    I have an Windows.Documents.InlineUIContainerin a RichTextBox, and sometimes it's font size of alignment change when I hit key combination such as Ctrl+Space. I couldn't find any place to handle these events and block them somehow. I don't want to block it in the RichTextBox. I am more looking for a way to block it only on the InlineUIContainer.

  • Adding relative path for an external graphic in a XSL document?

    Hi, first of, I don't know much about XSL. I am using a app called DITA to generate pdfs. One of the things it requires is an overwrite of an xsl file; to add custom styling. I am trying to add an external graphic using a relative path. It doesn't work, unless I supply the full path. Does not work: <fo:block text-align="center" width="100%"> <fo:external-graphic src="../../images/logo.png"/> </fo:block> Does work: <fo:block text-align="center" width="100%"> <fo:external-graphic src="/absolute/path/to/images/logo.png"/> </fo:block> I looked on the web, it said to use "file:image.png" and other website said to use "url(image.png)", but neither worked. What am I doing wrong?

  • Google Visualization legend format Jquery ui tabs

    I've got an issue when using the Google Visualization api line chart with Jquery ui tabs. I've got two graphs on two tabs. The first graph, which is visible by default displays fine: the second chart on the hidden tab seems to be messing up the key: I've tried changing the options but nothing I do seems to make any difference. Edit If I remove the tabs() call it displays correctly. As per answer below from @Vipul tried setting the div to a fixed width, no difference.

    Hi everyone. I'm having hard time with Xhtml Strict 1.0 and Css. And I'm almost out of solutions. My Site Url: http://www.pro-turk.net/beta/ I made a jquery multilevel dropdown menu for my site. It looks like OK, but I have used inline-block property of css display attribute on navigation menu which is a part of css 2.1 and isn't supported by some browsers (including ie6 and ie7). I want to make #nav li elements block level elements, but to do this and having all of them in same line, the only way is using float in #nav li. But I want to center them in their parent (the menu bar). So I need something like float:center (I know it's pretty stupid and doesn't exist). But is there a way to include block level elements as children elements without linebreaks (I mean without making a block level element). Regards.

    Hi all, I have a server-generated html like: <ul> <li><!-- few nested elements that form a block --></li> <li><!-- few nested elements that form anaother block --></li> <li><!-- etc, X times --></li> </ul> All blocks have known width 200px and unknown height. I want <li> to be arranged in table-like fashion like this: What I have for now is following css: li { display: block; width: 200px; float: left; margin: 10px; } All is fine except that columns don't get equal height. And in example above block #4 “snatch” at #1 and the result isn't what I'm trying to achieve: Is there any pure-CSS cross-browser way that will allow grid layout I want and will not enforce markup change?

  • How to accurately parse smtp message status code (DSN)?

    RFC1893 claims that status codes will come in the format below you can read more here. But our bounce management system is having a hard time parsing error status code from bounce messages. We are able to get the raw message, but depending on the email server the code will come in different places. Is there any rule on how to parse this type of messages to obtain better results. We are not looking for the 100% solution but at least 80%. This document defines a new set of status codes to report mail system conditions. These status codes are intended to be used for media and language independent status reporting. They are not intended for system specific diagnostics. The syntax of the new status codes is defined as: status-code = class "." subject "." detail class = "2"/"4"/"5" subject = 1*3digit detail = 1*3digit White-space characters and comments are NOT allowed within a status- code. Each numeric sub-code within the status-code MUST be expressed without leading zero digits. The quote above from the RFC tells one thing but then the text below from a leading tool on bounce management says something different, where I can get a good source of standard status codes: Return Code Description 0 UNDETERMINED - (ie. Recipient Reply) 10 HARD BOUNCE - (ie.   • .htacces file. Can I block access to a directory without blocking access to the files within it?

    I'm building a website, but I'm not entirely sure what to do with the .htaccess file. Say for example I have a folder called pages which holds all my pages, can i deny access to someone if they type in www.website.com/pages so that they can't see the directory? I've tried putting the .htaccess file in the pages folder with the "deny from all" line and although it denies access, it's also denying access to the actual pages. Is there a way to do this without denying access to see the pages on the website, just denying access to the directory? Sorry if this doesn't make much sense, I'm so confused lol. Thanks for any help.

There are known issues with browsers and proxies that may cause a mismatch in what the browser expects and what it receives with regard to compressed content. Fortunately, these edge cases are dwindling as the use of older browsers drops off. The Apache modules help out by adding appropriate Vary response headers automatically. I understand that the most common problem occurs with IE6 behind a proxy. But how common are these problems today? To quantify it, roughly what percentage of web users experience bugs with HTTP compression?

  • How do you use selected vertical blocks in Visual Studio 2008 and 2010?

