRequest Request){ return GetQuickbooksOFXService(Request.UserName, Request.Password, Request.StartTime, Request.EndTime, Request.FileName); } My webform looks like this: <form method="POST" action="http://localhost:56772/Internal/GetQuickbooksOFXService" target="_blank"> <input type="text" name="StartTime" value="2013-04-03T00:00:00"> <input type="text" name="EndTime" value="2013-05-04T00:00:00"> <input type="text" name="FileName" value="Export_2013-04-03_to_2013-05-03.qbo"> <input type="text" name="UserName" value="UserName"> <input type="text" name="Password" value="*****"> <input type="submit" value="Submit"></form> My question is: I get into the GetQuickbooksOFXService function but my model has all nulls in it instead something useful. Am I doing something wrong?

    I am developing a search dialog in my eclipse-rcp application. In the search dialog I have a combobox as follows: comboImp = new CCombo(grpColSpet, SWT.BORDER | SWT.READ_ONLY); comboImp.setBounds(556, 46, 184, 27); comboImpViewer = new ComboViewer(comboImp); comboImpViewer.setContentProvider(new ArrayContentProvider()); comboImpViewer.setInput(ImpContentProvider.getInstance().getImps()); comboImpViewer.setLabelProvider(new LabelProvider() { @Override public String getText(Object element) { return ((Imp)element).getImpName(); } }); Imp is a database entity, ManyToOne to the main entity which is searched, and ImpContentProvider is the model class which speaks to embedded sqlite database via jpa/hibernate. This combobox is supposed to contain all instances of Imp, but to also let empty selection; it's value is bound to a service bean as follows: IObservableValue comboImpSelectionObserveWidget = ViewersObservables.observeSingleSelection(comboImpViewer); IObservableValue filterByImpObserveValue = BeansObservables.observeValue(searchPrep, "imp"); bindingContext.bindValue(comboImpSelectionObserveWidget, filterByImpObserveValue , null, null); As soon as the user clicks on the combo, a selection (first element) is made: I can see the call to a selectionlistener i added on the viewer. My question is: after a selection has been made, how do I let the user change his mind and have an empty selection in the combobox? should I add a "fake" empty instance of Imp to the List returned by the ImpContentProvider? or should I implement an alternative to ArrayContentProvider? and one additional related question is: why calling deselectAll() and clearSelection() on the combo does NOT set a null value to the bound bean?

[myUIButton bind:@"enabled" toObject:myOtherObject withKeyPath:@"otherObjectBOOLProperty" options:nil]; This results in the warning 'UIButton' may not respond to '-bind:toObject:withKeyPath:options:' What I'm trying to do is bind the enabled state of my UIButton to myOtherObject.otherObjectBOOLProperty.

    I load a SELECT element via Ajax (list of brands), get its selected value (brand id) and load another SELECT via another Ajax URL (list of templates for currently selected brand).     Is it possible to use a converter the "wrong" way around? In other words: can I swap source and target? Here's an example: I created a simple IValueConverter called NullableDecimalToStringConverter which converts an input if "" into null and a number into decimal. I use it to bind a TextBox in my WPF view to a decimal? property in my ViewModel. In another context I'd like to convert a NullableDecimal into a String in the same way... Is it possible to simply use the existing NullableDecimalToStringConverter inverted? One method is to use the parameter of the converter to tell the converter which way it should convert. But is there a .NET build in way to do such a thing? Another way would be to build a base class with both conversion methods and two separate converter which call the base class methods...

    Hi, With a reference to my previous question, I would like to know how would I extract information of a WCF service from a client application to know what methods/types are exposed if the service exposes only one endpoint that uses webHttpBinding? Just to summarize, in my previous question, I came to know that an endpoint using webHttpBinding does not get exposed in the generated WSDL because it would be a JSON endpoint and is just not compatible.

I can successfully bind one of my database's tables to my DataGridView: var dataSource = from c in _db.NetworkedEquipments select c; dataGridView1.DataSource = dataSource; However, the foreign keys get duplicated, that is, the columns appear twice. How can I prevent this?

  • Vb net textbox cursor position always 0 after databinding

    please help me with the following if you can, i have the simple following command me.textbox1.databindings.clear me.textbox1.databindings.add("text",TicketsBindingSource,"TicketSubject") the command exeutes succesfully and i can see in the textbox the title, BUT once i click on the textbox1 the position of the cursor it's always moving to the position 0 and not to the area of the textbox i clicked. For example my textbox has the following text: "Hello World". If i click with my mouse inside the textbox at the letter W or anywhere i click the cursor is moving to the 0 index. eg. at the beggining , in order to move my cursor left or right i have to do that with my keyboard arrows keys, Dose anybody know how i can solve this issue?

I used to use Tag in the WinForms to set values such this, but in I don't know similar way in ASP.Net. In the database a child has a parent_id reference. This should be possible with observers, bindings or even through calculations but I have no clue where to start. Any help would be well appreciated.

  • Access images for my project when it is embedded in another project

    I have the following situation: ProjectA needs to show an image on a UserControl. It has the image in its project (can be a Resource or whatever). But ProjectA is just a dll. It is used by ProjectB (via Prism). So doing this in ProjectA works for design time (if the MyImage.png file is set to "Resource" compile action): <Image Source="pack://application:,,,/ProjectA;component/MyImage.png"></Image> But at run time, all that is copied to ProjectB is the dll (and that is all I want copied. So MyImage.png is present in the running folder... and it does not show an image. I thought that Making it Resource would embed it but it does not seem to work. I also tried to use a Resources.resx and that does not seem to work at all (or I can't find the way to bind the image in xaml). How can I put the image inside my dll and then reference it from there (or some other non-file system dependent way to get the image)?

Now I checked almost everything, the form is valid, isBound() is true, count() returns 3, I can see the values in my request: parameterHolder: action: index login: { login: foo, password: foo, _csrf_token: 53ebddee1883d7e3d6575d6fb1707a15 } module: login BUT getValues() returns NULL, getValue('login') etc. returns NULL as well. How can it be? And no, I don't want to use sfGuard-Plugins ;)

  • Programmatically adding an object and selecting the correspondig row does not make it become the CurrentRow

    I'm in a struggle with the DataGridView: I do have a BindingList of some simple objects that implement INotifyPropertyChanged. The DataGridView's datasource is set to this BindingList. Now I need to add an object to the list by hitting the "+" key. When an object is added, it should appear as a new row and it shall become the current row. As the CurrentRow-property is readonly, I iterate through all rows, check if its bound item is the newly created object, and if it is, I set this row to "Selected = true;" The problem: although the new object and thereby a new row gets inserted and selected in the DataGridView, it still is not the CurrentRow! It does not become the CurrentRow unless I do a mouse click into this new row. In this test program you can add new objects (and thereby rows) with the "+" key, and with the "i" key the data-bound object of the CurrentRow is shown in a MessageBox. How can I make a newly added object become the CurrentObject? Thanks for your help!     I would like to know if there is a way to connect to multiple resources: Specifically I have the following problem abstact class BaseClass { ObservableCollection<BaseClass>; } class GrandSonClass:BaseClass{} class SonClass:BaseClass{} class FatherClass:BaseClass { CollectionViewSource col = new CollectionViewSource ; col.Source = Items.SelectMany(p => p.Items); } FatherClass's Items are of ChildrenClass type, and ChildrenClass's Items are of GrandSonClass type; I want FatherClass to bind to all the GrandSonClass's items it possesses. The solution of using SelectMany is not good as I need this to be dynamically updated whenever FatherClass adds more Items and whenever its Items(SonClasses) add more Items. Now I could go on and write notifiaction events but I was wondering if there is a smarter way to do it -i.e. simply define the sources as the Items of each Item FatherClass posses