    I get that you can select a vertical block in Visual Studio 2008 (alt-drag), but I don't understand how you use it once it's selected. How do you: Move the selection point inside the block and have the text you're typing get inserted on every line simultaneously? Move the block one space to the right/left Or can you just copy/delete the selection? I assumed when I saw the ability to select that it was something like TextMate's vertical blocks, but maybe it's just not as advanced as that. New behavior (as of VS2010 RC - added 13 Feb 2010): You can now type in the selection and have the same thing show up on every line. Tab moves the selected block

  • Is there a Java library with 3D spline functions?

    In particular, I need a way to represent a curve/spline that passes through a set of known 3D points, and a way of finding other points on the curve/spline, by subdivision/interpolation. For example, if I have a set of points P0 to PN, I want to find 100 points between P0 and P1 that are on a spline that passes through P0 and P1. I see that Java3D's KBRotPosScaleSplinePathInterpolator performs such a calculation, but it is tied to that API's scenegraph model and I do not see how to return the values I need.

How would I go about doing this? I believe that I'm going to have to check the elements by class of this $custom parameter. However, I have no idea how to go about doing this.

  • How to exit an if clause

    What sorts of methods exist for prematurely exiting an if clause? There are times when I'm writing code and want to put a break statement inside of an if clause, only to remember that those can only be used for loops. Lets take the following code as an example: if some_condition: ... if condition_a: # do something # and then exit the outer if block ... if condition_b: # do something # and then exit the outer if block # more code here I can think of one way to do this: assuming the exit cases happen within nested if statements, wrap the remaining code in a big else block. Example: if some_condition: ... if condition_a: # do something # and then exit the outer if block else: ... if condition_b: # do something # and then exit the outer if block else: # more code here The problem with this is that more exit locations mean more nesting/indented code. Alternatively, I could write my code to have the if clauses be as small as possible and not require any exits. Does anyone know of a good/better way to exit an if clause? If there are any associated else-if and else clauses, I figure that exiting would skip over them.

  • JSON Date coming through as Today's date?

    I'm trying to convert a JSON date to a dd/mm/yyyy format, which I'm managing to do semi-successfully. The problem I'm encountering is that the date from the record in the DB is for example, 2009-06-29 which is returning the usual JSON /Date(1246230000000)/, however, when I try and turn it into the previously mention dd/mm/yyyy format, it's coming through as today's date. The code I'm using to try and do this is: $('input#EmployeeName').result(function(event, data, formatted) { $('#StartDate').html(formatJSONDate(Date(!data ? '' : data.StartDate))); }); function formatJSONDate(jsonDate) { var newDate = dateFormat(jsonDate, "dd/mm/yyyy"); return newDate; } I'm using JavaScript Date Format to try and run the function. And as you type with the text search the matching items are selected. If the typed text doesn't match an item then the SelectedColorLevel is set to null. The question is at what point (and how) is it best to create a new custom item that can be set to the SelectedColorLevel when the typed text doesn't match an item. For example I would want to assign a new item to the selected value such as new ColorLevel { Intensity = decimal.Parse(textvalue), IsCustom = true } or using an appropriate converter and databinding to the Text property.

It does not call the ereaders grid, instead of its still loading blocks and grids from Sales only. I searched most of the files related to report, am not still able to find out the problem. Hope many of you gone through these sort of issues, please can anyone tell me where am making mistake or missing something.

  • Getting a lightweight installation of java eclipse.

    Having dealt with yet another stupid eclipse problem, I want to try to get the lightest, most minimal eclipse installation as possible. To be clear, I use eclipse for two things: - Editing Java - Debugging Java Everything else I do through emacs/zsh (editing jsp/xml/js, file management, svn check-in, etc). I have not found any aspect of working in eclipse to do these tasks to be efficient or even reliable, so I do not want plug-ins that relate to it. From the eclipse.org site, this is the lightest install of eclipse that they have, and I don't want any of those things (bugzilla, mylyn, cvs, xml_ui), and have actually had problems with each of them even though I do not use them. So what is the minimal build I can get that will: 1) Ignore svn metadata 2) Includes the full-featured editor (intellisense and type-finding) 3) Includes the full-featured debugger (standard eclipse/jdk) Does not have any extra plug-ins, platforms, or "integrations" with other platforms, specifically, I don't want to deal with plug-ins relating to: Maven, JSP Validation, Javascript editing or validation, CVS or SVN, Mylyn, Spring or Hibernate "natures", app servers like a bundled tomcat/glassfish/etc, J2EE tools, or anything of the like. I do primarily spring/hibernate/web-mvc apps, and have never dealt with an eclipse plug-in that handles any of it gracefully, I can work effectively with my own toolset, but eclipse extensions do nothing but get in the way. I have worked with plain eclipse up to Ganymede, MyEclipse (up to 7.5), and the latest version of Spring-SourceTools, and find that they are all saddled with buggy useless plug-ins (though the combination is always different). Switching to netbeans/intellij is not an option, and my teammates work with svn-controlled .class/.project files, so it pretty much has to be eclipse. Does anyone have any good advice on how I can save a few grey hairs?
